Arpeggio Food & Wine BarGreat food right in Lincoln Center!I hate to have to take a taxi to a restaurant, only to have to take another one to the theater. So, when I first found out about Arpeggio in the Avery Fisher Hall building at Lincoln Center, I knew I'd give it a try. I've been back six times; possibly more. I have a ballet subscription, and now, I can't think of a better place for dinner than to have a great meal (I've never been disappointed), feel completely satisfied and happy, be right where I want to end up, and walk across the plaza to the ballet after dinner! So maybe this isn't a fair comparison to all restaurants in New York City, because the location matters so much to me, but you won't be disappointed! Last Saturday's skirt steak was a feast for the eyes and the palate!5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMGood ServiceThis restaurant is for people attending Lincoln Center events so that the service must be outstanding. The staff is attentive, courteous and efficient.5/2/2013 12:00:00 AMFood and service were excellent.Food and service were excellent. Noise level was much too high. Neighboring table left without ordering because of noise.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat for per theater, symphonyGreat for per theater, symphony and/or opera. More reasonable than Grand Tier Restaurant at the Met and better food.4/3/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent, interesting foodExcellent, interesting food and the staff is no considerate and kind; makes a pre-performance meal feel like an occasion in itself.4/2/2013 12:00:00 AMOur first visit tothis restaurantOur first visit tothis restaurant was indeed a pleasant experience. The wait staff are friendly, attentive without being overbearing and the food is very good. A nice view by the windows allows you to watch the hustle of Manhattan go by without experiencing the feeling you are in a fishbowl with people looking in.3/26/2013 12:00:00 AMPerfect for a visit to LincolnPerfect for a visit to Lincoln Center, stoll to your performance. A new menu with interesting choices meat, fish, pasta. Italian touches but not really an italian restaurant. I particularly like the service from a very friendly staff. Gets hectic as show time approaches so I usually go early (5.30 to 6 PM) to ensure the most pleasant experience.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMThe ambiance in the interiorThe ambiance in the interior room was great - noise was more muffled than that in the room overlooking the street. Our service coulodn't have been better and the food that we had was appealing to the eye and taste buds! We will definitely be back when we visit Manhattan and the opera!3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMArpeggio was a very pleasantArpeggio was a very pleasant surprise. In Lincoln Center so was great for dinner before the opera. Lovely, spacious, quiet ambience with delicious food. Highly recommended.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat for Lincoln CenterI think "Great for Lincoln Center" (or maybe "for pre-performance") should be a "special feature"! The food is excellent (my trout with ?grits? was outstanding last time), but the location is a huge consideration, and they are RIGHT THERE, the only Lincoln Center restaurant (except the specialized Grand Tier) which doesn't require you to brave the elements to get to your play/opera/concert. Plus the service is friendly and attentive, you can relax knowing you will make your curtain.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMThe setting is wonderful,The setting is wonderful, the food could be better for the price and setting.3/9/2013 12:00:00 AMLocated in Avery Fisher hallLocated in Avery Fisher hall at Lincoln Center, and therefore especially convenient for those attending performances.
