The food was good and service was good, despite what previous reviews say about the service being slow. What I enjoyed most was the music playing while you enjoy your meal is best! 70's, 80's blend with a touch of 90s at least that how it was when I was there. Loved it!

Your service was terrible. Waitresses were slow/rude. Kitchen got our order wrong (forgot chicken on salad) and then we were charged for the chicken on the bill anyway and offered no free dessert or anything. Took 10 minutes for them to resolve bill.

The pizzas were good, although limited for a pizza place- there were about 6 options. The service was lousy. The waitress came to the tAble to take the order, drop off the food and get the bill. The pizza even slid from the metal stand to the floor because it was an old lopsided stand.

I hadn't been to Aria for quite some time, even though I work right next door. I was so pleasantly surprised to discover that Aria's patio dining area serves the same great salads Aria serves indoors. I highly recommend any of the salads with grilled chicken. Tasty!

I arrived at Aria at 6 PM on a Wednesday to find an almost empty interior restaurant, but pretty full outdoor seating. I was seated alone as my friend was meeting me at the restaurant. It took about 15 minutes before I got a glass of water (long enough for the hostess and another waitress to inquire if I'd been served at all yet), the food was lack luster Italian, and the food runner came to our table at least three times with food that was not ours. While the location and outdoor seating is great, as long as you aren't on the Happy Hour side, they can't overcome my poor service, or eating experience.

Companion complained of noise inside so we sat outside, and it was hot and v noisy too due to loud music nearby. Also told by guy when I arrived they didn't have room inside for us, though I told him I booked. He seemed quizzical about my booking. Waitress was not attentive and I had to go inside chasing the bill.

Grab a seat outside (the patio is very well shaded in the afternoon / early evening), get a drink from the bar and enjoy the shaded outdoors with live music. That is Aria in a nutshell. The pizza is good. When they have the grill outside going, they have a more expanded menu. But this is a place to enjoy the outdoors. The bartender is always friendly and the atmosphere is always inviting.

When we arrived, the hostess led us to a table that was being moved because a family of 6 didn't have quite enough room with the three tables (that could seat 4) they were currently using. We had to stand there and listen to the hostess, family, and server argue. There were plenty if other tables we could have sat in! By the time we got seated, we were both so grossed out by the situation we ordered drinks and then left.

The staff was having a difficult time taking care of customers inside and on outdoor terrace. There were many bugs including flies on outdoor dining patio. The order came out incorrectly but the food was good quality. The garlic knots served with salad were not a good bread selection for them to be giving to customers. I would not go back.

Pros: In Reagan Center, they validate your parking, food was good Cons: Music up way to loud for people to talk with each other, limited menu, outdoor seating area was closed on the most perfect Spring day of the year, staff was more interested in closing early. This is our 2nd time prior to a Capitol Steps show. Staff performance consistent: OK service, OK pleasantries, makes excuses for issues as mngrs/kitchen fault. Menu seems limited for price point this venue is shooting for in terms of variety, quality, and presentation. I may be spending $13 on parking next time to patron one of the places across the street and not get validated. This place is probably great for lunch, but not for dinner on a special night out before a show.

Was busy and very loud at the bar. Alot of roudy people I guess from an after work crowd was there. Service was slow but staff was nice. Food was average nothing spectacular. Due to happy hour they ran out of better beers. I wouldn't bring children there at happy hour, even though there is a restaurant area, stiil have noise kids don't neef to hear. If you want bar scene with average food this is your place...just get there at start of happt hour if you want decent beer.

We were seated immediately for our reservation which was great. However, we waiting over 10 minutes just to be greeted by our waitress. Then, it was another 10 minutes for her to return to get our drink order. By then we were ready to order our meal as well. Our drinks took another 15 minutes to arrive, the meals we ordered took 40. The waitress checked on us only one time during that 40 minutes. Our plates were empty for a substantial amount of time and we had to seek out the waitress for our bill. Thankfully we had enough cash to settle up so we didn't have to wait any longer. 2 hours for a couple of panini's and chips is ridiculous!

I made a reservation for a group of 10 people. It was supposed to be a lunch for my team. Your wait staff rushed us out of the restaurant and basically stood over our table making us feel uncomfortable and as if we had to rush and finish our meal. Your restaurant was not filled to capacity and people were not waiting to be seating. I often treat my staff to lunch and, in the future, your restaurant will not be our place of choice because of the poor service we received.

For such a limited menu, Aria could do a better job on what it sends out of the kitchen. It's a convenient place if you're at Federal Triangle and don't want a full meal. Service at this venue (Aria and its predecessors) has never been good. It's adequate, if tardy; not particularly knowledgeable; amiable but not particularly friendly or welcoming. There is so much potential, particularly for happy hour and service. Oh well. I'll come back because it's right there.

I've been wanting to go to Aria for a while. My daughter, who shares a name with the restaurant, asked that we take her to Aria for her 10th birthday dinner. We got the the restaurant around 7pm. It was virtually empty. As previous reviewers commented the music was WAY TO LOUD! AND ANNOYING. it was impossible to maintain a conversation. Music was tired R&B. The service was awful - waited 20 minutes for a waiter only to be told to move to another section in the empty restaurant as our waiter went home. Food was mediocre at best. I would rather to Olive Garden or Sbarro. Do not go to Aria. I give it a couple of years before it's made into a McDonalds. It can't happen soon enough.

This place should probably be considered more of a tourist place than anything else. The food was sub-par; the personal pizzas looked appetizing though all toppings slid off when people tried to eat a slice. The majority of people in my group had paninis. The paninis were comparable to microwaveable Hot Pockets. My biggest complaint, however, about the place was the service. The waitstaff was polite enough but it seriously took 35 minutes for us to get drinks and the waitstaff barely came over to our table. If a place was slammed, I could understand this but the place was very empty with only a few families around.

This place enjoys one of the best locations in DC (largest patio, close to everything, feels European) but unfortunately food and service are mediocre at best. Inside place is dark and has so many TVs you can hardly enjoy time with family / friends. Once in the past my reservation was canceled without prior warning and I returned simple because of the location. What a mistake.

We've been to Aria before but sat outside - this was the first time eating indoors and the first thing we noticed was how loud the music was - which was fine because they were playing great 80s dance music! The food was good - our group ordered the pesto chicken Panini, chicken alfredo, meatball sandwich and a soup and salad combo - a little bit of everything. No complaints! We will likely come back because this restaurant is our go-to for pre-concert dinners. The restaurants around the Verizon Center are always packed and many don't take reservations. This is a nice gem away from the concert crowds if you don't mind walking a few blocks.
