Very nice interior, although booth benches were a little uncomfortable. Food was delicious, although the kitchen is either slow or was backed up that night. For appetizers, bruschetta was lovely and the meatballs impossibly tender. Chicken parm was perfect, as was the gnocchi, but the seafood peppardelle special was a little bland. For dessert, the tiramisu was a little too wet, but the flourless chocolate cake was perfectly moist and fudgey for a dessert that most places make too dry.

Yhe food was good, but we had issues with seating. When we arrived, the restaurant was half empty but we were told we had to wait. Three groups arrived after us and were seated. Then suddenly I]was asked if we could be helped and I said that we were waiting for a reserved table. When I inquired about the people who had been seated, I was told that they had reservations. DO DID WE! Only then were we seated.

Delicious! Great, vibrant red sauce, excellent meatballs (thanks Phantom!). We sampled classics (veal parm, pizza, chicken marsala, spag & meatballs) and enjoyed all! Our only disappointment was NO garlic bread, which really belonged with this meal! Friendly staff. Lovely interior, which is a surprising delight since the restaurant is in a small strip mall and hardly looks inviting from the outside.

Had dinner at a high top table in the bar area Sat night in early March after having eaten there the week before. Can't say eoungh good things about the attentive wait staff even though the restaurant and bar area were completely full, and the fine dining quality of the appetizers and entrees (and also the drinks---GREAT HENDRICKS MARTINI!). I ordered the lobster papardella, a special. Fantastic, couldn't believe the size of the fully shelled lobster perfectly steamed and the delicious combination of artichokes, tomatoes and papardelle. I could easily have taken half home, but it was so good I ate it all {hello treadmill). This is Metrowest dining at its best!

Arrived at 6pm and were seated immediately, in a booth which we had requested. Waitress was "out there" crazy. We had come for a romantic dinner but that did not happen. Food was barely warm, which was too bad because it tasted good. Not what we expected.

I keep going back for the Eggplant Florentine(basically eggplant parm with spinach). It is amaaaaazing!! Service is never bad but I can't say it's ever been really good either. This particular visit she brought the wrong glass of wine after writing it down and then took a while to get the right one. Nothing major but little mistakes that add up can get annoying. Management almost always comes to the table which is a plus! Definitely a good restaurant but the service needs a little improvement!

We went on a Saturday nite. Excellent service, including the host and all wait staff. We had reservations and were seated immediately. The ambience was warm and very nice. The food was fair, mainly because our orders came with an over-abundance of sauce. I recommend that when ordering, request "light on the sauce", as the food underneath was actually very good.

The food was great and moderately priced. We had a last minute plan to go out to eat and were able to secure a reservation at Arturo's via OpenTable. For the night before Valentine's weekend, we were quite lucky to get the reservation and we had a great time at Arturo's. The food was great, the waitress was wonderful and the wine was delicious. We'll definitely have to go back again.

Two parts to this dining story. Initially we were seated in their back room - center with a large birthday party off to one side and another large group complete with crying kid to the other. That room was too bright and wasn't what we'd come to love about Arturos. We asked to be moved when another table in that room opened up and were pleases when not only did the hostess move us but she managed to get us a booth in the more desireable dining room. Food is always excellent here however my wife's tuna was a bit underdone. We will of course come back - this was the only slightly off dining experience we'd had here in at least 6 outings. And A+ to the blonde hostess for the assist.

    OpenTable Diner Since 2006
    Dined on 1/1/2011
I'll start off with a positive - the entrees were good - the two dishes my friend & I had - the lobster ravioli and the tenderloin were good. The cesaer salad was mediocre. The desserts were fine. I always read reviews before venturing off to a restaurant I haven't dined at and I noticed the mixed bag of reviews. Overall the meal was overpriced for two - over $90 with one drink each. The ambiance/decor is terrible - they need to redo the whole place - the whole set up is tacky and dated. The food was decent but way too expensive for the casual place that it really is. Too many other nice restaurants in the area I'd rather go. It might be more reasonable for a lunch but given the negatives, but I don't see a reason to return.....

  • Arturo's in Westborough continues
    OpenTable Diner Since 2007

Arturo's in Westborough continues to provide consistently good service, good food in a comfortable Metrowest dining setting. Following an email promoting their New Years Eve specials; Duck, Lobster, Filet Mignon - my wife, son home from college and I decide to dine out for NewYears Eve rather than stay in and lay low. All in all, we had a pleasant dining experience as food was enjoyed by all and the pace and vibe of the evening was just right for what we were looking for. Arturo's often works for us as an informal night out for good food, a glass of wine, and pleasant service and surroundings, however if your looking for a more elegant or special foodie night out; we still prefer the many offerings in Boston if you're up to drive

We have never been disappointed at Aturo's. Being a descendent of a long line of Italian cooks I am very picky about the cuisine. Love it at Aturo's. We always feel like it is a celebration when we dine there. To have the propritor inquire as to our satisfaction on such a busy evening as New Year's Eve is a testatment to the concern for detail in customer satisfaction. Bravo, Aturo's! We will be back soon.

We have found over the years that Arturo's has had very good food. New Year's Eve 2010 had the same level of food, and unlike some other restaurants, Arturo's did not have a restricted/reduced menu for the holiday. In fact, Arturo's also had several specials just for the holiday.

    OpenTable Diner Since 2009

I'd hosted my staff's Holiday Dinner at Arturo's. Although the group was small, only 7 people, and there was a larger party that evening, we felt as though we had the place to ourselves. The staff was fantastic, making certain everyone was well taken care of, and the food was, as always, exceptional. The Chicken Parm was out of this world (my usual dish), and the steak was said to be one of the best ever had. Entree portions will not leave you hungry. I've honestly never been dissapointed with any dish from Arturo's. Desserts were a decadent delight - if they have the Carrot Cake you have to try it. Dessert portions are probably right sized after the dinner. I would recommend Arturo's as the best Italian in the MetroWest.

Arrived early, and seated! Prompt attention and although we had only entrees and salads, very good food. Our only objection was the noise level. It was difficult to talk because it was so noisy. We didn't linger over dessert and/or tea/coffee for that reason as well. Suspect part of the noise factor is the time of year - loads of folks eating out and celebrating together.
