  • "Delicious and very interesting menu. Caring service. All around great evening."

  • "All of us enjoyed every dish set down at our table and there were a lot of them! The Trefethen white wine is lovely for summer. Thank you for continuing to keep your menus fresh and interesting so we can visit often!"

  • "Every time we visit Santa Fe we look for new places to dine to add to our list of favorites, well Arroyo Vino just went to the top of the list! Granted it was a little tricky to find [the gps gave all wrong info] & we were a little cranky when we finally got there, we were immediately soothed by the nice wait staff & as soon as the first course arrived we were thrilled we had tracked them down. We had the duck pate & also the chanterelle mushrooms to start, absolutely delicious, one of us had the duck, another had the lamb & I had the 'chicken& biscuits'we shared tastes & everything was superb, there was not a false note . The wait staff was friendly & helpful. We spent the next day tellina\g all we ran into what a great meal we had!"

  • "Initial problems catching the waiter's attention were quickly rectified. Quickly, bread and oils arrived as focaccia-style slices: two greenish Italian oils and a Hungarian pumpkin oil, dark and nutty. The Farm Salad of fresh leaves was dressed lightly and the composed salad/appetizer of thin slices of fingerling potatoes, tiny fresh artichoke hearts, dots of tomato essence and invigoratingly salty kalamata olive paste rung all foodie bells. Crusty halibut rested atop fresh corn kernels that had chanterelle and pancetta bits for seasoning, while the large plate of lamb included meatballs and wonderful soba noodle cakes. Summer sparklers and roses did not pique our interest, but an exceptional Mersault from Kermit Lynch did the trick."

  • "Great find. Terrific menu (small plates). Wine shop attached where you can purchase wine for dinner if your favorite isn't on there list. Dine outside on the patio if at all possible although the inside and bar area look appealing. Note: do not use google maps but rather call first for directions. A bit of a drive out of central Santa Fe but well worth the journey."

  • "We love love love this restaurant. In fact, we are going back Saturday night. The wait staff is world class - best in Santa Fe. Lamb Paparadelle amazing. Cod balls were fabulous. Halibut was perfectly prepped and great dinner size. I think our table of 6 ordered every appetizer except the bread and oils!"

  • "The food at Arroyo Vino is as good as it gets. We thought it was as good as the meal we had at Massa's in San Francisco, and it was much more affordable. Because it is attached to a wine store, the wines are excellent as well. And we've never had better service: our waiter's name is Arthur, and he is both knowledgeable and charming. Our GPS wanted us to believe the restaurant was in a group of mail boxes, but drive on...you'll be glad you did!"

  • "We had a difference of opinion: I appreciated the creativity of the chef; others were not impressed. Portions were very small and expensive. Our waiter was excellent and even asked if we had ordered enough. My husband thought the restaurant was "pouffy" or pretentious; I do not agree with him. I had shrimp that was grilled and served with pieces of melon that cut the heat of the shrimp- delicious. The wine list is excellent. This restaurant is slightly out of town;; nicely situated for a glorious sunset."

  • "This place has great food, with a diversity of cuisine and a sophistication that would be great in NY or Chicago and is remarkable for Santa Fe"
    Dined on 8/1/2014
  • "Extremely noisy even though the restaurant was only about half full. All hard surfaces, no carpet, no acoustical tile. Food was good, but not worth enduring the din."

  • "The most creative food, fabulous wine and some of the bestservice in Santa Fe"

  • "We have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed."

  • "Lived here 3 years, eaten regularly in all the 4 and 5 star restaurants . Arroyo Vino always delights us with new dishes and old favorites exquisitely prepared. Our favorite SF restaurant."

  • "The food was outstanding as always. The outside patio is a great addition and very pleasant."

  • "This is truly one of Santa Fe's best. The menu is diverse and extremely creative. The wine list is second to none. From the moment you walk in to when you leave you experience and seasoned Maitre D' and waitstaff all of whom are extremely knowledgeable, friendly but not overwhelming. Absolutely everything on the menu is a culinary experience not to miss. The young chef is an all star and should be lauded for his abilities."

  • "Service was horrible. Clearly there was someone at another table considered highly important while we were invisible. It was almost comical other than it certainly left a bad taste in our mouths. The restaurant wasn't that busy and there was no apparent reason why our food was so late in coming, cold and the waiter clearly indifferent at best. I was so looking forward to trying the restaurant and now will not be back."

  • "The wait staff are knowledgeable, professional and always add to the enjoyment of Mark's amazing food. We love that the menu changes all the time. The best restaurant in Santa Fe!"

  • "We are so fortunate to have Arroyo Vino right in our neighborhood. We had a long, hard Friday, and dinner at Arroyo Vino set everything to rights. Great food, lovely and relaxed dining out on the patio. If you're downtown, it's well worth the short drive out Camino La Tierra, and you can't beat the views."

  • "Every bite to savor! Maybe the best chef in New Mexico. High desert evening, so relaxing on patio with view of chamisa and pinon pines, like being in your own backyard. Casual, minimalist setting encouraged our focus on each perfect bite. Mark is a genius with flavor."

