Great serviceAll 3 times I've been for dinner and asked for a table away from the rather loud music, they turned the music level down.6/13/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat food and serviceWe had the spicy hummus for an appetizer and it was fantastic! My husband had lamb and I had the Cornish hen - both dishes were delicious and prepared using herbs and spices that made them special. Prices are reasonable and service was excellent.6/5/2013 12:00:00 AMgreat midtown locationthe "Small Plates" are really large! we ordered Quinoa Tabouli & Babaganoush which were delicious and really fresh. the Babaganoush had just enough smoked paprika. The Chicken Apricot Cigars were flavorful and crispy. we ordered the special of the day which was Chicken Brochette which was perfectly grilled and had a wonderful marinade. the Salmon Brochette was also perfectly grilled. Both came with a salad that had really ripe tomatoes and cucumbers, a lemon dressing and white beans. Needless to say, we took a lot home and enjoyed it the next day! The wine selection was very good and reasonably priced. I would definately go back5/26/2013 12:00:00 AMThe chicken cigars for appetizerThe chicken cigars for appetizer were amazing! Wild mushroom ricotta really tasty. The friends I dined with had the tuna, and they LOVED it. Friendly staff. Music was a bit loud, but the staff turned it down the second that we asked.5/22/2013 12:00:00 AMFabulous!!This little gem was a true find! The food was delicious & the service was outstanding. Went there for lunch with friends & we were shocked how quiet & not crowded it was. Midtown is missing out! I can't say enough about the attentiveness of the wait staff. Can't wait to go again.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMA slice of Morocco in mid townFor lunch it was really low key and quite. Must be a lot busier for dinner.
Food was very tasty. Many middle estaern and moroccan dishes.
If going with a group then share several small plates. the small plates are not that small by the way.
serive was very friendly!5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMFun and UniqueFun and unique spot for drinks and small plates. Would not recommend for dinner since it has a ver limited menu for full course entrees. Decor was very dark, middle eastern and exotic. They had Arabic dancing periodically which made it a fun and lively bar scene.5/1/2013 12:00:00 AMA wondeful eveningThis was our first time to Arabesque. We couldn't have been happier or enjoyed it any more. The service and staff was very attentive and made sure our dining experience was a good one. The food was outstanding, and staff was right on target with their descriptions and recommendations for both appetizers as well as our entrée. Our evening was very enjoyable. We will definitely return-- and we will be sure to recommend to others.
Kudos to the staff for a wonderful evening!4/30/2013 12:00:00 AMDelicious food and great service.Delicious food and great service. Ordered the leg of lamb and it was both tender and deliciously seasoned. I also had the good luck of dining on a Wednesday evening which coincided with a free belly dancing class. I would definitely return again.4/24/2013 12:00:00 AMFriendly and accommodating with fooThis was a pleasant restaurant and the manager and staff were friendly and attentive. Food was good but not spectacular. I am daughter of a Turkish chef, so know middle eastern food very well and am quite picky about it. Wished they had couscous and they told me that when I made a reservation next time, I should ask for couscous and they would provide it.....Generally a good experience, noise was moderate (a big plus) and ambience might be called romantic4/11/2013 12:00:00 AMFabulous food, ambience andFabulous food, ambience and waiters. Chicken cigars were delicious. Would highly recommend this restaurant!4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMThis is a gem in an area thatThis is a gem in an area that isn't known for great restaurants. Loud music in the back room, a trade-off for extra ambiance, but we could still have a conversation without shouting. We had the lamb special, nicely spicy and tender lamb kabobs over white beans with a green salad. Reasonably priced. Worth a visit if you're in the area. Nice place to meet for drinks and small plates after work. We definitely would go back.3/28/2013 12:00:00 AMWent mid-week in march. IntimateWent mid-week in march. Intimate tables upfront which are fine. The adventure begins in the lounge in the back which is like stepping onto the set of a Bond movie. A very large, really cool room with a tented ceiling very typical of a morracan hooka lounge. Low, sexy lighting and an attentive staff makes you feel like you're not just watching the movie....you're in it! It was sparsely occupied with more diners up front where a.more traditional dining room looks very nice. But trust me, eat in the lounge...you will wish you were wearing you're white dinner jacket, though totally unnecessary. Btw, when I was there, there were just 3 couples smoking hookas and the flowery scent was really nice...adding to the atmosphere. I despise cigarretes3/27/2013 12:00:00 AMArabesque was a great placeArabesque was a great place to eat. The waiters were very attentive and the food came out fashionably slow so as to enjoy each small plate before the large plates arrived. The food was delicious, and, although the short ribs were delicious also, they did not have a Moroccan flavor to them... more of an french style. The one complaint I have its that is was very dark in the restaurant making it hard to see the menus and food. Very minor complaint though.3/21/2013 12:00:00 AMArabesque had great serviceArabesque had great service and a nice selection on the menu. The small plate portions were quite small and a bit pricey but very nice ambiance, worth the price.3/12/2013 12:00:00 AMI just love this restaurant!I just love this restaurant! I have been bringing customers for lunch for a couple of years the food NEVER disappoints. I will see you soon!2/25/2013 12:00:00 AMDiversify menu to includeDiversify menu to include more relevant Meditteranean food. Hookah and wine prices are very expensive. Otherwise, very nice atmosphere.1/29/2013 12:00:00 AMOverall good atmosphere. HookahOverall good atmosphere. Hookah and wine are overpriced. You may want to diversify the menu and make it more 'Arabesque' :)1/28/2013 12:00:00 AM
