The Arizona Inn is an historic resort spread over 14 tranquil acres of gardens, flowers and lawns in the heart of mid-town Tucson.
The Inn offers AAA Four Diamond Award winning dining in our Main Dining Room with cathedral-ceiling and fireplace as well as our more intimate Catlin Room with views of the gardens. The Dining Room provides legendary service in an elegant yet comfortable setting for breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch. Chef Allison combines classic cuisine with seasonal ingredients and innovative techniques. The menus change with the seasons to feature the freshest ingredients. Wine Spectator has recognized the wine list with an Award of Excellence.
The Audubon Bar, with live piano music nightly and patio seating, provides a perfect setting for enjoying a classic cocktail.

  • "Top notch service & the live piano was lovely. Had to wait for outdoor seating (outdoor tables oddly cannot be reserved) but preferred because the dining room smelled musty. Once outside, though, hotel guests were coming & going along the outdoor walkways in front of our table. Many diners were hotel guests (one actually sitting in her gym clothes, working on her laptop, eating amidst us) which added to this place feeling more like a hotel restaurant than a fine dining establishment. Additionally, the crowd is not vibrant and tends to be on the retirement age side, and while the food was good, it came out really quickly (making me wonder about the freshness). For the price I'd rather go somewhere where the entire experience speaks to me."

Would have preferred a very light garlic olive oil sauce on them. It was my birthday dinner, hugely disappointed. Won't be back real soon."

A reasonable wine selection but no interesting beer--nothing on tap and no micro-brews. Service was attentive although servers seemed to lack experience--not as polished as one would expect in this type of restaurant. Still a very pleasant experience."

We had a very nice server who was attentive and helpful. We had wanted to order something that was not on the regular menu but on the bar menu and the server was very accommodating. Our salads and entrees were very good and the portions were quite big for such rich foods. We could not even finish the entrees! My husband was given a free dessert for his birthday. He got the blueberry cheesecake, which he enjoyed a lot. The plate had happy birthday written in chocolate, so cool! Overall, the Arizona Inn did not disappoint. We will return for more special occasions! :)"

Plating of asparagus radiating like 3 spokes of a wheel made presentation unbalanced. Couldn't discern the flavor of the RED salad dressing on the lettuce wedge salad:, which should have been crisper. However, my drink was excellent."

  • "The service at the Arizona Inn is impeccable. The amuse bouche was lovely. I had the salmon with Brussels sprouts. My husband had the beef tenderloin. The salmon itself was cooked very nicely, served hot, with a nice texture on the outside. The sprouts were tough due to undercooking, while the pasta was overcooked and the tomato was bland and watery. The beef tenderloin was also served very rare, not the requested medium rare, but it was tender and flavorful. Dessert: The creme brulée was good, as was the rosemary ice cream. The red velvet donut tasted a little like an old fridge. We probably won't be back for some time. There are better meals for less available elsewhere, although the service is always a high point at the Arizona Inn."

  • "Nice ambiance and historic, but overpriced. Food is no different than you can get for breakfast at the better local Mexican eateries. There was a musty smell coming from the wall near our table. There was bread listed on the menu as part of the brunch, but it did not arrive until we were almost finished with our meal. It was still being baked when we arrived. Why it was not ready when the restaurant opened, I do not know. After all the wait, it was not very good bread. The staff was attentive and the service was generally good."

  • "The food was amazing! Every bite we ate was perfect! The food was deliciously interesting and satisfying. I couldn't imagine eating another bite once we had finished our amazing dinner. I really haven't had food this special in a long time. The drink menu was impressive, we each tried a different kind of margarita and my husband also had a glass of wine. The wine list was impressive on its own. My only concern, I guess it must have been "busy". Our waiter's initial visit to our table took several minutes, and no one brought us water in the meantime. So we sat for at least 10-15 minutes before getting anything. After that initial wait everything else was amazing. We will definitely go back for a special occasion"
