  • "Mussels where great very different highly recemended"

  • "Great lobster bisque and beautifully presented salad. We both has seafood (barrumundi and wolffish), followed by the lemon cake and cannoli, all good. It is BYOB, so bring a bottle to accompany your meal. Parking can require patience as we arrived when parents were picking up their children from The dance studio, using restaurant parking. A pleasant dining experience."

  • "As always, the service, food and its presentation are always excellent and the other night was no exception. The midweek 3 courses for $30 is excellent! There are quite a few choices in each category to please everyone's tastes."

  • "The dishes are creative and expertly prepared. Just the right amount of delicate crisping on the pork belly and the scallops. Relaxed and unrushed atmosphere. A very special meal"

  • "The food is vastly overpriced. The restaurant is in a strip center with windows overlooking parking spaces. The food itself was good but no better than other Italian restaurants we had visited. Everything is extra- soup, salad, any sides. The portions were small even for my wife who is a light eater."

  • "This neighborhood gem is the perfect place for a creative meal with an Italian flair. The food choices make it hard to pick just one and their weekly menu of 3 for $30 you can't go wrong. The food portions are great and the specials are fantastic. I travel to this area several times a month and have made this restaurant my must go stop. If it wasn't for open table I am not sure I would of found this gem. The staff is fantastic making sure you are pleased with everything that is presented to you......shout out to Kelly and Paul who I am happy to be my servers almost every time. They know the menu and will always give you great suggestion to satisfy your hunger. Great place, great food and great customer service!!!"

  • "We brought our friends from North Carolina to Arugula for dinner the other night. My daughter's bridal shower was held there and it was amazing so I wanted to share with our friend who couldn't make it. She loved the atmosphere and the food. As luck would have our server was also working the shower! They can't do enough for you. The food is always wonderful. We just Arugula."

  • "This restaurant was suggested to me by a friend. It was absolutely amazing. Service was great. Food was amazing. If you have food allergies (i.e. Gluten), the chef will work with you and create a delicious meal. Would highly recommend this restaurant and cannot wait to return! Also, it's a BYOB so bring wine!"

  • "Went for South Jersey restaurant week. Portions and selections were great along with the food. The best part however was our service which was outstanding. Angelo was attentive and the perfect server! No one could have been better. Love this restaurant. Tip - book way in advance, reservations are difficult to come by unless you book at least a week or two in advance, especially for the weekend."

  • "Restaurant Week menu was excellent. Nice presentation. Portions were larger than other Restaurant Week restaurants. Service by Paul was exceptional. Been here several times and have always had a great experience."

  • "My fiancé and I had a wonderful experience at Arugula. I had been there once before, but this was his first time. Surprisingly, when we arrived for our reservation we realized it was restaurant week. We did have a slight wait for our table, but the hostess brought out wine glasses so that we could open our wine and have a glass while we waited. The food, as always, was incredible. We were so full that we took our dessert home to enjoy later! Our waitress Kelly was incredible and extremely pleasant. We cannot wait for our next visit!"

  • "I've been to Arugula twice, once on a regular date with my boyfriend and once on a double date. It's the perfect atmosphere - lively and fun, but with delicious food. It's a great find!"

  • "Al;though we have been to Arugula many times, it was the first time we brought close friends with us. It was wonderful and because they loved it so much, we have booked another dinner with out of town friends for the end of March. The lobster bisque was especially notable and piping hot when served. Our server was such a pleasure that we've asked for her again when we return. EVery member of our party, one gluten free, raved about their entree. We are so pleased to have this BYOB gem in our neighborhood. The one drawback is the noise level. On a Saturday night with all tables full, it is hard to have a conversation without speaking loudly."

  • "Everyone was very happy with the food. Our server was very good and we did not feel that we waited for anything...eleven though every table was full. The noise level is very high...so do not go there expecting a quiet romantic dinner. Go there for a good food and nice presentation. Would definitely go there again. I have never seen jumbo lump crabmeat as large as the crabmeat that was on my veal dish. Also, the lobster bisque was excellent and the sauces are good. There were 4 in our party....we all ordered different dishes with different sauces and they were all very good. I would recommend this neighborhood restaurant to anyone that enjoys good food and does not mind bringing their own wine."

  • "I pass this restaurant every day and I am sorry that I did not try it earlier. This is a neighbor gem. Everything from appetizers to entrees were great. Best veal meatballs I ever had. There were 6 of us and we all cleaned our plates"

  • "The food was elegantly displayed, and tasted fantastic. The fact that it's byob makes the pricing more acceptable."

  • "Great meal on Friday night with our wonderful daughter home for the weekend! Outstanding food as usual....the veal meatball appetizer was interesting & excellent. Entrees of filet w gorgonzola, scallops w risotto and salmon all received high praise. Food here is consistently excellent. Service is a little uneven and the noise level can be high. But if you are looking for excellent food that is more interesting than most spots in the area, consider Arugula. The fact that this is BYOB improves the value of the experience."

  • "I have loved this place from the very first time I was taken there as a guest. The food is always delectable. The service is fabulous. I have come back time after time with friends and family. I always recommend it to others."

  • "It was only my 2nd time there, but it was like I never left the waiter remembered my wife and I, which is always nice we were with another couple and it was their first time there they thoroughly enjoyed it. Food was great as usual. Service is top shelf no doubt about it."

  • "The night we went it was a little cold and the inside of the resturant wasn't much warmer."

  • "This is truly a hidden gem of a restaurant. One would never assume that tucked inside a bland looking strip mall would be a really great dining experience. The interior is very artsy with purple and green décor, lighted stars hanging from an open ceiling, and unusual mirrors and wall art that begin a general conversation about how "neat" this place is. But the main star is the food. We all had the lobster bisque with large chunks of lobster meat. It was excellent! The arugula salad was a generous size and filled with dried cranberries, glazed walnuts, and gorgonzola cheese. Very good as well. Our fillet minion was fantastic, and the salmon was another hit. No room for dessert. Overall, a little pricey, but well worth every penny."

  • "I've been to Arugula numerous times and always find the food and it's presentation outstanding. I was not disappointed on my recent trip there. The Chicken Stefano was incredible. Service is always great."

  • "The food tasted great, but the prices were a little high. The service was good, but the waiter could have been more approachable. I'm glad I tried the restaurant, but nothing stood out to me. I probably would not go back."
    Dined on 2/23/2014
  • "This is based on a few experiences. This restaurant is usually crowded, and unfortunately they never handle it well. You have to wait well past your reservation time and the hostesses are not very friendly. The service is average. Our food has been a mix of good and bad. Not the consistency you'd expect from a place that charges as much as this one does. For example, we ordered Calamari and it was mostly peppers and tentacles. I ordered Capellini and it was extremely salty. So much so that my mouth was tingling. I should have sent it back. My wife's dish was good, so again inconsistent. Overall it's just not worth the hassle for a hit or miss meal that ends up costing approximately $100 dollars or more."

  • "I have been coming to Arugula ever since it opened! It is a great little BYOB! The service is phenomenal and the food never disappoints. It's Italian but its things you have never had before. Such a great flare! Super romantic! Love it!"
