A word from Arielle's Country Inn
Thank you to our customers for voting Arielle’s Country Inn:
BEST RESTAURANT OF BUCKS & MONTGOMERY COUNTY for the second year in a row, 2011 and 2012 Reader’s Choice Awards, The Intelligencer.

Arielle's Country Inn, located on Allentown Road, is housed in a beautifully appointed, historic, stone building dating back to 1754. Used as a stagecoach stop in the 18th century, the restaurant still retains that warm country atmosphere. Chef/owner, Jacques Colmaire, uses locally sourced, fresh, high quality ingredients to skillfully prepare food for you to enjoy. Diners can choose from Prime steaks, fresh seafood, pasta and other specialities which are all cooked to order and served in a romantic, candlelit dining room, enhanced with a fireplace and cozy bar. Garden dining is available amid a beautiful flower garden in the summer months. We look forward to having you as our guest! Continued

Diner Reviews
  • "We have always enjoyed Arielle's. The owner takes great pride in what she serves and how she serves it. We have never had a bad meal there. We keep coming back, and have brought many people into the fold. Great food, reasonable price. Great spot for special occasions."

  • "We had a nice meal, romantic - appropriate for a wedding anniversary, but comfortable for informal dining as well. If you want to eat outside, you must contact the restaurant directly."

  • "We gave Arielle's a second chance after a disappointing first time. It has gone downhill even further . They did not have several of the items listed on the menu. Also they were out of Chardonnay and had the improper wine glass. Our wait staff was inexperiened although pleasant enough. Don't think we will be back."

  • "We attended a wine tasting and dinner event and it was excellent. The food was fresh and delicious. Chef Jacque will always make you happy!"

  • "Mundane menu, even more mundane wine list. Food competantly prepared, reasonably priced. . Bar is a nice romantic place for a drink. Not worth the long drive to Sellersvile."

  • "Everything was as expected as we go to Arielles on special occaisions . Everytime we go there it gets better and better . Highly recommend but expect to pay a higher price then most places but well worth it"

  • "We have driven by Arielle's many times over the years and always thought how lovely it was. So glad that we finally had the chance to enjoy an evening there with 2 other couples on Saturday. Beautiful garden setting on a quiet terrace. We were delighted with each drink, appetizer, salad, meal, and dessert. Everything was perfectly prepared and presented. Our server was attentive and the owner stopped by. Can't wait to go back!"

  • "Looks great. Country charm. Service was spotty. We did not have any specials given To. When another foursome came in they were. Took forever to get check. It felt we were just secondary to the next time/group of diners yet to come. The food, while good, was not special. "

  • "This place is so-oo very romantic and the food is perfect every single time we go. The portions are large for fine dining, and the chef does not scimp on top ingredients. We go out for fine dining a lot so we are quite picky and this place rocks! The owner has it decorated so warm and cozy, you'd think you were at someones country home."

  • "It's very seldom that you find a restaurant that has it all, unless it's a 5 star place in a large city. This is a quaint country inn that could compete against some of the most known restaurants in center city and put them to shame. The place itself is charming, the waitstaff is accomendating, friendly and knowledgable. The food was delicious and the menu has just enough choices. My husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary and it couldn't have been improved upon. It was an outstanding night. What a gem to find in this out of the way neighborhood. I want to keep it our secret!"

  • "This place gets better and better! Had a wonderful Easter dinner. Have dined in many fine dining restaurants in my life, but never had oyster shooters! The appetizer was absolutely one of the best I've ever had. Oysters soaked in vodka and served in shot glasses....big plump, takes two bites to eat, oysters! Shared an order with my sister....next time I will eat them ALL myself! The rack of lamb was excellent, too. A very generous portion....had them for dinner the next night....what a treat. Have not had a bad meal here....If you are looking for good food in a lovely setting, you must try it!"

  • "We've been going to Arielle's for years and our last 2 visits were disappointing. Easter dinner in 2014 was really unpleasant. I ordered clams in whiter sauce for entrée. White sauce means olive oil and garlic (maybe some wine)....this was served in a cream sauce----YUK!! The clams were dirty and gritty. Vegetables were undercooked. They also need to either add some "white noise" or remove a few tables because you practice ally sit on top of the table next to you and there is no way of escaping their conversations! We love the quaint farm house essence, but we felt crowded and couldn't have our own conversation because the table next to us (less than 12" away) were quite vocal (not loud, just active). "

  • "Very nice, quiet, and cozy.My steak was cooked to perfection. The only thing I thought was strange was that our waitress was the owner, and she asked for our order, and did not ask us if we wanted a cocktail,we had toask her."

