  • "Great music and wonderful food with attentive service."

  • "Save your coins! This is worth every penny you will spend. The French 75 is all that. The service and food are top notch."

  • "Found on Bourbon street, Arnaud's combines cajun cuisine with a fine dining experience. Service was great, due to a service team led by a Captain. Food was tasty and wine list was good. Best part, was the live music. There is something really great about a Jazz Trio and Cajun cuisine."

  • "We went to Arnaud's expecting a fabulous dining experience. The first waiter was rude so we asked for another waiter, then the service was excellent. The food was ok, not as good as other NO restaurants we have been to. It was very noisy."

  • "It was an exquisite dining experience. This restaurant has excellent food and service. I would definitely recommend to friends and family."

  • "The Arnaud's brunch is a worthy alternative to the New Orleans tradition of Sunday brunch at Commander's. I thought the food was top-notch (shout-out to the terrific Crab cheesecake), and the service was excellent. Special note: the jazz trio is a particular delight since it combines a soprano (!) saxophone, guitar and base. The result is a somewhat softer take on jazz brunch, but one that allows more conversation, even when they are close by. We will be back."

  • "I loved everything about this Resturant!!! The four courses were almost to much, make sure your really hungry. I'm not used to being serenaded while eating and this was a winner for me. Every entree was timed perfectly and the food was excellent."

  • "This was a very good place to eat. The snail appetizer was amazing! Very delicious! However, I got a fish entree, David I believe, and it was not very good at all. Everything else was very good, I was just disappointed with the fish. I would eat here again"

  • "This was our 46th wedding anniversary dinner! Everyone made us feel so special-from the waiters to the band and all those in between! The food was excellent and the portions generous! The band even played a special song for us at our table and insisted we dance! This was a memorable experience that we will treasure! They even had us a heart balloon to mark our table."

  • "The restaurant is over rated. Did not receive value for the money."

  • "We greatly enjoyed our dinner at Arnauds! The food was delicious from start to finish. We greatly appreciated the serenade from the jazz band for the birthday girl. Made it a memorable moment for our family, thank you!"

  • "We ate in the room with the musicians playing jazz. I had shrimp remoulade followed by trout meuniere and then bananas Foster. My Loyola bound son had turtle soup and then a chicken entree and shared the Foster. The meal was my favorite in New Orleans in years."

  • "We come here for Jazz Brunch (Sundays) every time we have guests in town. The jazz trio is fantastic and can perform almost any request you have! The brunch it self is excellent, very traditional and perfectly prepared. I highly recommend the Creole Cream Cheese Evangeline followed by the Eggs Sardou, however whatever you order I think you will be pleased."

  • "Great food & service! Only negative was a large party at a nearby table with very loud people. Will definitely return when in New Orleans."

  • "Nothing better than a first class French restaurant in the French Quarter of New Orleans. Arnaud's is that restaurant. Old world ambiance. Attentive service. Varied menu with superior food quality and presentation. Wonderful experience."

  • "It is an unique restaurant. There are lot's of movies shoot in this restaurant. Try to sit near by the band. I have seen many restaurants all over the world. This is very historic and unique one.loved everything there."

  • "This was our first time at Arnaud's, and it lived up to its reputation! What a great French Quarter restaurant experience! The only reason we gave the ambience a slightly lower rating is that it was pretty loud in the dining room... but we didn't let that bother us too much. I would love to go again! Appetizers, entrees, and dessert, it was all delish!"

  • "I booked a business dinner here originally for 7 but had to move it up to 8 at the last minute. The entire staff could not have been more friendly, professional and accommodating. Outstanding, upscale New Orleans staple - everything was exceptional from the wine to the bread pudding. The adjacent cigar bar is a great spot to finish the evening - much more intimate and quiet for conversation."

  • "Outstanding brunch!!! The menu is original and inventive, the food is outstanding, and the service is superb! Sitting in the Jazz Bistro section of the restaurant allows diners to enjoy a trio of old-time-jazz singers that serenade the clientele. It's a wonderful experience!"

  • "Made the reservation a month in advance. Received a phone call two days later letting me know my Reservation confirmed and "looking forward to see us". On the day of, food and service was 5 star! very classy. They are so confident with their steaks that they don't use knifes!! Filet Mignon was outstanding. Ambience, music..highly recommend it!!!"

  • "We had a Sunday brunch at Arnaud's - it was recommended to us as something we need to do during our brief visit to New Orleans, and, as recommended, we requested seating in the Main Dinning room. The room is probably the best part at Arnaud's. The experience was nice, yes, but the whole atmosphere had the odor of being pretentious. The food was good but not excellent, the service was good but not perfect, and the dressing code expressed on Arnaud's web page ("... Collared shirts are required for gentlemen. No shorts, t-shirts or flip flops are permitted."), was not enforced. If having guests of all sorts has become more important for the restaurant than style, then the web page should be updated to reflect that."

