"Have been to Argia's numeous times. The food is good and it's a good value - the mussels Argia are excellent. My only complaint is the service seems to be going downhill and it didn't appear the restaurant was busy enough to warrant slow / unavailable service (refills of beverages, clearing of appetizer plates after the entree was delivered). This was a Saturday night at 5:30 and the waitstaff was pleasant, just not around when you needed them."

"Reservation Service worked fine. Wine and salad fine. Entre's were fair. They had removed the only dish that we ever eat from the menu. Other than that dish we've never found anything on the menu that made the trip worth while."

"I went to Argia's because I was attending a show at the State Theater next door. Since I don't live nearby, I'm not sure I would make a special trip here, but I thought the food was delicious. We had fried calamari (w/a tempura coating which means you can still taste what's inside) w/delicious saffron aoili and spicy tomato dipping sauces, linguine with clams (lots of claims, in the shell and chopped) and the special fish of the day, a dourade with a fantastic orzo side, with tomatoes, braised fennel and parsley. The peanut butter bomba was outstanding. Our server, Mike, was attentive and knew the menu and wines (allowed us to try 3 different ones before we decided which one to have by the bottle - great touch."

"I have been going to Argia's for at least 7 years. It's food is always wonderfully fresh and you can't go wrong with their specials. I especially love the muscles. Tonight we started in the bar, which has great happy hour deals, then had dinner in the main room. My friend had never been before. She had gnocchi and I had pasta puttanesca, both amazing! She said she will be back with her husband...I highly recomend this place for anyone who enjoys truly authentic Italian food."
