Asst. Manager Catrina is absolutely amazing. Customer Service is what makes her a super star and we all know that Service at the Four Seasons is extraordinary, but she is superb. Not only does she care about customers, she also makes her team mates a high priority. Her team respects her, follows her lead, and makes her job easier. Would recommend this spot to all Seattle foodies.

With gourmands from the East Cost this birthday celebration calls for a repeat: food, wines, service and atmosphere were super! My guests were impressed which is not easily done! The menu and it's presentation is simply flawless and shows the continued care and dedication of a well trained and happy staff!

Service was slow at first, then friendly later, but not consistent through the meal. The menu is unappetizing and unoriginal, although some of what I ate was delicious. The ambience is pretty bland.

We had an excellent experience at Art for dinner this week. Both of our servers were friendly, knowledgeable and there when we needed them. We both had salads for starters that were surprisingly large and delicious, followed by the truly outstanding black cod. My husband can take fish or leave it but he loved this dish. The flavor is so rich and the fish was cooked perfectly. We then had the cheese course from the cheese buffet. Wow! I could have made my dinner from this with a glass of wine. There is a great variety of cheeses, nuts, dried fruit, salami and crackers. This is something to not miss. Our desserts were very good but not as outstanding as the rest of the meal. Perhaps we were just too full by then.

We had the best experience at Art on Saturday. James was our waiter and he couldn't have been nicer. It is such a beautiful dining room, makes you feel special. Prior to sitting down for dinner, we met our friends for a drink at the bar. Can't wait to go back ~

Dinner for two. Didn't feel very cool at first since it was so quiet and there wasn't anyone else under 45 in there. But once the sky got dark and the room filled up, we saw how nice the room was, with great lighting, and the lights across the Sound added to the ambience. The crowd felt sophisticated. Not young, but sophisticated, and it was like a fresh breeze to be able to talk to my date without shouting across a table for once. The service seemed like they were aiming for top-notch, but the delivery and attention to detail was merely okay. The menu was not exciting, and slightly overpriced, considering the dishes themselves were good, but unspectacular. If I go back, it will be for something more casual in the lounge.

It seems that service is not a priority at Art any more. One of our guests was drinking wine by the glass and had the wrong wine added to her glass, the side dishes ordered for the table were never brought to us, when filling water glasses, an appetizer plate got wet (it happens) the plate was promptly taken away, but never replaced. These small issues add up. I expected more based on prior visits, their reputation, location (Four Seasons) and price point. The final issue, while not the restaurants fault, was part of the dining experience; we waited more than 20 minutes for the valet to bring our car around. I want to like Art, the food was good, the location, ambiance and view are fantastic. But they need to get their service together.

I went to Art Restaurant with fairly high expectations considering it's affiliation with Four Seasons. We found our food (both the main and the side dish) quite "bland" and fairly tasteless. (In fact we had to send back the Mac N Cheese side to be re-done). Then they had this Douglas Fir Sorbet (strange for the sake of being strange)?? As the name suggests, it actually tasted like Furniture polish or something close to that......very weird. Even the Caesar Salad was unevenly chopped and unevenly blended. Best part of the meal was the 2011 bottle of Caymus Cabernet.............thank goodness for nice wines! Won't be back anytime soon!

I reserved for a table for 2 for brunch with my sister who came down from Dallas that day. It was part of her birthday gift, I was nervous at first since I never been to four season's brunch only dinner about 4 years ago. The menu was simple, but hard to choose from because everything sounded delicious. Two people, $64 not bad for a high-class restaurant and also great food. I got the buttermilk waffles, side of eggs, and the deluxe hot chocolate. Everything was cooked perfect. The waffles were crisp, but soft and it was just right. The hot chocolate, best thing on earth, served quite fancy. My sister and me could not stop talking about how great the food was till 2 days later. I definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

The decor is elegant, but the cuisine simply doesn't measure up and is mediocre both for a Four Seasons and among Seattle's top restaurants. I took my wife here for a very special occasion and it soured our view of the Four Seasons. For example, the oysters appetizer (6 for $24) was good, but the price was out of line with the quality, especially in Seattle where excellent seafood abounds. For our mains, we had the copper river salmon, which was very good, and the rabbit, which was a huge disappointment - overcooked and lacking in flavor. I mentioned this to the waiter, who didn't bother to take any action in response, which was quite the poor showing for an establishment that touts its service quality as highly as the Four Seasons does.

Having stayed at the FS Seattle several times over the years, I was looking forward to our meal last week. It was Sunday of the early World Cup games so the bar was busy but not full and the dining room was perhaps 1/2 full. We decided to sit at a 6 top between the DR and bar since it was by the windows and away from other tables. The floor/carpet under the table was filthy with lots of crumbs and gorp-type stuff on the floor (where was the hand sweeper??) But the waiter Micael was very pleasant and got us situated. We ordered drinks, which came and were finished and finally ordered dinner. It then took nearly 1.5 hours to get two courses and to try to order an additional bottle of wine. Never again, there is much better in Seattle.

The view is nice but you need to sit more by the window to enjoy it; if I go again I ll sit on the lounge side. The good was just ok. I like the fact that they get their vegetables from organic farms! The steak was just ok, tomato and cesadid salads were very good, did not like the artichoke salad. All in all it was just ok

Dinner at the Art Restaurant was very good. Valet parking at the Four Seasons is convenient and complimentary with dinner. The ambiance is high quality; what you would expect at a Four Seasons hotel although the view from the dining room windows is industrial, not particularly attractive but not distractive. The carrot soup was unusual but interesting and flavorful. The salmon was prepared to perfection. Service was prompt and professional.

Copper River Salmon is available, I was told, only one month a year due to its migrating patterns in Alaska. What a perfectly prepared treat for my family and me! The cocktails and drinks were flawless. The service by a young man was cordial, knowledgeable, and efficient. It included two visits to the table by a manager to see how things were going. Believe me, I can be quite critical and judgmental when appropriate, but on the night we were there, everything went perfectly. My adult son and daughter agreed.

Another wonderful visit to Art! While my wife and I are exploring Veganism, we did not think we would be going back to Art given their wonderfully diverse menu - which includes much meat, fish and dairy. This is one of our favorite places to meet for lunch. I think what a place does for restaurant week tells you a lot about the place. We are regulars at Art but had never tried the clam chowder until this past week. It was fantastic! It is non-traditional - it arrives "deconstructed" and then the broth is added at your table. Some of the ingredients differ from the usual chowder (greens, for example), but the result is incredibly good. The pork cheeks were another great new find.
