Not a great title but, Artisan is sublime. The service is always good, quiet, efficient yet knowledgable. The Seared Scallops were crisp and delicate while the duck was smokey and savory. I highly recommend their Vesper. It is a quaint and lower tone place but can get raucous during their winemaker dinners. Definitely check it out!

We have been here many times for lunch and dinner and have always had a good meal. We went for brunch for the first time and was disappointed. The selection of entrees were good but our food was tepid at best. The Hollandaise sauce on the eggs benedict was actually cold and the potatoes were just barely warm. Would not recommend for brunch.

Artisan Bistro has amazing food, ambiance, and service; but so do many place. What set Artisan apart thus night was a bottle of wine we brought, (yes, you are allowed to bring your own wine). Our waiter came to open our wine table side and kept incredible patience and a sense of humor about a cork that refused to cooperate, it would crumble bit by bit - through it all our waiter kept calm, cracked jokes, and disappeared for only a moment to resolve the situation. That to me outstanding service under fire, and was greatly appreciated. It was the cherry of a moment on top of an amazing dinner

The food at this resturant is amazing. Definitely outstanding. But the waitress was obtrusive, demanding we order sides and wine. The room was also quite cold, as a result the food got cold before we could finish eating. Really a shame as it was delicious warm.

My husband and I go to Artisan Bistro for special occasions and sometimes just to have a nice lunch during the week. We love their three course meal selection for $30. I had salmon as part of my selection and it was perfect. I highly recommend this place for couples to have lunch. Not sure it would be a place for young children. Older well behaved children might enjoy it.

This is our go-to spot for a special meal when we want to stay local. Our last visit was for their Sunday night prix fixe dinner. The prix is right at $60 for three courses AND it includes wine parings with each course. The mixed drinks from the bar are excellent, too. The soups we have had are deconstructed, like onion. Different and very flavorful. Their fish is always perfectly prepared. The bacon wrapped duck breast is outstanding. While we usually try to dodge desserts (calories), we seem to always make an exception at Artisan Bistro. We had killer poached pear and a bread pudding the last time. Service has always been great with knowledgable and fun wait staff.

A great way to start, have a high point, or nice end to your week . A treat for lunch. Wonderful attentive service , quality well prepared food served in a lovely presentation in a pretty bright and cozy atmosphere. The regular menu has great choices, but the prix fixe is a real deal. The salmon in lentils with lemon butter wine sauce was devine. Excellent wines offered.

    Dined on 10/12/2014
This little house has incredibly good, fine food. The descriptions don't beguile, so the surprise is in the meticulous execution and spectacular flavor. There is clearly a genius in the kitchen. The inside is cozy on a cold day, the outside is welcoming on a warm evening. The busser gets extra points for attentive yet unobtrusive table management. A couple of small gripes, ignorable at a neighborhood spot but amplified here by the prices. A bit more spent on outdoor chairs, steak knives, etc. would go a long way. But the server is quick to correct missteps, and the food, oh the food! and atmosphere are lovely.

I really liked the neighborhood that this small restaurant was in. The place itself looks like a home that was converted into a restaurant. It was hot outside when me and the family went, so we took advantage of the beautiful back patio. The food was great! I had the John Dory (white fish) and my wife had the Pork Loin & Pork Belly Duo. We just had the server bring extra plates and we split everything, including the appetizers. I would definitely go back. Didn't get a chance to try the cocktails, though, they looked and sounded very nice.

Celebrated our anniversary and again had a wonderful dinner. We had complimentary glasses of champagne and a delicious bread pudding dessert. The two entrees were both outstanding - scallops (large) and New York steak. The French fries were perfect as always and the beet salad was tasty. Service was excellent and friendly. This is our go-to restaurant for celebrations as the food and overall dining experience is always great.

We have picked this restaurant for the convenience - it was close to the hotel we stayed in, and for our friends to drive to. We sat inside as it was a bit too fresh and windy to sit on a terrace. But inside it was also good, very cozy and small. Food was good and presented very well, but overpriced in our opinion. Good service, friendly staff.

The Thursday night tasting menu was fantastic. The menu itself was carefully conceived with both unusual and local seasonal ingredients. My 2 favorites were the octopus, tender and well seasoned, and the two large scallops on green lentils al dente. Both were perfectly prepared. The service was attentive and well timed. We had a wonderful evening!!

I had lunch at the Artisan Bistro recently, and the whole experience was just perfect. I went with two friends, and the lunch was a send-off to a friend who has retired and is moving away from the area. We sat outside under a shade tree and it was lovely, as it was quite a warm day. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. And, the food was spectacular; we all enjoyed every morsel on our plates. Two of us had the halibut fish tacos, and they were excellent. They had the beet salad, and I had the sunchoke soup, all of which were wonderful as well. I was the one who had recommended the place, as I had eaten there once before; my friends we overjoyed at the choice as well.

Perfect, perfect, perfect. We took our own bottle of champagne (waived the corkage fee) and had a great evening!! Our server was an expert on all the menu items. He paired us up nicely with our champagne. The atmosphere was quiet (Tuesday Night) with background music. The GM was an excellent host. Being a small restaurant, servers, bussers, and bar really pay attention to detail and your needs. The food was perfect!! Every dish was clean and exactly how our server described it. Everything was fresh from our fish to our unique veggies (sunflower roots). Our night was romantic, special, and perfect! The restaurant gave us a Happy Anniversary card with two complimentary champagnes for our next visit or dessert. A must try, you won't regret it.
