Arch Rock FishLast minute dinner choiceWe were looking for a dinner spot to follow a live play matinee late on a Saturday afternoon. It was a busy UCSB graduation weekend but using Open Table we found a 6:45 reservation available. Our servers were all very pleasant and attentive. We both chose the Seabass for our entree and a cup of clam chowder for me & a small caesar salad for her. Everything was very tasty.6/15/2013 12:00:00 AMBig place but intimate & deliciousExcellent fish and wine list, lots of booths for privacy, very friendly wait staff.6/14/2013 12:00:00 AMAnother good one in SBLooking for a low key place for dinner in downtown Santa Barbara, our hotel concierge suggested Arch Rock Fish. We arrived early and they were still able to fit us in, and at a decent table to boot!
Food was good, so were the drinks. I had the pan-fried Rainbow Trout with cherry tomatoes while the spousal unit had something else. I can't remember what it was, because I was jonesing over my trout! Hers was good, too!6/5/2013 12:00:00 AMDeliciousWent here with a group of four for dinner and everything we had was delicious! The grilled artichoke appetizer was so yummy, they had a good beer and wine selection, and 3 out of 4 of us ordered a seafood dish and loved every bite. I would absolutely come back here and bring more people because it was a lot of fun!5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMexcellentFood was wonderful. Tuna was perfectly cooked. The noisy bar with a hopping happy hour frenzy seemed to disappear as soon as we were seated at our booth.
Decor was simple yet elegant. Enough choices items on the menu to please diff people.5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMFriday DinnerThree diners. One had seafood cobb salad, cioppino, and the seafood platter. Since I was on a special diet, the seafood cobb salad had everything I could eat and really satisfied me. The seafood platter lacked a lot to be desired for the price of $25. Servings were very small on a very large plate, making the servings look even smaller. Did not fill the man up that ordered it. Although the Cioppino was good and had a very good flavor, the soup needed to be thicker. We appreciate the waitress took our Axxess Card and gave us 10% off, as we didn't realize the buy 1 get 1 free didn't apply to Fri. & Sat.5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMBirthdayBrought a friend here for lunch. Friendly staff but I requested
dessert on reservation I had to get the cake without waitstaff
Help. Kinda spoiled the party mood. Other than that , we had a great
Experience. ArchRock rocks !5/23/2013 12:00:00 AMHave been to this restaurantHave been to this restaurant many times. Love the feel of the restaurant and the food is great. The fish selections are immense and have never had a bad meal here. The service is always good - never feel ignored. This is one of our go to places when we want a good evening out to dinner or lunch.5/23/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful cioppino. ServiceWonderful cioppino. Service was outstanding and very pleasant. Were there for lunch on a Saturday so not real busy but still had energy and a vibe.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food/SB gemWhile the server coul've been more helpful and informative (they were out of the steak on 5/4), the food was well-prepardd and delicious, and the wine quality and selection impressive. We don't get there that often, but have found the food great for lunch or dinner. The ability to choose LOCAL fish and wine was a plus!5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMService and food are bothService and food are both excellent. Clam Chowder and the Apple Pie are the best.4/25/2013 12:00:00 AMFun for FoodiesI love Arch Rock's clean menu. I have many dietary limitations and can eat there without concerns. I especially appreciate that the server provided me a card with the exact salad dressing ingredients. Dinner was delicious and service was very good.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMFresh, local, and deliciousThe salmon and salads were fresh, perfectly seasoned and tasty. The mint julep was in a beautiful silver cup with a metal straw... I felt like Scarlett O'Hara! The street the restaurant is on is a little off the beaten track, which might be a good thing. It was pretty quiet and the restaurant was about 2/3 full... If they were on the main drag, it would have been standing room only, the food was that good. Lots of locals; we're from Phoenix, so it was fun to pretend to be a Santa Barbara native for a night.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMReliable, Likable and StableLikable service staff always makes eating here an enjoyable experience. Room to the side of noisy bar is not as comfortable for dining as seating area behind to the back of bar area. Happy hour menu also is not available at dining tables, which is not made clear before being seated and really is an unreasonable policy when seating in bar and patio aren't available. I had the sampler plate and it was tasty and ample.4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMWas fun we were on a lil oneWas fun we were on a lil one day getaway to Santa Barbara and the place was perfect for are night4/16/2013 12:00:00 AMBroad and varied menu, wellBroad and varied menu, well executed. The zero wine corkage fee, if your wine is not on their list, is a major bonus.4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMWe eat a lot of fresh fishWe eat a lot of fresh fish and both my husband and I enjoyed our tasty meals. My plank salmon was perfect as was the cod dish. The chef prepared the salmon to my request which often doesn't happen.4/12/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was our first time atThis was our first time at Arch Rock and it did not disappoint. Service was friendly and competent. When we asked for recommendations/opinions about local beer the staff was well informed and gave very good advice. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend it!4/1/2013 12:00:00 AMWe brought sophisticated BrooklynitWe brought sophisticated Brooklynites for dinner and they were very impressed with food and ambience. Two teenagers, who fortunately liked seafood, were nicely preoccupied with crab legs. we enjoy Arch Rock Fish for good food and service--and because its lively atmosphere doesn't drown out the ease of conversation made possible by cozy booths. We like it as a place to take visitors for extended convesation.4/1/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food. good wine listGreat food. good wine list there were many options with nice variety. The chilled seafood app was amazing. Each item was fresh, cooked perfectly and presented well. I enjoyed the citrus dip.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMMiso cod delicious and servedMiso cod delicious and served hot. Prices reasonable

Thanks again! @sffooddude3/25/2013 12:00:00 AMCame once, and will come again. We came before our show at the Garvin. The food was excellent, and well priced. The service outstanding. Will definitely come again. For dessert, we had the sundae. Enough for 4 people. Absolutely delicious. Highly reccommend .3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMA memorable eveningWe had a delicious and leisurely meal in a very comfortable and private booth. It was the perfect setting in which to catch up with friends we had not seen for a couple of years. The food was delicious and nicely presented. Ambiance is warm and inviting and noise level was very low.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMMy wife and I recently dinedMy wife and I recently dined at Arch Rock Fish for the first time. Being East Coasters, we had to try the Ipswich Fried Clams as a starter. While they weren't the size of Ipswich Clams back home, they were pretty good and the first we have seen in Santa Barbara. My wife tried the Lobster Roll for her entree. It was a bit different take than you get in New England, but she was very satisfied. I had the Miso Cod which was very tasty. My wife particularly liked the Margaritas as they were clearly freshly made as opposed to a premix. We hope to return soon as Arch Rock is a good compliment to the seafood options that we have always gotten at Brophy's.3/21/2013 12:00:00 AMHighly Recommended! We tried multiple items on the menu -- signature drinks, appetizers, sides and main courses -- everything was delicious! Be sure to order the apple pie for dessert (reportedly made by "Mom"). It was amazing!3/16/2013 12:00:00 AM
