Happy to see a new place in town. My single lunch with friends was very pleasant and I was thrilled to find out we could open a real working window on an unseasonably warm fall day. i was far less thrilled by the landscaping crew that was running a couple of very irritating (the only kind) and loud (the only kind) of leaf blowers around the terrace and parking lot of the restaurant, right outside our window. This didn't last for long but 20 seconds is too long for me...Need those seats at the lovely zinc bar else who will come? I wish this new spot a warm welcome and much good luck. Hope to be back for dinner. My luncheon quiche was excellent, in a world of mediocre (and worse) quiche. The hummus might have been just a tiny bit 'off'

The dining room was fabulous. Very elegant with plenty of room between tables allowing for quiet conversation. The wait staff was comfortable and attentive. The salad was great, however the main dishes lack flavor. Desserts a bit too filling. No offering of a small bit to top it off.

What can I say . . . Artistry on the Green does wonders with farm to table and the seasonal changes to the menu are a very special treat - if you haven't stopped by yet, this is a "must" - great food, great ambience, attentive but not overly so wait staff.

We live very close to this restaurant and so were eager to find out what it was like. My wife and I had a very nice meal, enjoying everything we tried. We particularly like the chocolate pave dessert. My wife also really like the summer squash soup (if I'm remembering correctly). The only mild complaint: The chairs are uncushioned metal and my rear end was pretty worn down by the end of the meal! I hope the owners will add some cushioning for us wimps!

Lovely setting within easy walking distance of Lexington Green. We had Sunday Brunch and our food was cold the first time it was delivered to the table and barely lukewarm on the second. The staff were thoroughly apologetic and highly attentive to our needs but I feel we did not see the restaurant at its best.

The Inn at Hastings Park is truly a special place and Artistry on the Green is cherry on top! Their bar and dining room are gorgeous and the food is outstanding. Chef Matt Molloy has put together an amazing seasonal menu that highlights local fresh ingredients. He has several inventive dishes as well as the required New England/American staples that are all executed perfectly. This place is truly special for either a romantic evening or fabulous brunch. Cannot wait to go back!

Fantastic spot, beautiful building, but it feels held back. Great menu but small portions;there was not much filling in by Buckwheat crepe even though it was made well. I think the NIMBY neighbors did a real disservice to this wonderful establishment. I will go back often.

We had a lovely lunch in honor of my mother's birthday. The food was generally good, though the quiche was disappointing. The clam chowder had wonderful flavor and the salads were unusually good. A children's menu would be a good addition. The decor is a bit drab, especially on a rainy day. The service was cheerful, but occasionally slow and there were moments when no staff were on the floor. The accessibility is excellent and much appreciated. Overall, a nice lunch out that felt like an outing without getting too far from town.

Great food, but slow service and stodgy ambiance. We wondered who are the target patrons: older retirees or a larger cross section of people who might provide more energy and fun ? Small changes in decor aimed at comfort rather than straight-back wooden chairs and starched tablecloths might be a good start toward creating greater interest and attraction. Our waitress was great, but very slow and inefficient ( short staffed that evening ?) which created some disappointment in what was otherwise a much anticipated dinner.

Food was good, setting is lovely, but very noisy -needs more soft furnishing to dampen. Second time at restaurant, first time was very noisy but food was great. This time we had to wait 30 mins for table (party of 8), despite having reservation and there is no bar area to have cocktail. Service okay but slow.

We went to Artistry on the Green for our anniversary and loved it. The staff seated us at an intimate table and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious and inventive, and our waitress' recommendations were great. At the end of the meal, they put a candle in the dessert to wish us a happy anniversary and gave us a card with the entire staff's signatures. We will definitely be going back, special occasion or not.

The dining room was nicely modulated for sound; despite the large room and the wood floors, the ownership has done a great job of not making the sound (and the sound system) too loud. I know this is a strange compliment to lead off with, but with restaurant noise-levels reaching higher and higher its refreshing. The food was excellent; seasonal and local. Our service was excellent as well, with a server who demonstrated knowledge and comfort with the menu as well as the wine list.

We showed up on Sunday night after a movie in Burlington. It was a rainy night. In addition to my girlfriend and me, there were only two tables filled. Our server was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable and he presented each dish with aplomb. The food was delicious, as was dessert. My plan is to go back for a delicious breakfast or brunch. The dining room is quite lovely.

We dined at Artistry on the Green with our parents to celebrate their wedding anniversaries. What a joy to now have a Lexington option for special occasions. The dining room is designed to soften noise and we could hear each other. The service was excellent and unobtrusive. Went for lunch and ordered from the Dine Out Boston menu. Chowder app was tasty, fresh; chick pea fritters were average. Croque Monsieur was also tasty but average. The salad and potato frites were both good - the frites especially were delicious. The mozzarella was dry with not that much flavor. Perhaps the "fresh, handmade" cheese was allowed to dry too much. The service was particularly slow. It took some time for the apps to arrive (20 mins) and the entrees several minutes after that. Sandwiches should not take an hour, even if the restaurant was jammed, which it was not. Deserts again came out several minutes after the sandwiches and were OK. The lunch was one and 3/4 hours. This would be difficult for a working lunch hour.

It is a real pleasure to eat in Artistry which is in a magnificent new inn in one of the most historic towns in our country. The owners have created the most beautiful, pristine atmosphere where you can happily meet friends for lunch and eat well prepared, special dishes at a very reasonable price. I've not eaten there for dinner but have been told that although prices are considerably higher, the menu does not disappoint. No matter what, this restaurant is unique and memorable.

Very impressive food!!!..can immediately taste the freshness, homemade bread, vegetables prepared to perfection.. My husband had bluefish light,moist..sauce ingredients fresh and light. I highly recommend the panna cotta.. I lived in Europe for years and this is the first panna cotta I have had in USA that equals my experience in Italy and Switzerland. The Yankee Pot Roast was absolutely yummy..meat tender, vegetables farm fresh and tasty! The service was kind and attentive. This is a real jewel! I had also come here for breakfast and lunch..the food has been equally superb.

Was looking forward to a new restaurant in Lexington. Unfortunately, this one doesn't do it. First, the table was covered by a wet tablecloth - this was explained as necessary - a spray bottle was used to get out the wrinkles. Could not rest my arms on the table without feeling the cold and damp. The gazpacho soup was good, a little mild, but the corn garnish was nice. I love pot roast, but this slab - it was a slab - was not adequately infused with flavor, had a lot of fat and was tough. The root vegetables were sparse. A lovely nectarine dessert, but did not make up for the entree. The restaurant week offered only several dollars savings over ordering the individual servings ala carte. Sorry, but ....

Enjoyed the dining room layout and staff very friendly and competent. Two of us ordered from the Dine Out Boston menu and tried some new menu additions. Vegetable risotto needed more overall flavor, pot roast delicious (with somewhat bland potato puree), good cocktails. Would try again for brunch or a regular menu dinner.
