This culinary adventure is led by Legacy Restaurant Partners’ Corporate Executive Chef, Chris Bloubaum. A classically French trained chef, Chris combines classic regional fare with fresh flavors of locally and garden-grown ingredients. Diner Reviews
  • "Take the time to visit. The food and service is wonderful. Well worth the time and money spent."

  • "The restaurant was very accommodating for our party as we had my 18 month old with us. The staff was extremely friendly and very attentive to our dining experience. The bourbon list was extraordinary however they were out of Johnny Drum. Had a great glass of Willett instead. We had the chef's special empanadas which I highly recommend to all. The chocolate lava cake was favorited by all at the table. If in Midtown, then definitely stop in for a drink and a bite. "

  • "While staying in midtown took a chance here based on other recommendations & so glad we did. Good, slightly upscale, modern vibe. The bartender/mixologist put a lot of time & effort into each drink and it showed, as our handcrafted cocktails were amazing. The Kale Yeah salad was the finest of its type we've ever tasted. The grilled, smoked pork chop was phenomenal. I savored every bite with a glass of Pinot Noir and didn't want it to end. Dessert was exceptional as well. When my wife asked for a honey bourbon after dinner, since they didn't stock it, the bartender concocted something himself - a nice finishing touch. Check this place out, you'll be glad you did."

  • "We had never been to the restaurant before and we eat a Paleo diet, which sometimes limits our choices at retaurants. The kale salad with salmon was outstanding. Nothing boring or expected about that meal, for sure!"

  • "My wife and I had the pleasure to dine here before we went to the Fox Theatre for the Lion King. I picked this place because I felt that we wouldn't feel rushed before the show. The menu and specials were to our liking. I enjoyed the fact that they had extensive scotch, whiskey and bourbon selections as I will need to go back when not attending a show. As a starter, we ordered bacon wrapped dates with cheese. They were excellent! My wife and I also had the salmon dip appetizer although not as good as the dates. As a lover of bacon, I ordered the sea scallops with pulled duck and bacon chunks. I couldn't get enough! My wife ordered the salmon which had a fantastic seared crust. We left full and happy!"

  • "We dined at Article 14 before a show at the Alliance. Our server was WONDERFUL! The food was amazing and we enjoyed every moment at this restaurant. The salmon with brussels sprouts was divine. A new favorite!"

  • "Our server, Briana was very knowledgeable of the menu and suggested the perfect cocktails for my wife and I. As a business owner, I appreciate great service. I recommend Article 14."

  • "This is the second time we have eaten at Article 14, and the service and the food were excellent. We would eat there again. When croweded, the noise level can be a bit high, depending upon proximity to other tables. Overall, very very good!"

  • "Have been here several times and have always loved it. Excellent food and service."

  • "This is a great addition to the Midtown restaurant scene. I like the atmosphere although it does get a bit loud. Hostess was more than accommodating when we asked for a different table. Food was delicious including the kale salad and the pork loin. The polenta with brusselsprouts could be an entree on its own! Definitely coming back!"

  • "This was a great find! Service was outstanding! and the food wonderful! Our server was very knowledgeable about the food and beverage choices. She knew what wine I wanted even as I told her my choice. WE didn't have room for a dessert but will next time! My wife appreciated the Bourbon list....too many great choices but she managed to pick one."

  • "Overall, i had a wonderful experience. The food was amazing along with the great drinks that the mixologist prepared for us."

  • "Article 14 is a gem in Midtown Atlanta. Everything was tops. Food presented perfectly. Chef able to modify one dish to be dairy free. Really liked all the drawings of the community based successful lawyers on the wall; the name of the restaurant is very befitting. Great job."

  • "It's too bad this space isn't given more curb attention Although I liked the fact that we could pop in on a sat night and get seated quickly. My concern is that it is not busy enough to stay open. The good was great. The service was superb and the space beautiful. ! Highly recommend."

  • "Ill write a better review later. We arrived just as the kitchen was shutting down so we only had AMAZING drinks. Nice ambiance, great service. Very interesting concepts. The menu had us intrigued."

  • "We really enjoyed Article 14. We think it will develop into a real player in Midtown Atlanta."

  • "Wow...I was pleasantly surprised by the vibe of this place. Fantastic! It was quiet for a Saturday evening, but everything was on point the entire time. The drinks are incredible! Service was timely and efficient, and the food was scrumptious!"

  • "Appetizers were awesome. One entree was very good but risotto was severely under seasoned and rice appeared to have been par-boiled. No creamy texture. Disappointing."

  • "Article 14 is always excellent, great service and food!"

  • "Extremely limited menu, not a lot to choose from for brunch. I might try for dinner but will not go back or recommend for brunch."

  • "Perfect environment for a date with that special someone. Food, ambience, drinks, and service make a great place for casual date."

  • "Tried this Article 14 on recommendation of Atlanta Eats. Server was friendly and attentive but kitchen was exceptionally slow. Server had to apologize because the kitchen hadn't decided on the taco of the day and specials. Our Lobster rolls had shell in it and tasted old. The brussel sprouts were under cooked to the point of raw. Article 14 would be a place to stop in after work for a drink but not dinner before the theater."

  • "If you are going to drop roughly $150-$200 on a meal for two people, I would not recommend this place. For this amount of money, there should not be cartilage in your scallops (never had this anywhere else - awful feeling!), the drinks should not come in a glass so skinny that you get maybe four sips and the desserts should be fresh, not unevenly warmed up in the microwave! The food came out fast, but almost too fast. I felt like I was at a mexican restaurant where the food flies out the second you order it - no time to just enjoy your company. The staff was tentative, but almost seemed slightly 'put out' that they had to wait on you. I predict this place will be gone within 12 months."

