The service was attentive without being intrusive. The food was excellent, and the portions were just right (not the huge portions that seem to be the rule at many Italian restaurants). The eggplant parmesan appetizer NEVER fails to please, with lots of bread to sop up the sauce. Garlic bread is good, too, but i prefer the soft regular slices. The Mediterranean seabass was prepared (and filleted) perfectly, with delicious vegetables on the side. One of our party of four was very specific that no mushrooms should accompany her main course, she even had a back and forth discussion with our waiter about it, but when the dish came, the mushrooms were there. The food server - not our waiter - consulted the order slip on the tray and commented that the waiter apparently had not made the note on the original ticket. Canoli flown in from NY is the best I've ever had. This place was recommended by foodie friends and they were spot-on.
