"We enjoyed the restaurant. Ours was a reunion and we were seated and serviced by a very attentive waitress. She took our orders and conveyed our special requests to the chef and everything was great. After our meal was finished we stayed on and caught up with our friends. They didn't try to hurry us out and even asked if we wanted more coffee,etc.
Everyone enjoyed it there and we will certainly go back again."

"We made an 11am reservation for lunch, hoping to finish up before the lunch crowd came in. In spite of the fact that 4 tables were filled with men eating, they told us their kitchen doesn't open until 11:30 so we should wait in the lobby of the hotel. I'll never go back."

"We (4) had an early lunch on a workday. Even as the restaurant filled up, we didn't have to alter our voices to be heard. The service was cordial and the food was served exactly as it was ordered, taking into account numerous adjustments we made to the stated dishes. Ashton Alley is a great find. We would gladly return soon for another meal."

"I ordered the Chicken Dijon, and besides being smothered in the Digon sauce, the meal itself was not too bad. My date, however, ordered the Penne pasta with cajun chicken. When the order first came out, it looked delicious, but it was missing the chicken. The server immediately noticed this and took it back to the kitchen to fix it. While gone, the waitress came by, noticed I had my dish but my date did not and asked. I explained and she just said, "wow, this kitchen, unreal". When the dish finally came out it looked very dry, and my date said she did not like it at all, she would have rather had it they way it came out without the chicken."

"What a great place to go after the St. Patrick's Day Parade which we marched in. The restaurant was full, not crazy with everyone enjoying great food & drink with a friendly staff. Weather permitted the doors to be open to the outdoor cafe. It was fabulous. Looking forward to next year."

"My filet mignon came out extremely dry even though it wasn't well done. The music in the background was fun to listen to. There was a basketball game (march madness) and diners one table were extremely loud. They should have been asked to be considerate. I would go back but not as my first dining location."

"I selfishly want to keep this gem secret lest seatings become more difficult to come by but I can't help but gush. We stumbled in here for Sunday brunch for variation's sake and are now hooked; 4 weeks in a row! Service is impeccable. We are always seated at the best available table for two. Wait staff is friendly and attentive, great at anticipating your needs but not instrusive. Menus selection is varied enough even for my finicky palate. Food is so good, it's difficult to change my original selection to try delights I've seen on other plates. Several large screen tv's tuned at an appropriate level to enjoy but also maintain comfortable conversation. Ambiance is comfortably posh. Clientele is good mix of groups, couple & families."

"Unhappy with the original bartender as she was more interested in her iphone and chatting with other staff members. We had more interaction with the bartenders that were not serving us. Will return, as they have the strawberry & lime cider I enjoy."
