  • "Very impressive food!!!..can immediately taste the freshness, homemade bread, vegetables prepared to perfection.. My husband had bluefish light,moist..sauce ingredients fresh and light. I highly recommend the panna cotta.. I lived in Europe for years and this is the first panna cotta I have had in USA that equals my experience in Italy and Switzerland. The Yankee Pot Roast was absolutely yummy..meat tender, vegetables farm fresh and tasty! The service was kind and attentive. This is a real jewel! I had also come here for breakfast and lunch..the food has been equally superb."

  • "Was looking forward to a new restaurant in Lexington. Unfortunately, this one doesn't do it. First, the table was covered by a wet tablecloth - this was explained as necessary - a spray bottle was used to get out the wrinkles. Could not rest my arms on the table without feeling the cold and damp. The gazpacho soup was good, a little mild, but the corn garnish was nice. I love pot roast, but this slab - it was a slab - was not adequately infused with flavor, had a lot of fat and was tough. The root vegetables were sparse. A lovely nectarine dessert, but did not make up for the entree. The restaurant week offered only several dollars savings over ordering the individual servings ala carte. Sorry, but ...."

  • "Enjoyed the dining room layout and staff very friendly and competent. Two of us ordered from the Dine Out Boston menu and tried some new menu additions. Vegetable risotto needed more overall flavor, pot roast delicious (with somewhat bland potato puree), good cocktails. Would try again for brunch or a regular menu dinner."

  • "Expensive and vegetarian options were not very tasty."

  • "Artistry is a terrific addition to the Lexington-Concord restaurant scene. Attractive and stylish room, very good service and most importantly beautifully prepared and executed food. Parking is tight but that is the only issue. We will go back."

  • "I had lunch at Artistry On the Green with two friends and we enjoyed it very much. The dining room is beautifully designed in soft shades of grey. The fireplace lends a cozy note to the room. Far more sophisticated than I anticipated. The service was welcoming and professional. We ordered the clam chowder, quiche and the lobster cobb salad. Everything was delicious and nicely presented. I look forward to returning for dinner. Overall, a very pleasant place to dine!"

  • "We went here for our anniversary dinner and had a wonderful meal in a very nice setting. The wine list is excellent, with something for everyone. The food was great, and the servers and chef accommodated our food allergies very well. Overall a great addition to the Lexington restaurant scene."

  • "Had breakfast at this Inn restaurant. Aside from the food being excellent , the service and hospitality was superb. The Inn itself is beautiful and charming and the staff is gracious. Next visit will be to stay and dine at the Inn."

  • "We (two of us) had a very nice experience. There was some confusion about where to park, which could have been avoided. The wait staff was very knowledgable and the per-glass wines were excellent. They have some unusual wines that are extremely nice. Food was good but not extraordinary."

  • "Artistry on the Green is an unpretentious restaurant in an updated New England Inn. Who knew such a restaurant even existed in the Lexington Inn. Excellent food, attentive service. The menu lists all the local places Artistry sources their food. The decor is simple and pleasing. Personally, it's a bit on the expensive side for it to be our weekly night out, but perfect for a bi-monthly or monthly treat, and especially for social outings, and special occasions. We discovered it when a friend brought us to Artistry on a weekend, and we thought it was so nice that we brought friends on a weeknight just to see if there was any difference between weekend and weekday....no difference, still great food and service."

  • "We have eaten here several times now and it is always a treat. Best dinning in Lexington IMHO.brunch and dinner are both excellent. While it isn't inexpensive, it is a bargain price for the level of food."

  • "Once again we had a wonderful evening at Artistry. We brought some friends for their first time and they can't wait to return- even though they live an hour away. Thanks again Artistry for great dining experience."

  • "This is clearly a new establishment set in an older house near Lexington center. The renovation reflects a sense of style that compliments the architecture and the neighborhood. Before we even entered the restaurant we were greeted with a smile; warmth and attentiveness characterized all our dealings with the staff. They took and served our orders graciously and promptly. Our salads were fresh and not over-dressed. My fish tasted fresh and light, with a flavorful and artistic accompaniment of vegetables. The prices were competitive, given the quality and creativity of the menu. My only quibble would be with the ambient noise level as the dining room started to fill: it was hard to conduct a conversation with two soft-spoken seniors."

  • "Artistry on the Green is a great, convenient new alternative for dining in Lexington. Every item we ordered was clearly made with very fresh ingredients and prepared with extreme care and in an appealing manner. The quality and taste of each item, from the warm, fresh bread, to the appetizers, entrees and desert were excellent. We highly recommend the pot roast and scallops as well as the potato au gratin side dish and the nectarine crisp for desert. We'll definitely be returning soon and frequently."

  • "Some of the food was delicious, some nearly inedible. Started off with slow service, took forever to get our drinks. Starters (Caesar salads and charcuterie plate) were good (nothing special). On the plus side, the duck and the scallop mains were very good. Well cooked and delicious. However, the chicken was so dry as to be nearly inedible. Not sure we will be back. My husband insisted we go out for ice cream following the dinner to get the bad taste of his meal out of his mouth. (He had the chicken)."

  • "It was to find Artistry on the Green in Lexington. It is clearly the best restaurant in the town. The food was outstanding and the price was moderate. It was a real find and we shall for sure be back. We started with the clam chowder. It was excellent and much better the Legal Seafood whose chowder I have long enjoyed."

  • "The lunch menu was limited and there were not many gluten free options. The Caesar chicken salad was disappointing. There was a huge about of chicken on the salad but it was not tender or tasty. After reading so much hype about this place, I expected better food."