  • "Our party of four had an early Friday evening dinner. My wife and I decided on the fresh clams and pasta. The clams were excellent-the freshest we have had in a long time and no sand!! Because my wife is Italian and makes her own pasta, she felt that the pasta was over cooked. The wait staff was prompt and attentive, keeping our water glasses filled and the wine cool."

  • "We have dined here before. Ambience is charming 18 th century American. Food on other occasions was great. This time it was good. The tortellini was great, the short ribs just good but not as flavorful as I had hoped ( the reduction flavor was not noticeable). Still this place is a gem."

  • "Hubby and I were there Sat nite for dinner w my brother and wife. It was one if the best group meals ever. My brother is on a gluten, dairy and egg free diet and they catered to his every need without batting an eye! Service was awesome, atmosphere was terrific, and you can't beat the food. Will go there again and I highly recommend it!"

  • "My husband and I have been ti Arielle's which we found on Open Table. The outside looks like a farmhouse you would just pass by. Very quaint and inviting. One you enter the door, you enter a fine dining establishment with an extensive menu, excellent and attentive service and a dining experience you would expect to find in a major city. We brought my sister and brother in law who live in Staten Island and are used to sophisticated dining experiences. The food was excellent and the choices were unique and they will be back!"

  • "We drive 25 miles one way to get to Arielle's....and our mouths are watering all the way up, and we are sighing happy sighs on the way home. The food here is so fine, the service is excellent, the atmosphere is elegant and romantic. (We sat by the fireplace on a cold and rainy night our last visit). I can only say wonderful things about this beautiful restaurant. And when the weather is good, they have outside seating in such a beautiful garden setting....try it! This place is the real deal!"

  • "Food was excellent, with good selection, Service was good but could be refined a bit. Decor of an old farm house that was quiet enough for good conversation. Very nice place"

  • "We've ate at Arielle's a number of times and it has been a pleasant experience. The specials were great. Nice atmosphere."

  • "Arielle's never disappoints. This was our fourth visit, which pretty much speaks for itself. The food is top-notch, the service is attentive (although quite slow this visit, which generally is not an issue, anyway), and the ambience is delightfully old world."

  • "It must have been an off day for the chef. My daughter and I order the Linguine in White Clam Sauce. The pasta was only warm and rubbery for both of us, and the portions were small. Usually the food is great here. We will give them another try in the near future... hoping this was just a bad day."

  • "First experience here. Early weeknight and had the place to ourselves. Only issue was that it was very cold in the place. Otherwise good food, nice atmosphere."

  • "We searched on-line for restaurants near Sellersville where we might dine prior to a show at the Sellersville Theater. We were very pleased to find Arielle's. It was a charming Inn. The menu was further complemented by numerous specials. Everything was delicious with top notch service. We will definitely return and also recommend to others."

  • "Took my sweetheart here for Valentine's day. This is our third trip here in the last year and I felt compelled to give these folks a little recognition. The food is really good. The menu is a little eclectic, but hits all the major beats that anyone could want. The atmosphere is outstanding and ranks very well with much higher priced places. Can't wait for warmer weather so that we can dine outdoors again. We have enjoyed all of our trips here immensely and always look forward to going back. Can't say that about many places. Great job guys! Keep it up!"

  • "We very much enjoyed our meal at Arielle's. The seating was nice because there is enough space to enjoy some privacy and for wait staff to do their job without banging into dinner guest. Food and service was great."

  • "Drinks were ample; service good, food was excellent. We sat in the fireplace room where there was quite a draft coming up through the floor boards. This is to be expected in an older place! Would request a different room when we go back again. Highly recommend!"

  • "Had a wonderful experience @ Arielle's. Great and attentive staff . Food presentation and quality was exceptional, timing was un-rushed and comfortable, My wife and i shared Clams Casino and were probably some of the best we have ever had. My wife had the Scallops and I had the Ahi tuna which was perfectly done rare. Favors were outstanding. A memorable evening. Looking forward to returning to this local gem."

  • "This charming historic stone inn was the perfect place for an intimate dinner on a snowy night ... especially with a table near the fire! The food was extremely tasty, served in a timely manner and piping hot. My husband's steak had been perfectly cooked; my veal scallopini was excellent; sides of haricot vert and creamy potatoes ... perfect accompaniments. We have put this spot on our list of places to take all our out of town guests, and plan to go there many more times in the future!"

  • "Every one in our party of six was very pleased. Four were first time visitors and they are already looking forward to their next visit. The food was very good and our waitress was exceptionally accommodating and attentive. For those looking for something different and a step up before a show at the Sellersville Theater, this place fills the bill. A 6:00 reservation got us out in plenty of time for an 8:00 show."

  • "Historic country inn. Beautiful old structure, nicely decorated for the season. Accommodating staff and nice selections wonderfully presented. Wife and I both ordered the veal. Would return and recommend the steak or seafood dishes- more of a house specialty."
