Armani Ristorante 5th AvenueVery good location with aVery good location with a nice view over the 5th Avenue. We went there for lunch. Ravioli and lasagnetta were very good, kids took scallops and loved them, duck with sweet cherries was wonderful, although my husband didn't quite like his melaneese schnitzel. Overall impression is very nice. I'd love to go there again.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMA great experience, the managerA great experience, the manager was very accommodating to my table request, and the staff were pleasant and efficient. I couldn't fault it, everything was just perfect for lunch. Both me and my guest had a crisp, chilled pinot grigio which was delicious, and a good sized pouring (I hate it when restaurants scrimp on that) and I had the baked cod which was very nicely cooked and presented. We shared a rich, chocolate dessert which also hit the spot. I will definitely be going back!4/30/2013 12:00:00 AMThis restaurant is not yourThis restaurant is not your typical "retail store" eatery. It's environment is open and comfortable, with a great corner view of 5th Avenue. Service is consistently good. Our experience on this visit was great. Brunch was fabulous, and the appetizer unique and also delicious! Good bar, as well. Will definitely return for dinner!4/28/2013 12:00:00 AMThe Culinary ChaseThis is our second time here and it was just as delightful as the first time (for my birthday in February). Our friends from out of town joined us Friday night and they enjoyed every minute...I know they'll be back.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent restaurant to haveExcellent restaurant to have lunch. Overall a great experience, food is very northen italian and well prepared, exquisite perhaps, great for refined palettes. Tasty selection of half bottles on wine list, always a plus.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful food and great personalWonderful food and great personal attention. Pre theatre menu is perfect3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMWe were very impressed withWe were very impressed with the restaurant overall. It is a great location for lunch and shopping on fifth avenue. We each had wonderfully fresh and well prepared fish as a main course and we split a pasta special as an appetizer. It may just be a petty issue but the pasta was a special and was twice the price of any pasta on the menu so it was a 50 dollar pasta and the special was recited by the server without a price. We didn't really care because it was delicious but it would have been nice to have been told. Maybe specials should be listed on a menu sheet so prices can be seen. I think this is an age old problem ....it seems tacky to have the waiter recite the price but it is also tacky to take advantage of customers3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMBest service I have seen inBest service I have seen in NYC!!! I will go back because the food was terrific and the service fabulous. (Thank you Jordan)
The little extras from the chef really made this a wonderful experience.3/17/2013 12:00:00 AMSt Paddys Parade from Armani. This restaurant has no peer when it comes to the view of not only Fifth Ave but the epicenter of fashion retail; 57th and Fifth.
Our experience was extraordinary because of the St Patricks Day Parade and the unbelievably beautiful snowfall that accompanied it.
We had the price fixe and wine pairings. Superb.
Very attentive staff, mostly quite friendly.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMHidden GemWe love this restaurant. The best Italian food outside of Italy. It is a gem unknown to many I think. We love lunch or dinner here. We have celebrated many events here!3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMAnother great experience at ArmaniWith the best osso bucco in town, a number of other inspired dishes that taste great and are impeccably presented (and terrific bread rolls too!), Armani Ristorante is really a favorite. A fine dining experience with great (albeit sometimes slow) service, this is a consistently great restaurant that's always worth visiting.1/10/2013 12:00:00 AMThis is a fine Italian restaurantThis is a fine Italian restaurant with an ambiance very in keeping with the Armani image.
The service is caring without being overbearing and the cuisine is fresh and beatifully presented. Nothing complicate, just fine Northern Italian cuisine.12/14/2012 12:00:00 AM
