Asia de Cuba - Los AngelesAnother great meal at AsiaAnother great meal at Asia de Cuba! Always enjoy the view of West LA from the top of Sunset Blvd! Mojito was outstanding and we can't go wrong with their chicken! The outdoor patio is really special with its huge tree planters.6/9/2013 12:00:00 AMFiesta de CevicheAsia de Cuba's menu might not be extensive, but their seafood options are out of this world, especially the ceviches. Just scrumptious. The octopus was the absolute best I've ever tasted, and my dining companion, who is vegetarian, enjoyed the plantain fried rice with avocado (delicious) and the fried tofu main course option (surprisingly tasty, given my usual lack of enthusiasm for tofu).
The service was unhurried, but professional and efficient, and we never felt rushed, even when we lingered at the end. The view was spectacular. We will definitely return.6/8/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfect Spot for Anniversary DinnerAll the elements of a perfect anniversary dinner -- amazing city views, scrumptious asian/cuban tapas, amazing cocktails -- in a swanky hotel. Only problem is that we were given "Remote" table in a corner. While it had wonderful views, we had to constantly flag down our waiter, bus boy, water server. Seems our waiter forgot about us! I even ordered their special Opera dessert with Happy Anniversary written on it at the beginning of our service, and was not told they were sold out of it until we had been sitting 15 minutes after the end of our meal. While the waiter tried to make up for the sold out dessert with a plate of indistinguishable cookies -- it was too little, too late. Meal started off wonderfully and ended very flat.6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing mealFirst we had not issue changing our reservation to a later time using opentable app. Awesome. We checked without a hitch and where seated within minutes at a great table next to window with view of the city lights. We started with a couple very tasty contails and ordered the Ropa Vieja Duck tacos as an appetizer, its a must. Also had the Calamari salad, don"t bother. Nice servings of both, so we decided to share the coffee encrusted rib eye, absolutely great and tasty. Variety of sides, we have Long bean with chicharon and the lobster mash potatoes, to die for. Must go , Must eat. Too full for desert.5/25/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat atmosphere and Food!Myself and three other girlfriends gathered here on a Friday night for a birthday celebration. The hostess was from Haiti and an absolute doll... engaging and helpful. We were offered a indoor or outdoor table and opted for a very nice booth indoors. The outdoor tables are excellent too, but we were feeling a bit chilly. Peter was our waiter and he didn't disappoint. He was charming, attentive and offered some great suggestions. Including the scallops, calamari salad, lobster, duck confite, Chilean Sea bass and the red snapper. You also must get the coconut sticky rice... Amazing! Great atmosphere, delicious food. I will be back.5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMFirst Dinner in LA.....was fantabulouse!!!
Thank u so much for the Welcome-to-LA-Rose-Champagne! ;-)

Sandra5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMMother's Day Without A Single SnagAsia de Cuba is by far one of my favorite restaurants in Los Angeles and they did not disappoint this visit. Took mom here to celebrate Mother's Day - she loved every second at our table window and every bite of our delicious meal. The sea bass is my go to, and we opted for that and the cod. You can never go wrong with the plaintain fried rice or the lobster mashed potatoes. I also wanted her to try the scallop appetizer dish, but they only come with two (there were three of us dining), and our server so graciously offered to add another to the order. Super impressed.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMGREAT FOOD - GREAT CHEFThe food was excellent. We were 7 (moms, sisters, kids) - had an early mother's day lunch on Saturday. The service was excellent. The Chef came out and greeted us! We had a great time and REALLY enjoyed the food! I definitely recommend this restaurant to others!5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMAdC - pick of the monthI been to AdC twice over a span of one month. Got the same waiter and he was absolutely great. The Octopus was awesome. My favorite dish. The spicy cocktail was great too.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMAmazing night. What an amazing night, as usual. Every aspect of our experience wad 5-star....from our pre-dinner drinks at SKYBAR, to them seting us at the perfect outdoor table, to the waiter, to the beautiful people. I booked the reservation for my best friend's birthday and everything was executed to perfection. I very much enjoyed the calamari salad the most. I would recommend arriving early before sunset and having a drink by the pool.4/1/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfect Brunch Spot TooOur group enjoyed Easter Brunch at Asia de Cuba. The food stations were unique -- yakitori, ceviche, sushi, dim sum -- and delicious. They had all the classic brunch fare as well, eggs, bacon, bagels, lox, etc. The space is beautiful with views of LA. Only complaint: no bottomless champagne. We'll be back.3/31/2013 12:00:00 AMOne of my all time favorites!!One of my all time favorites!! Great atmosphere- service and food! Despite the fact that the restaurant was packed and noisey, our table was quiet and provided us with a very romantic and accommodating environment. The food was absolutely spectacular and we couldn't have asked for kinder service. Highly recommend coming here for any occasion, but especially a special one. They know how to treat you right.3/9/2013 12:00:00 AMAsia de Cuba is simply oneAsia de Cuba is simply one of my very favorite restaurants in any city! I go each time I'm in LA and always choose the classics menu. I've taken many first timers and have ALWAYS gotten rave reviews from each attendee. It simply rocks!2/27/2013 12:00:00 AMUnforgettable and amazing! There is not a bad thing on this menu! Sample the octopus, lobster and hearts of palm or duck for starters. Never miss the miso black cod or the short ribs. And don't forget lobster mash! The service is friendly, prompt, attentive and passionate.12/5/2012 12:00:00 AM
