After checking their website I made the reservation and took 3 friends with my wife and I. What a special eveing, the off menu specials and each item on the menu all appealed to us - unfortunately we cannot eat them all. The food was served in a most appetizing way and just literally each bite was a special "moment in time". It was simply wonderful, the food inspired and the service impeccable. We hope they keep the just from the oven brioche on the menu. The Pavlova was amazing and topped off a perfect evening. They have achieved a fine balance between tradition and modern; adding new menu items and the willingness to keep the best of the best. Set in an old, well mainatined hotel, the dining room is spectacular. Thier coconut Thai soup was unusal and outstanding.

The service was excellent, the food outstanding and the price is significantly lower than NY or Chi. The staff went above and beyond our expectations and made us feel special. The food was AMAZING, 3 courses that were divine, starting with Gulf Shrimp and Grits followed by a main course of Pecan-Crusted Catfish and ending with Bananas Foster that was absolutely sinful. The service was top-notch, Annie took great care of us. We hope to make it in again soon.