  • "Second time for dinner. Food is outstanding in quality, taste and presentation. The service seems to be a little scattered at times. On both occasions we were seated with menus and left waiting for 15-20 minutes before a drink order was placed. Would prefer to be offered a cocktail while we glance over the menu. Couldn't seem to get much info from our waiter in terms of menu recommendations. He was very pleasant and attentive when he was at the table but seemed to be MIA at times. I think an issue is the summer help has just started and the kids are still training. I would HIGHLy recommend this restaurant. The GM is there overseeing it all and appears to be quite involved in making it all run smoothly."

  • "We enjoyed our dinner this time as much as on our first visit. The duck is outstanding and my companions enjoyed their scallops and sea bass just as much. Service is impeccable....not intrusive, but definitely attentive. First class all the way. Can't wait to go back! I keep recommending it to friends."

  • "This was our first visit and we were very pleased with our waiter Peter. He know the menu and gave fantastic recommendations. He made my wife's birthday with his attention to detail. The food was wonderful and the dinning area has a nice feel to it. We will return for another dinning experience."

  • "We had lunch at Artistry On the Green, and based on that experience, will likely return for dinner. The lunch menu is limited, but varied enough to accommodate dietary needs and offer delicious options. Our party of three ordered different meals, and all were winners. The quiche was exceptional, as was the veggie burger (of the many versions of this offering I've had, this one was heavy on farro, a nice touch, and accompanied by tzatziki, which paired well), and the club sandwich was another great choice. The accompanying salads were delicious! The room can be quite noisy, a drawback for easy conversation. And the waitstaff seemed a bit untrained and overly eager, but that beats lack of attention."

  • "The chef at this new elegant restaurant has put a delicious new spin on traditional dishes, which echos the contemporary decor in the traditional and comfortable dining room and inn. Most ingredients are locally sourced and listed at the bottom of the menu. I had the lobster cobb salad with ample lobster and a very fresh tasting dressing. My guests had the burger on a brioche bun and commented how flavorful the beef was and perfectly cooked. There were other items of interest to us on the menu so we intend to go back soon. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even bringing a birthday card to my mother, whose birthday we were celebrating. The prices are surprisingly reasonable for such a special place."

  • "Artistry on the Green opened a few months ago on April 1st, but this restaurant is no joke. Terrific and creative food (spinach and ricotta wrapped cannelloni-style in onions, a warm nectarine crisp), great service, and a modern-colonial atmosphere will be sure to delight!"

  • "We had a lovely birthday dinner here for Mom; the super-friendly staff were happy to seat us early for our reservation. The food was great (I had a watercress vichyssoise to start, followed by the perfectly seared scallops - both were delicious). The cocktails were inventive and their flavors well-balanced. Our server even surprised us at the end with a card for my mom! I can't wait to go back."

  • "Nice relaxed atmosphere in the dining room with plenty of room between the tables - I don't always want the "buzz" that goes along with a crowded restaurant. Food was fresh and well prepared and the service (and meal pace) were excellent. So happy to have another quality food offering in the suburbs. The cocktails are creative but may be trying too hard - my wife had to send hers back but they gladly exchanged it."

  • "You could not ask for a prettier, more reasonable, unique place to meet friends or celebrate special occasions. What an outstanding job these people have done to present lucky Lexington... and others who find out about it... with a setting so perfect. The menu, while limited, is well chosen and the dishes quite tasty. And the ambiance cannot be beat."

  • "Artistry is an elegant restaurant in the heart of historic Lexington. the food is excellent and the service as well. Parking is easy. OUr only disappointment is the noise level which, for our purpose, is too high. If this were not the cse we would give it all fice stars. We will, however return for the food and atmosphere."

  • "Food is of very high quality; the inn recently underwent extensive renovation. The decorations, finishes, lighting, drapes are artfully done. Service comfortable, competent, and friendly. Unusual quality for Boston suburbs, the menu prices are reasonable, considering the memorable food, and are less than in-city restaurant prices. We hope to retrun soon"

  • "Group of 6 several very disappointed. Smallish Omelets had nothing extra on the plate. Had to ask for toast and then jelly etc. waiter, Lincoln needs training. Did not come back to offer coffee refills. Enjoyed the Quiche with accompanying salad."

  • "First rate food at reasonable prices and sophisticated and comfortable setting. A little on the quiet side if you are looking for something with "vibe" but still an overall great experience. Service was superb"

  • "You will forget you are in Lexington. The menu is diverse sourcing local farms and the food certainly delivers. It just kept getting better with each course. The decor is lovely and you are at ease the minute you arrive. A lovely balance of luxurious food in a comfortable setting. The staff is full of smiles and happy to accommodate you."

  • "Could not have been more pleased with food and overall experience. Our party had the duck, scallops and the steak entrees. Perfectly cooked. Salad was fresh and flavorful. We split a chocolate hazelnut dessert and it was wonderful. Great way to end our visit to Lexington."

  • "Our first time at this restaurant. Very attractive complex of buildings, restaurant interior also very attractive. Noise level a definite negative. No gluten-free menu and very little accommodation for diners who are gluten-intolerant. Cocktails/wine excellent. Waitperson quite friendly but a bit distracted - only gluten-free dessert available was ice cream and I ordered it with caramel sauce. It came without the sauce. Despite caveats, we are intrigued enough to try it again, but if the noise level hasn't improved by then, that might be the last time."

  • "I had the pleasure of enjoying this wonderful restaurant twice in one weekend. First, Friday around noon for lunch. Terrific experience, everything was fine, location, parking, service, food, pricing. The following Sunday for Brunch. Once again...an all-around delightful experience. I will return soon!"
