And it was great that they split it when I mentioned that my wife and I were sharing. The seven-hour braised leg of baby pig with grits and peanuts was tops. The pastas are great--more than what you normally get at a restaurant that is not a better-than-average Italian place. The steak was excellent. The deserts were outstanding. The service was extremely good--than you Adam! The upstairs dining room is quieter than the downstairs, but not by much when it gets really busy, but the food and service were worth the excess noise. We are happy to have such a great place close to home. We will return again. Our only wish is that it was more accessible. They had 10 valet parking spots. The food was incredible-the purple haze cheese, burrata eggplant Parmesan, and Parmesan cheese fries were an excellent start to the meal--we licked the plates (literally!). The ambiance was wonderful, we were greeted warmly, we were seated at a great table by the bar, and was allowed to take advantage of the happy hour drink menu. Our waiter was VERY informative and quite good at his job. Making recommendations and bringing our drinks promptly. Our water glasses were never below 50% empty, and the menu was appealing.

I had requested a table in a more quiet area and this was accommodated beautifully. The manager and hostess were both aware of this special request and the reason for it.
Bravo all around. And yes, the dinner was delicious.

Our party dined on a pork special, the chicken and veggies, salmon and cod. The wait staff split appetizers for the table and the wine stewart provided the table with excellent recommendations. We had a pasta dish, that was quite good, a salad and a calamari and shimpt dish. The first four were delicious. The calamari was reasonably done, but not on the same level as the other dishes and not on the same level as the our two deserts; a great chocolate tart and different and very tasty cheescake.
