Disappointing as that makes up a good portion of their menu. Tuna tartar was good, however somewhat bland, as was the truffled mac-n-cheese. "Meh." The arugula salad was quite large and delicious. Where can you go wrong with pomegranate,goat cheese and balsamic dressing? Not at Areal, where every bite was perfectly balanced. Very good beer selection and really nice outdoor patio. My waiter was great as well; friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. They had excellent salads and delicious homemade granola. I'm a vegan and my fiance does not eat pork - and we noticed there was pork on many of the dishes, so it would have been nice if they had some more options for vegetarians/vegans - but, as said, the salads were filling and delicious, fresh fruit and granola as well. The outside dining space is awesome - nice and wide open (I didn't see the inside of the resaurant). There are really cute bulb lights strung on top so I'm sure its really cute there at night. We LOVED the entire experience! The food was amazing, the staff was the best ever and the ambiance was great!
