We've been coming here regularly for well over 10 years, maybe 15 years, two to four times a year, and it is always fantastic. It was my wife's birthday this weekend, and they hit a home run yet again. Our kids are now at an age (6 and 10) where we no longer get nervous bringing them along. It's not cheap, but otherwise perfect. Everything we ordered was wonderful. I had the special Halibut and my husband the Salmon. Both were delicious. The barbqued shrimp salad was the same as always, very good.The waiter brought me a beautiful bouquet of flowers. And the dessert we ordered had a candle on the plate. The interior seemed to be updated and very well done. The server, Brian, was outstanding as to his attention to us and his knowledge of the menu items. His suggestions were right on point and the Cowboy Rib eye was huge and one of the most flavorful steaks I've enjoyed in a long time. The vegetables were excellent and the desserts just enough for 3.

Immediately, my wife and I felt welcomed and relaxed. The server's knowledge of the food was specially important, in that the recommendations that were made (from the starters to the main course meal) were excellent choices. I loved the food. The meat quality was superb in that its tenderness and flavors were palate pleasing. I also had the porterhouse steak, medium rare, that I had really been looking forward to. I found the taste somewhat bland and disappointing, not having the rich meaty taste that I had been hoping for. I would suggest a preparation including garlic or garlic salt in addition to the salt and pepper. Also, the steak could have been more seared on the outside while still keeping the meat medium rare.
Our waiter was very nice, helpful, knowledgeable, and charming.

The service was good not great. What I didn't like was the charge for the bread. This was our first time and the waiter asked if we would like garlic, sourdough or a combination of the two breads. I ordered the two breads. Much to my surprise when the bill came was a charge for the bread. I thought the bread was complimentary like most places. Our dinner was delicious. We all had steak two the petite filet the other two the filets. They were cooked to perfection. The baked potatoes were some of the largest I have ever seen. We also ordered sauteed mushrooms, sugar snap peas and au gratin potatoes. The only thing I wasn't thrilled with was where we ended up sitting. We had a table right next to the bar, the bar itself is small and there were some large groups waiting to be seated and unfortunately because the space was tight people kept pushing up against the back of my husbands chair.It was also louder then we would have liked because of the bar but the food made up for those issues.