  • "Wonderful atmosphere and super wine selection. Food is esoteric service is slow but knowledgeable and attentive."

  • "This is our favorite restaurant in Santa Fe. Creative food preparations and presentations. Portions and "Bites" are perfectly sized. Glad to see the Asparagus Fries back and the peas and spring rolls are always a hit. LOVED the mushroom risotto."

  • "Menu changes frequently, and there are always a variety of tempting choices. The service tends to be a bit "hooty" but aside from the chips on their shoulders, they are competent. The kitchen is definitely above average."

  • "Every meal we have here just keeps getting better...I think it is one of the 3 best in Santa Fe. I love everything we have here...just wish I could try all on the menu...so innovative and wonderful fresh ingredients and very seasonal...great that the menu changes so frequently. If you come to Santa Fe, be sure and try this...it is worth the drive!"

  • "My husband and I make it a point to dine at Arroyo Vino whenever we are in Santa Fe. The dishes are always creative, beautifully presented and have amazing flavor. Everything is made "from scratch" using local seasonal ingredients when available; with some from their own vegetable and herb garden. The servers are knowledgable and helpful and all the staff very friendly. We dined out on their new patio and found it to be quite lovely and relaxing."

  • "This treasure is one Santa Fe's best kept secrets. Food is superb and the service outstanding. Ben and Rom ALWAYS go above and beyond."

  • "Probably will be a great neighborhood spot, we drove out from Santa Fe, and it was difficult to find, GPS is incorrect for some reason. Good concept, because of the wine store, but I believe they still have a ways to go, great location, but uneven service, great outdoor patio, it was a relief from the noise of downtown."

  • "Wonderful food! The best melding of flavors I have ever experienced. This chef knows his business. Nothing was overpowering. The flavors were subtle and worked so well together. The service was tremendous, and the wine list is outstanding."

  • "Love this wonderful little restaurant and wine bar in our neighborhood. The food is always wonderful...with plates for sharing...and the menu changes daily which I really like. I get so tired of places that never change and since we eat out 5 nights a week it can really get boring. With the wine shop attached you can always find a wine that compliments your dinner. This place offers up some of the best food in Santa Fe."

  • "Arroyo vino is attached to the wine store, so they offer the option of bringing in any bottle from the wine store, with a very reasonable charge. The food was enjoyable, with a selection of interesting small plates (not spanish style) and entrees. The dishes had interesting combinations of ingredients and were well prepared. The scallops and the seamless ravioli (think gnocchi) were both delightful, as were the desserts. The menu is not always descriptive, but ask the waiter for more details if you are not an adventerous diner. The location is inconvenient, but worth the drive. "

  • "We live just up the road, and finally "found" Arroyo Vino the other night. Loved the tapas, enjoyed sharing the small plates, and of course the wine was stellar. Asparagus fries were especially intriguing, but overall the menu was experimental and delicious. Very pleased we have this little gem right in the 'hood!"

  • "The chef here is simply magic, and the wines selected from the adjoining wine store are offered at extremely reasonable prices. Our favorite place in Santa Fe."

  • "This restaurant, adjacent to a wine shop, has an ever-changing menu of seasonal ingredients, exquisitely prepared and served mainly as small plates suitable for sharing. Get the seamless ravioli if they are on the menu but, really, everything is great. "

  • "There are people who want to cook good food, and try to cook good food, who write menus with artful ingredients. Then there are honest-to-god "food smiths" if you will, people who understand how to extract the essence from ingredients and serve you something worth all the foodie rapture. Kudos also to this most excellent restaurant, easily the best in Santa Fe (and wider circles) which is known for its wine list and huge on-site wine store, for treating diners who come for the food alone as well as any $250 a bottle wine drinking diner. The sunset could not have been improved upon, either. Our second visit, this is on our must-dine list any time we're in Santa Fe."

  • "The menu changes daily. The food is always interesting but simple and delicious. It is not fussy at all. Fresh crayfish was served simply with a delicious broth and great frites. You had to eat it with your fingers, so the restaurant is all about the food and not attitude. Lamb belly was new to us and also delicious."

  • "This is a neighborhood spot for those in Las Campanas and La Tierra, so it's an older crowd and pretty quiet. The food was pretty good for me, but my fellow diner had the duck confit special and proclaimed it the worst duck she's ever had. Great wine list and our server was excellent. "

  • "The service was extremely stellar (and I am picky). The food was a gustatory delight. The atmosphere was beautiful without being intimidating. And I loved being able to pick out a wine from the attached wine shop. It was a Wine Spectator 93 pointer, and it was still less expensive than their wine list's least expensive bottle. Very fun."

  • "Briefly, we were disappointed and the first clue was that there were few diners for a sat. Night in Santa Fe. It used to be quite good we understand, but the chef has changed or something. The "fabled" pork dish was dry and almost inedible and my dish with confit and foie gras was tasteless. If there was any foie gras I surely didn't taste it. The salad had a very sharp and strong vinegar in the dressing that over-powered everything else. The service was very good, ambience was nice; but without the food, we'll never go back. We live in Santa Fe and this was our first and last time? Santa Fe Rupperts"
