Dined here on Saturday because we had a 50% discounted coupon and it's a new restaurant for us to try in Astoria. At 7:30 PM there were only 4 others in the restaurant, at 8:30 we were all alone. The burger place across the street was hopping as were all the other restaurants by Ditmars and 31st Street when we drove over to have dessert. The food basically was good but I don't like a totally empty restaurant. That is usually not a good sign. Our server said it was crowded at brunch and gets crowded later but when we come back to our car at 10 PM there were 2 people there. The food was good but we won't be returning.

Excellent restaurant! My first time there and they were great. when I first got there, it was empty but as the night went on it filled up completely so it can get a lil noisy after a while. we sat outside on a nice day and it was wonderful. the food was great and really tasty. I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone!

I went for brunch and the food was good, standard brunch fare and the sangria was great. Our server couldn't have been nicer. I'll definitely go back to try lunch or dinner.

Took my Mom and Wife out for Mothers day brunch and we had a great time. I had the Cranberry Walnut salad...great! Service was excellent as well was our waiter who was working his 1st day. My teenage daughter wanted something not on the pre fixe menu but they gladly made it.

My girlfriend and I went here for dinner. Its a new place and we walk by it all the time, so we wanted to check it out. The menu overall emphasized more healthy cuisine, but we also had the mac and cheese which was delicious. The overall ambience was a little odd because the decor had a Mediterranean feel but there was country music playing. The food was very good and our server was friendly, so I expect we'll go back in the future.

The reason I gave it 2 stars is because of my food being way over cooked, and the service at the end of the meal was bad because she seemed to forgot about us My bf and I went for Valentines Day. Appetizers were the best part of our meal. I had the spinach salad, and he had the mushrooms. For dinner rib-eyes with baked potato, and 4 string green beans (yeah thats all the green beans we got). Nevertheless, the green beans and baked potato were good. The rib eye was so so. I ordered medium well for my rib eye and it came out well done, crispy in fact and there was no way I could eat it so she was nice enough to get me another steak. It took 15+ min and my boyfriend was already done with his dinner when I got mine. The dessert was good.

My wife and I really enjoyed our experience at Aroma 31. It was a 7:00pm reservation on a Friday. Maybe it has a later crowd but it was a little quiet. The service was great and the food was better than expected for a price-fix menu.

I would have rated the food higher. What we received was good, but they were out of the wine and two of the dishes we chose.

Tried this place for the first time last weekend. The food was good and the prices werent too bad. Went with a few friends and they enjoyed it as well. Parking is a bit scarce but thats how parking is in astoria. Since the place just opened a little over a month ago they dont have their liquor license yet but the sangria was just ok. You are better off going for drinks at a local lounge after. Otherwise I would eat there again. Its comparable to Poco in the city.
