  • "We enjoyed the food and waiter comped our desert for my husbands birthday! Also gave us a free cardboard framed photo for a take home gift."

  • "My husband and I visit Los Angeles every year and each time we always dine at Mortons because we love it so much. Great food, great service that you cannot fault."

  • "They was a family there with kids who were literally screaming about 1/2 the time"

  • "We've traveled the world visiting Michelin starred restaurants. Hit up Morton's only because we had an unused giftcard. Have learned my lesson about using giftcards. Should have given it to charity. Arrived at 5pm with 2 year old son. Restaurant was empty, but you'd have thought we brought the devil himself. The maître d wouldn't even make eye contact with us and the family that was sitting next to us (with an 8 year old) gave us the evil eye. The waitress even said immediately that they "don't make food for young palates". My son laughed loudly a few times and the family next to us asked to be moved. You're in Burbank chumps. You're not that cool. The food lacked flavor and was overpriced. Don't bother with this snotty dump."

  • "We went here for our anniversary dinner. Nice touches for this, special menu, photo, and a free dessert. The service was horrendous, we were not necessarily in a hurry, but we weren't trying to make this an evening of dining, we were there for almost 2 hours, and they were not busy! Given the price point I expect very good service and good food. Our food was mediocre. My husband the cajun ribeye which the waitress raved about, he thought it was just okay, I had the Chilean Seabass, and I am 90% certain it was Halibut or Cod. It was really good, so I wasn't going to complain, but for $45 for a piece of fish be honest. The dessert was AWFUL(free), Lemon Soufflé, it was runny, so not cooked properly, and it tasted like eggs."

  • "I had the glazed salmon, and not only was it overcooked and super dry, but it was also under seasoned and completely Bland. The bean/corn combo it came with did absolutely nothing for my tastebuds. Tasted like something out of a can. Overall, a complete overpriced disappointment. Just go to the Cheesecake Factory and have their Miso Salmon, 100 times better...."

  • "Overpriced says it all. This would be a good place to go should you not care about value and if someone else is paying. The 35.00 / 6 oz filet mignon was good but not exceptional. Really 12.00 for a baked potato? 4 people no alcohol, deserts or coffe afterward, for lunch, after tip 300.00? One of our party ordered a medium steak and it was practically raw. It was recooked but for that price I think a luttle more attention could have been paid. The dining room is dark but nice. Service was reasonable but the longest conversation I had with the server is when he pitched me to buy a membership card for future discounts as he handed me my bill. Wish he would have paid closer attention during the meal."

  • "Great ambiance, superb food and walked away with a happy belly and a wonderful experience. A special note re: my friends promotion was acknowledged by the best cheesecake/creme brulee like toping I had ever had...Thank you Mortons."

  • "Very Good service by our waiter John. We love the Mix Grills, the Morton's salad, the pastas, the steak is very good but just served blah! For the price, it needs a little more garnishing for presentation, better yet should go with a side dish included."

  • "We use to go to Morton's all the time and then Landrys bought them and everything Went "South". But we were patient and they are getting much better. Food was hot, Good and served timely."

  • "Went there for valentines day with my girlfriend. I ordered a filet mignon and she got a salmon dish. Was kind of disappointed when she said it didn't have much flavor."

  • "the steak was delicious and very simple presentation."

  • "The service was excellent. The food was surpurb, but the proportions are enough for two persons. The interior of the resturant is nothing elaborate. When seated at 6:30, there were not a lot of diners, but as it neared 8:00, it filled up and became quite noisy. The location of the bathrooms could be better marked and with the huge number of tables in the dining room they are rather difficult to navigate to. It may be trendy today to have the kitchen a prominent part of the dining experience, but for our party, personally, having it less conspicuous is perferred."

  • "The ambience at Morton's is fantastic. It is a very romantic place to take your significant other. Everyone is very friendly and the service is fantastic. However, keep in mind that it is very pricey. Approx $50 per person. I wish I would have known that before we went. The steaks were wonderful tho!!!"

  • "Great food but on the expensive side, good only for special occasions."

  • "Morton's is the place we like to come for a special occasion or a personal celebration. This time we chose to celebrate Valentine's Day. The food and service are always top notch. We got to sit in the side room this time and the noise was at a more moderate level. We do not understand why restaurants where people need to yell are popular. In fact, why do mot restaurants insist on playing music that you need to shout over. In any case, we like Morton's but it is one of the priciest restaurants around. Not sure why it needs to be so expensive."

  • "As always Morton's food is great. Only draw back is they seemed understaff on Thursday the day before V-Day. Server was a little overwhelmed. Not his fault."