  • "We come back to Arnaud's every time we visit New Orleans, typically for brunch. This was our first time for dinner and they did not disappoint. The Stuffed Quail was delicious and the staff was knowledgeable and attentive. Will definitely be back for dinner next visit."

  • "Words cannot describe how fantastic our dining experience was at this restaurant. Everything from the ambience, to the service, and most importantly, the food. Every bite was scrumptious and heavenly. We had the shrimp creole and the crawfish Oconnor. I would also recommend their signature cocktail, the French 75. The service was 5 star. The setting was georgous. You will not disappointed. Make sure to visit the maradi gras museum upstairs after your meal."

  • "Big crowd (Father’s Day Jazz Brunch). Staff made it look easy. All food arrived at one time, was hot, and presented with a flourish. Cost was a bargain."

  • "We went to Arnaud's a couple of years ago for their Jazz Brunch and swore we would not go back, especially with our choices of great restaurants in NOLA. At that time the food was mediocre and the service was horrible. We only went back recently because my dad wanted to go for Father's Day. He had never been to Arnaud's and, well, it was his choice after all. I must say that the restaurant has redeemed itself. The food was fantastic and the service was great. This is what I would expect from one of the oldest and well respected restaurants in New Orleans."

  • "Who knew that pistachios could change the flavor and texture of a salad. We found out that the red items on the menu listed as specialties of the house were indeed special. We enjoyed shrimp Arnaud, shrimp creole, and the Arnaud salad. The chicken and andouille gumbo was great. We've already planned our choices for our next three visits."

  • "We were visiting from California (May 21-28) and made reservations several weeks in advance. We also called to let them know 2 of us were oil-free vegans which presents a great challenge. We received a telephone call a few days prior to our reservation from the manager who had his chefs on the line as well. We discussed in detail our restrictions and they came up with a perfect menu for us. When we did have dinner, it was spectacular. Kudos, Kudos!! I must say that we had the opposite treatment from Antoines - in fact their treatment of us was horrible. We highly recommend Arnauds. Very classy place. Thank you Arnauds!!"

  • "First, the service was impeccable. We were greeted and say very quickly and our waiter was very courteous and efficient. We never waited long for any request. Second, the food was absolutely amazing. From the soup to the main course, it was great. For two people, we each had soup, an appetizer, and they allowed us to split one entree and served it separately. Third, the ambience is very nice. The three piece jazz set that comes around to each table for requests is a nice touch. The only thing I will agree on is if you sit next to a window, be prepared to see some New Orleans Bourbon Street activity. (We saw a female flashing someone out the window and a homeless man that passed out under our window in which dozens of people took pictures)"

  • "Amazing room ambiance and secret museum. Our server, Ron, was friendly and eager to please. The wine list was lacking and both the 'wine-girl' and the Maitre'D did not know enough about the wines to make a good suggestions. The menu was made of paper and had food stains on it from previous diners. The options were limited, focused toward tourists with little real NOLA flavor and overpriced. The crab cheese puff was a plate sized puff shaped like a crab, with cheese and very little crab inside. The tile floor was so slippery I could barely walk in the dining room. The gray-hairs next to us were wearing golf shirts and shorts! (See Yelp reviews! I didn't want them to be true, but they are on point. It's not too late to change that!)"

  • "we had a great time. food was very good, service was great. ask for jasper! the roving jazz band was a lot of fun. nice guys. it is a a staid, old-timey place--not cutting edge, but frankly, in new orleans, you need to get comfortable with the fundamentals, first, and this is a good place to do it."

  • "Service and food were great! We especially enjoyed the drinks at the bar next door (same owners), French 75 before dinner. Vince the bartender was amazing! What GREAT cocktails in a sophisticated but unpretentious environment. Jeff, our server at dinner was also wonderful and attentive. Wonderful coffee presentation at the end of the meal."

  • "Had dinner in the jazz bistro. House salad, crab cakes, veal tournedos, potato souffle & bananas foster. Bottle of Bordeaux white at $48 was delicious (very reasonably priced list). Salad, cakes & dessert were excellent, veal was good - a bit tough cooked medium, I've had better. Potatoes were disappointing. Atmosphere is informal (not stuffy at all) despite requirement to wear a collared shirt & service was very professional. Live music was a plus. All in all, very good."

  • "The restaurant is beautiful, the wait staff helpful and attentive. The food was very good. The shrimp bisque was the best part of dinner. My wife felt that that there were too many almonds on the gulf fish almondine. I didn't know that was possible. I thought my chicken Clemenseau was really tasty, crispy chicken but still moist and tender on the inside. I couldn't finish my pecan pie because I had eaten enough. We had a reservation for 6:30 and I think it was too early, there was hardly anyone in the dining room which feels funny. By the time we left the crowd was about right. 7:30 might be a better time. "
