I took my wife there for our 6 year anniversary and found that making a reservation was not really needed. However the staff was very helpful in making arraignments such as having a glass of wine or champagne on the table waiting for us. Unfortunately the food was terrible. It was all very bland and had no seasoning. The shrimp cocktail was the worst thing I have ever tried. As far as the main course they were so bad and lacking of flavor I caught myself and my wife not even coming close to finishing anything we ordered that when we left after paying $100 for a view but not for a meal we ended grabbing some food at the movie theater and I hate to say it the food at iPic theater was far better. I will never go back again.

Arnie's is a place where things all come together...the food is consistently very good and nicely presented, the staff is well trained and very helpful (our waitperson, Meagan, made our last visit especially pleasant)...and the view is both interesting and spectacular. We've dined there often and have never been disappointed.

As out of towners, Arnies was a great choice, with the spectacular view of the harbor, Puget Sound and Mt.Baker in the background. The service was friendly and professional from start to finish, and the food did not disappoint. I had the soup and sandwich, both were delicious. The only down side was that the free WIFI didn't work.

We used to love Arnie's pan fried oysters and usually at least one person at our table would order them at each visit. However they recently changed the breading to a thicker and heavier cornmeal which changed their flavor and made them dry. I hope that enough customers agree with our family so that Arnie's brings back their old breading style. Other than the change to their oysters the food is pretty good at Arnie's. Everyone in our large family usually walks away happy with their meal. They have a full bar and a decent wine list. Everyone that works there is friendly and inviting, including the wait staff. The view is very nice and the atmosphere can be a bit lively. I am sure we will be visiting Arnie's again.

Last Friday evening enjoyed the deck at Arnie's. Absolutely love it this time of year. Great view and ambiance, and the silver salmon was incredible. Paired with a very nice Pinot Noir. Service was very good and they do not mind if you take your time.

We brought local friends from north to meet halfway. This is a restaurant that specializes in local flavor, but has deep specialties. The staff was extremely helpful and earned our appreciation. If we wanted to go local the menu supported it, but it also had upper end features. We brought a surprise 18 month old guest and were presented with an appropriate location, +++toys and attention. Surprise yourself with a view of the Desolation sound, sunset and food. This is obviously a local hangout ensuring their long term survivability but with upper end food that will attract the occasional food browser looking for a supreme Puget Sound experience.

My husband and I walked in at around 11:30 on a Sunday morning and we were led to a table with a view of the parking lot. The ENTIRE restaurant was practically empty except for the tables around the windows. We didn't want a table by the window as we were walk-ins, just one of the 4-top tables with a view of the water to see the beautiful scenery. I pointed out a 4-top table that would work for us and the hostess was obviously offended that we did not want to look at the parking lot on a gorgeous Sunday morning and led us to another table on another level, WHERE THE SAME HOSTESS PROCEEDED TO SEAT ALL THE FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN DIRECTLY BY OUR TABLE. We did not appreciate this as we go to Arnie's about 2 to 3 times per month!

The Mukilteo Arnie's sits unassumingly just above the parking/waiting lot for the ferry traffic to Bainbridge. From the looks, it might have been built in the 70's. We checked in with a pleasant-enough hostess, and were seated within minutes at a window table overlooking the bay and ferry operations. Our waitress was gracious and efficient, without rushing us. We ordered cocktails, then the ahi poke, which was outta this world good! For dinner, wife had the king salmon, and I had the ling cod. Both were excellent. When we got to choosing a wine to go with them, and we asked for advice between a couple, our waitress brought out two samples each (2 whites for me, 2 reds for the wife). That was cool! Well done once again, Team Arnie's.

The view and atmosphere are the best part of this dining experience for my birthday. My scallops were cooked nicely, but came with a poached pear that was so hard it was inedible, overlooked green beans and a risotto that lacked interest. Even the dessert tasted like it came from the QFC bakery rather than a pastry chef. Save your money for a better meal and enjoy the view from the deck at happy hour.

I've been dining at Arnie's for years and have always liked their menu and quality of food. However, I've seen a recent decline in food quality and preparation. For example, the fish & chips has become mostly chips and very small portions of cod, and the chips tasted stale. The seafood salads have become smaller and less fresh tasting as well. Even the bread servings (delicious sourdough) have become meager. Please bring the quality/quantity back to old standards, Arnie's!

Arnie's is a nice-dining standby in scenic little Mukilteo, terminus of the ferry to Whidbey Island. My cousin and I went there for a birthday lunch, which I specified on my Open Table reservation, and were greeted with "Happy Birthday!" and an invitation to take up my requested window-side table. The service was excellent; food selections included healthy options, and they happily swapped out a rice side dish for a serving of delicious asparagus. Top marks all around!

This evening was the celebration of my wife and my 31st year since we met and 30th year since our engagement. Arnie's did not fail us! Our dinners were, as usual, very well prepared. The champagne sauce with my wife's grilled scallops was light and delicate, and her risotto was creamy. The fresh asparagus was cooked perfectly, not over done, which is difficult. The salmon with my seafood grill was better than I can grill at home and that's saying something.

We are regulars at Arnies, knowing we'll get good food and service every time. They excel at seafood, from their creamy bisque to their mixed seafood salad to the fresh catch of the season. They have managed to keep several long-time employees, so it's nice to be greeted and served by familiar faces who make sure we're given good service. It also suggests they're good to their staff, which is a plus in my book.