  • "Visiting Atlanta for a show at the Fox. Had never been to Article 14 but decided to try it based on positive reviews. Everyone in our party of 4 enjoyed the meal. Would definitely recommend!"

  • "I decided to take my wife there for her birthday dinner and we were pleasantly surprised. I had flowers delivered to the restaurant and they were there on the table for us when we arrived. They gave us probably the best seat in the house in the front corner so we could see the whole restaurant. The staff was very friendly and attentive, even with a celebrity at the bar who apparently frequents there. The food was outstanding as I had hoped, probably one of the BEST pork chops I have ever eaten in my life. The bacon wrapped dates were awesome and so was the very decadent molten chocolate cake we shared for dessert. We will definitely be back again!"

  • "My date had the salmon, and enjoyed it. My dinner was light, salmon chowder, and a salad. Both of us enjoyed our meals. The restaurant was crowded and that contributed to the noise level, which was a bit higher than I like, but the noise was tolearable and did not interfere with our dining. The waitresses were well trained, and very attentive to our needs. I'd go again, and so would my date."

  • "Went here for valentines day had a wonderful time . The food was skimpy but flavorful , excellent drinks , and great service ."

  • "I went there with my sweetheart for the Valentine's day dinner. It was a good ambient with nice meal. My GF had a steak, and I had the pork chop both were good. We ordered two cocktails, and it was okay. I wouldn't say those were exceptional though. I loved the atmosphere and the service though. However, if you have a concert at ASO, it would be the perfect spot before the concert because you get a free parking. YES!! You can park your car there during and after dinner. We went to the concert and Shout for a drink or two after the concert, and it was fine until. So... good 4 hours."

  • "Took my girlfriend of 3+ years here for Valentines Day this year. Table that they sat us at was lower than normal dining tables (probably re-purposed from the waiting area of the restaurant) and shoved into a corner near the front of the restaurant. Food was ok but not great. Waiter recommended a share plate (okra chips) to us that he apparently gets mixed reviews on but which was fun to try. Kale salad and soup of the day were highlights of the meal. Strip steak was very tough and brussels sprouts were mostly tasteless. Service and timing left a lot to be desired. We ordered a the chips and they came out in about 2 minutes. <6 minutes later, apps arrived. 10-12 mins after that, entrees. Felt rushed and hurried the whole time."

  • "Had the bacon-wrapped dates as an app (excellent!), scallops and husband had the skirt steak with chimchurri. Also had the kale salad beforehand. Delicious. Very chill vibe-great service. Good bar scene. Excellent!"

  • "I first discovered Article 14 with some friends back in November. Honestly I'd passed by it several times in my neighborhood and thought it was purely an upscale bar. While they certainly delivered an impressive alcohol collection, they also had bartenders with skill enough to use it. Past this, they also served an amazing dinner. So after this experience I was hooked. I'm not normally the type of person to write reviews, but in making a recent reservation I was shocked to see some of the comments that contradicted the experiences I've had over a dozen times so I decided to write for others. Article 14 has amazing food, top notch service, a great atmosphere, and a staff that clearly cares about the type of experience they deliver."

  • "I dined here with my boyfriend. He found this little gem and I was so surprised that I had never heard of it before. The atmosphere is quaint and romantic, but I could see myself coming back with my girlfriends before a night out too. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We started with bacon wrapped dates and kale salad....so delicious! I took our servers recommendation and got the scallops and my boyfriend got the grilled pork chop. We both went back and forth eating off of each others plates and we still can't decide which dish we loved more! I look forward to returning very soon!"

  • "It was good. The Ahi tuna dinner was very good. our experience was good, but not what I would call exceptional."

  • "Article 14 was lively. The service is timely. The restaurant has a rather open seating plan, yet the restaurant retains some intimacy. The preparation and treatment of the salmon, and accompanying side dish, was fantastic. The was delicately prepared and delicious, with the appropriate seasoning and temperature."

  • "Bewildered by duck confit salad with pears. The duck was served as a leg and thigh atop greens, plus the duck was very hard. The pears were oddly cut with pits and they were very hard also. Homemade chips are good and Visalia onion dip is ver nice. Chips would have been better if they had been warm or hot. Nice presentation of scallops atop applesauce surround by bits of bacon. We were able to sample their special bourbon which was delicious. Not good enough to retry, sadly."

  • "I hosted a book club meeting on a Saturday afternoon during brunch. I had the crab cakes and they were amazing. You can't really complain about the portion sizes here because there is more than enough food. You get exactly what you pay for. I went around 3pm. It was very quiet and in a perfect area of downtown. I really enjoyed myself here and will go again."

  • "We ordered small plates - the standout was the duck confit slider - we ordered 1, then 2 more. Dates with blue cheese & bacon were very good. Miso glazed ribs were good, but felt unfinished. The caesar salad was described as including white anchovies; it came with 1, halved. It also had so little dressing that we ended up having to ask for salt and pepper just to make it taste like more than plain lettuce with croutons. The shrimp and squash risotto also desperately needed seasoning. Of the four cocktails we tried between the two of us, there was only 1 we would get again (the whiskey bottle cocktail). Service was courteous but slow & the team approach felt disjointed. Subtle is good; flavorless is not. "Not bad" isn't good enough. Next!"

  • "I had a group of 8 for dinner before a show. They were not prepared with enought servers. We ordered a round of dring which took 20 minutes and we hadnt ordered. We had to order small plates which were delicious but we felt very rushed and were not able to order a second round of drinks. The waitress was overwhelmed."
