Visiting from NY with tickets for the game, it was a treat to watch batting practice while enjoying a very good meal. The calimari was cooked perfectly and my white fish with gnocchi was terrific. I loved that they brought a big pot of coffee to the table for each person who ordered. A real surprise that along with the fun of the place, the food was very good.

We went here while on vacation in Tornoto. What the place lack in ambiance it makes up for with the view over Roger's field. There was a football game going on at dinner, it is one of the places my kids still talk about as one of their favorites from the trip. The service was great, the food was good as well. Not a large selection on the menu but we all liked what we got. We would come back.

Arriba was a delightful experience. Went there for Summerlicious '12 for lunch and it was magnificent, service was alright (our waitress wasnt very receptive and nice, but she might be having a bad day). The overlaying scenic view of the Rogers Centre baseball diamond was incredible and the food was on par with my expectations as well! I would highly recommend the slow roasted beef sandwich because the pretzel bun was really nice and also the tiramisu dessert, one of the most rememberable tiramisu i have had in a while. Thanks Arriba!

  • Cool idea but disappointed...
    OpenTable Diner Since 2010
    Dined on 5/25/2012
We had gone to this restaurant specifically to see the Toronto Blue Jays field while dining. My 5 year old son is a HUGE baseball fan. The website insinuated that the field would be lit up even if the team was away. The staff indicated the same while we were dining, but the lights were out and they weren't sure when they would be turning them back on. Sufficed to say our son was very disappointed. We had driven 4 hours to Toronto and he had really been looking forward to this. The food was decent and the staff was helpful otherwise.

Terrific restaurant, spacious and bright especially when the dome is open. Great view of Toronto's field, interesting even when there's no game on. The food is delicious, the menu very creative with their Yam fries and "Lamburger" take on the regular fare, which was inspired by a facebook contest. Also succulent mussels for an extremely reasonable price. Excellent service, perfect location and delicious food make this a neighbourhood gem where you never know who or what you'll see, but are guaranteed it will be memorable!

Food is great and they let you take your time to eat and enjoy the game. My boyfriend loved the surprise. I totally recommend to take either a group of friends or just a table for two.

We went using a Travelzoo voucher and despite having called them to ensure we can use the voucher for brunch instead of dinner, we were given very limited selection and given the wrong information about the whole event. It was unprofessional & an unpleasant experience as I spoke to the person the day before heading over and yet it was a problem even with the person there.

We went for dinner as part of a special deal. I think most of the people there that night were for the same reason. We were able to catch a bit of the Jays game, but we didn't have window seats. Got this deal over travelzoo a few months ago and we ended up with a beautiful view of the stadium, amazing food and a Boston game to watch! For those who are baseball fans, it's difficult to book a Boston or NY baseball game and to be able to have a meal and watch the game was beyond our expectations. Our server was wonderful and even though we did not have reservations for window seating we ended up at a window seat near the end of the night. Will definitely bring my friends and family to the restaurant again!! Thanks for a memorable evening!

We were very early, but as the restaurant was having a slow night, we were seated immediately, at a table front and centre of the playing field. Service was prompt and attentive. The food was not impressive at all. Too salty. For the (travelzoo deal) price we paid, it was okay. If we were to pay full price, I would definitely feel more negative.

We were disappointed on a number of points, mainly concerning professionalism. When we arrived, there was no one at reception to seat us for awhile. The service was slow although the restaurant had not yet filled up. The wine I ordered had gone sour and had to be sent back. At this point, one would think a complimentary glass would be in order. Although I had already selected a different label, the waitress seemed to push another of the same or some wine of THEIR choosing. The check took awhile to get and then their machine was broken: the waitress pressed us for cash or debit. We waited nearly half an hour! A classier solution would have been to say it was on the house. That would at least have earned them repeat customers.