  • "We had an excellent evening with Matt, our server, who was knowledgeable, made good recommendations and was attentive, but not overbearing. Some folks were not properly dressed and didn't know how they should pay their bills -- but that was with a different server. Our food and experience were excellent. We will be back. Prefer this location over Ruth's Chris and Masros"

  • "Morton's is a solid choice where you can expect a consistent quality of food; however, we didn't find the food to be that impressive with the appetizers being more notable and the Bone-In Rib Eye. The service was significantly lacking where we had to ask twice to have our waters filled back up and upon ordering wine we waited past our appetizers coming in order to actually receive it."

  • "We took our daughter and friend here for dinner. We all were given "Happy Birthday" menu. That menu had no pricing. We each had a cocktail and a glass of wine, had a dozen oysters, each a steak, and two of us had the lobster tail. Prior visits the steaks were in the $40s, appetizer in the $20s, but the lobster was a question, so we asked. The waitress said $27 for a 5oz tail. I responded that the menu said it was an 8ox tail. She replied "my mistake, it's 8oz". Dinner was good. Got the check and noted the appetizer was in the $40s, the quoted $27 lobster was $48 each, and everything in general was way more than a good restaurant would charge. We left paying $636.83 for our dinner for 4. Outrageous!"

  • "I've been a regular at this location since it opened. The new owner, Landry's, has unfortunately turned this hi-end, Chicago steakhouse into just another chain restaurant complete with bad background music and sporting a newly remodeled, sterile interior design. The good news is that they have retained much of the original management, bar and floor staff. And, despite the addition of menu selections typically found at chain restaurants, the food quality remains pretty solid. It's not what it used to be but still worth a visit."

  • "Okay we don't drop 2 bills every time dining but Arnie Morton's was special. The food was very good...starting with the onion loaf bread. Salad to split. Wifey had the sea bass, I opted for the bone in rib eye both very tasty. We added in two sides, truffle fries and spinach and mushrooms...together with desserts( nothing to write home about on the desserts)...all in all nice"

  • "We went for lunch and it was practically empty. After waiting nearly 20minutes for the ONE waiter working to take our order and then receiving mediocre food, I knew why. The waiter remained MIA for the duration of the meal and my "ribeye" tasted like a cheap skirt steak that had been mistakenly pan-fried in Crisco oil rather than grilled. Blehhhh! The mashed potatoes accompanying it had NO flavor! I know my steak and other than the ridiculously dark lighting, this is NOT a real steakhouse. Embarrassing."

  • "Good atmosphere, the food was decent but expensive. The service was great and the restaurant has a great vibe. I had their burger and it wasn't anything special unfortunately."
    Dined on 1/29/2014
  • "Known for their steaks, Morton's has a separate lunch menu. A good variety. Four of us had lunch for $180. While the meal was palatable it seemed a bit lacking for an upscale restaurant. Our waitress was pleasant and courteous but seemed a bit overwhelmed (the restaurant filled up after we were served). The ambience was nice and the noise level just right. Overall though, they need to step up their game to justify those prices."

  • "Went for DineLA and the food was not good. They were so cheap! Went with one girl and we ordered the chicken sandwich. They forgot our fries and instead of giving us each our own fries, they had us share. And then when we asked for a togo, they packed it into one. Uh... hello? Probably the worse steakhouse to go to."
    Dined on 1/28/2014
  • "The food was very good... not anything spectacular, but good. The restaurant was dimly lit a nice touch, but all very open and felt like cafeteria style. We (just 2 of us) were there for a "special occasion" and were seated in a large booth (nice) but didn't feel very private. The noise within the restaurant was TREMENDOUSLY loud!! Service from our waiter was less than adequate... i.e., I was never asked for a refill of bottled water or coffee. If I were to plan on spending $$$$ again, I would prefer to go to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse!"

  • "I have never been let down by Arnie Morton. This is a true steakhouse offering exactly what you want in a steakhouse- chop and wedge salads, lobster bisque, baked potatoes, spinach and asparagus and obviously tasty, tender, delicious steaks- from petit filet to porterhouse. Simply wonderful."

  • "it made it more noisy. Since Landry's bought Morton's, they've been doing things to enliven the place. Some have worked, and some--like changing the music--have failed miserably. What I always liked about Morton's was the private club feel. Some Landry's changes have done away with that. The Managers no longer wear tuxedos, and the music changed from classic Sinatra style to a mish mash of new age, techno, and no-name wanna be's. With the remodel, the furniture that broke the place up has been replaced, & a few more tables have been added. It's noisier, and the bar washes into the restaurant without any discernable break. The food is still great and perhaps more accessible due to value pricing and new, daring menu items."
