Public Transit: Red/Brown/Purple lines located three blocks west of restaurant. Local buses available as well, notably the 8, 11, and 74.
Parking: Street Parking
Parking Details: Metered parking is available on the streets immediately in front of the restaurant. On Webster and Larrabee on the SIDES of the street bordering Oz Park, parking is meter free. Lincoln Ave the block East of Webster is also meter free. The parking garage for Children's Memorial Hospital located two blocks West of the restaurant on Lincoln Ave is available for a fee.

"I took my husband here for his birthday. We had the foie gras and poached pear salad, both were excellent. For entrees we had the steak and lobster tail. My husband's steak was slightly overcooked but still good. The lobster tail was fantastic especially with the truffle gnocchi. Then we had a cheese plate for dessert. The overall experience was amazing, great atmosphere and good food."

"The only downside to this place is the location unless you live in area. It's a schlep from the Fullerton 'L' stop so taking the 74 or 11 CTA bus is a better bet but well worth the effort. Also not enough room for sidewalk dining. I had the fresh blueberry pancakes with maple which weren't on the menu but offered on Sunday and were outstanding. My friend had the asparagus omelet, bacon & potatoes which were also outstanding. The warm, soft french bread with onion marsala jelly was to die for. Wine list is also very nice although I went with mimosas. I couldn't believe the bill for both entrees, 2 mimosas & a glass of Spanish grenache was only $40. Service was prompt & friendly. Dining room is small but this is definately worth a trip."

"we live in the neighborhood and ate here on a weekend night. the reviews were much better than we experienced. the food was okay (not bad) but not great. service was also fine but not super efficient. I had the short rib which is supposed to be very tender but it was kind of dry. I did enjoy the French onion soup (my husband thought it didn't have enough sherry). he did like the duck crepe. we didn't hate it but didn't love it. we wouldn't not recommend it but we probably won't return."

"We went there pre-theater, and we were the only customers. Since no one else was there, we got great service. The food was good, although they must have run out of Muscat because the pears in the "Muscat-poached Pear Salad" tasted like they came out of a can. All the seating is uncomfortable banquets, except for two very uncomfortable high-top tables for two. The wine list has several moderately priced decent wines. This place is ok for a quick bite on the way to the theater, but not worth a special trip."

"Overall we had a good experience at Aquitaine, our food was good, we ordered a cheese plate (which my boyfriend and I both agreed was better than our meals), the lobster tail, and the salmon. The service was good as well. The ambiance was nice, I love the wallpaper and its nice and dark. It was energetic in there because there was a birthday party going on. I don't know if I'll be back just because there are so many places in the city to try out, but overall it was a pretty good experience."

"Looked like it would be great -- and had high hopes for this neighborhood spot -- service was uneven, at best; wait staff were also bartenders and were befuddled -- even bringing wrong drinks to tables or forgetting; appetizer was served quickly..then main course a half hour after that was cleared; food was ok but not great -- skate wing was over cooked and beet salad tasted like it was out of a can; had a 'trainee' waitress and she was actually better than the owner/manager/head server."
