Took mom here to celebrate Mother's Day - she loved every second at our table window and every bite of our delicious meal. The sea bass is my go to, and we opted for that and the cod. You can never go wrong with the plaintain fried rice or the lobster mashed potatoes. I also wanted her to try the scallop appetizer dish, but they only come with two (there were three of us dining), and our server so graciously offered to add another to the order. The food stations were unique -- yakitori, ceviche, sushi, dim sum -- and delicious. Despite the fact that the restaurant was packed and noisey, our table was quiet and provided us with a very romantic and accommodating environment. The food was absolutely spectacular and we couldn't have asked for kinder service. Highly recommend coming here for any occasion, but especially a special one. I go each time I'm in LA and always choose the classics menu. I've taken many first timers and have ALWAYS gotten rave reviews from each attendee.
