A word from Argiero's Italian Restaurant
Argieros features one of the best patios in Ann Arbor, a full bar, carry out and catering, and delivery from 4-9pm

Argiero's was founded by Rosa, her husband, and their four children and opened in December of 1977. Today, Argiero's is owned and operated by two of the sons, Sam and Carmin.

Argiero's is the only Italian Restaurant, in Ann Arbor, currently run by an Italian family. The Restaurant has been an Ann Arbor favorite for many years. Many loyal customers enjoy its wonderful dishes, relaxed atmosphere, and of course, the covered outside patio.

If you are looking for home-style Italian food, Argiero's is a can't miss, where we prepare our sauce daily. Also, don't forget Argiero's has the best pizza in town! Pull up the menu and come try one of your personal favorites from the Italian dishes on our menu.

I came with a group of 8 for my birthday dinner, and it was wonderful! The wait staff was SO hospitable, and the atmosphere was perfect for a birthday dinner. Not loud like many of the downtown restaurants -- we were able to have conversations and laugh and hear each other, but we weren't being too loud in the restaurant (it wasn't silent).

First time to Argiero's, but had a great experience. The temperature was perfect for outdoor dining and we just loved watching the activity in Kerrytown. I was looking for a traditional Italian restaurant with lots of the staples that come with one. Argiero's is just what I was looking for! No frills or gimmicks. Good food, nice people, good service.

Price of food was greater than quality of food. Lack luster service. Would not recommend. There are way better places in A2.

The best part about Argiero's is the food! And I also appreciate that they have Sangiovese, you can't find that at all restaurants.

Family owned and run. It's like going home to your mama's for comfort food and I'm not even Italian. The eggplant Parmesan and the Alfredo are scrumptious. Good selection of Italian wine and beer. I like their Montepulciano. It goes so we'll with the red sauce. It is in the same block with the picturesque Ann Arbor Farmers Market and Kerrytown shops.

Quaint restaurant off the beaten path. Reminds me off New York's Little Italy. Service was outstanding, pasta dishes were good, but nothing special; however, pizza was particularly good. Affordable. Would definitely recommend.

The patio seating is the only thing I really enjoyed. It is beautiful and the day was prefect. The food was mediocre. We ordered the antipasti appetizer and what came out was a few slices of meat and cheese from a grocery store deli. The entrée and dessert were better, and I like that they have a focus on making things in-house, but still nothing to make me want to come back. As for the service, I don't understand why it would take twenty minutes to get a bottle of wine and four glasses, much less the amount of time between water refills and courses. All in all, an OK place, but there are so many great places nearby, why settle?

Argiero's provided "okay" Italian food. The outdoor patio was nice, and after reading reviews, we expected middle-of-the-road fare. The problem was that the food was at Palio's or Paesano's prices, both of which are "good" Italian food.

Host was not very welcoming (no smiles, seemed distracted, made us feel a bit unwelcome). The waitress was delightful. The food was very good. Chianti Classico was a bit off but the Italian Pinot was very nice.

Food came out one dish at a time. Some never came. My friends pasta was overcooked. The server was doing the best she could but the kitchen here is incompetent, and management does not seem to care. We won't go back.

We decided to go Argiero's at the last minute and had not been there in some time. Sadly, the restaurant is still the same old, same old. Food is just OK. my veal piccata came out drenched in sauce with the meat over cooked. The dish was not made with heart...it seemed like it was more like lets get the order out. Indeed, the overall delivery of food was too rapid, leaving us little time to enjoy. My wife's pizza was actually quite good. But my rating is only good at best. Argiero's could really be a gem, but they need to really focus on food quality, presentation and taste.

  • Celebration Dinner

I was trying to find a restaurant to fit a large group of friends for a celebration dinner. We've been to the typical A2 places before (Sava's, Palio, Cottage Inn, etc) but we wanted to try something new. I've been to Argerios before and was really pleased with the experience, but I didn't know if they would be able to accommodate such a large group. I decided to try anyway-- and the service was outstanding! They had a long table ready with multiple members of their wait staff ready to help-- even going so far as to help take group pictures. :) Oh-- and the food was REALLY delicious. YUM.

The food is fantastic but our service was sporadic. Upon our arrival a server fought management because she did not want an additional table. The server we were given was apparently new (?) and forgot to bring our soup and salad. Wine glasses were dirty, refills weren't offered. However, the food was magnificent. I recommend this restaurant for that reason and the hope your service is better!

The most friendly restaurant in Ann Arbor! The owners and servers make you feel as though you are welcome in their home, and expertly answer any questions regarding the menu. They also are happy discussing new and old menu items, which keeps customers coming back for more. The food is always fresh, the pasta is always al dente, and tomato sauce is outstanding. .
