We came to celebrate a special occasion, our parent's 60th anniversary. The food was very good and well priced. Had not been to Pala Mesa or Aqua Terra in years and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meal.

We had lunch here before exploring the Fallbrook area. I had the blackened, blue-cheese burger, served medium-rare as ordered with hot crispy thin fries. My girlfriend, a discerning lover of salmon, absolutely loved her salmon cake salad. We shared the garlicky baked avocado appetizer. Fallbrook is the heart of avocado country and this was a fine presentation. Our server was attentive and friendly without intruding. Oh, and did I mention, we had a great view, watching the golfers tee off. It was chilly when we visited, otherwise we would have dined on the beautiful patio. We are looking forward to returning whenever we are in the area.

Financial squeeze is hitting everyone, with carpet and upholstery showing wear and stains here and there, but food was excellent. Limited menu for Christmas, but both salmon and pork chop were scrumptious - as was the hot bread.

The food was fantastic.Everything was cooked nicely, we ordered from the 3 course, prix fixed Christmas menu, getting the Steak/Shrimp and the Pork Chops and their accompanying sides. All 3 courses (soup/salad, main, desert) were delicious. When we were seated, we noticed some tables were decorated with Christams wreaths, ours was not.Our server asked us if we wanted to start with a cocktail;she suggested the "Sangria Martini" which my fiancee ordered.Once delivered,we discovered it was simply sangria...We had to ask twice to have bread delivered. When our main courses were delivered, my fiancee was given the lamb chops despite ordering the pork chops. Once we pointed this out and they delivered the pork chop,we were basically ignored.

First date night out after having a new baby (who stayed home with Grandma). Was just craving sushi and decided to try this spot for the first time since it's a little closer to home. We were pleasantly surprised to find a beautiful romantic atmosphere, great bar selections and live music this close to home, along with the great service and food. Highly recommend...there's no reason to drive to the coast for great sushi!

The location was beautiful, however the service was horrible! I had specifically made an open-table appointment for 8 of us for a breakfast meeting at the restaurant. Upon arriving in a timely manner, it was first very difficult to locate the single waitress who was tending to her occupied tables. Once I got her attention, she asked if I had a reservation...said "yes"...and she said that she sat another group at the table that was to be ours because she figured that it was our group. She then told us to hold on while she seated us elsewhere. After ten additional minutes waiting, watching her run around to her occupied tables, delivering food and drinks, I went looking for the manager who ultimately helped us. Service was still very slow.

Have been there several times: twice for lunch, once for Mother's Day brunch and now for dinner. The food and the service have been outstanding every time. This last time was to celebrate a birthday, and included a 1-year old (my grandson!). The service staff was extremely accommodating toward him and everyone else. It is especially nice to find a place with really good food that also works for children!

quite dissapointed! we had to wait a while to be seated. Table was in the coner with a beautiful view of the waterfall and koi pond, BUT behind the band that was playing outside that was so loud we could hardly carry on a conversation. All we could see was the backside of the band and their equipment. 15 minutes later, our server showed up and apologized for the wait by saying, "sorry, we are super slammed tonight this is going to take a while." Another 15 minutes went by before he returned with our waters and we had to tell him we were ready to order!. sAfter 25 minutes, Our food came out cold, overdone and of poor quality. We had to hunt down the server for our check. Surronding diners experieinced the same poor service.

I made reservations for my son and husband's b-day celebration (they share b-days 1 day apart from each other) at the Aqua T. this past Saturday night. The live music was AWESOME!! Our waitress was friendly, helpful, and gave us great service. My husband and I enjoyed a couple of glasses of a local Fallbrook red wine w/ our dinner. My husband ordered the filet mignon and I ordered the local sea bass (tip: request less cooking oil be used if you're watching your weight) both were outstanding dishes. The kids ordered (off the kids menu) a cheese burger which came out burnt but they immediately addressed the problem, the kids pizza got a thumbs up as well as the chicken fingers. Blueberry cheesecake was delicious! Brownies taste store bought

Went there for my daughter's birthday. Very disappointed in the food. We had appetizers: Nachos, buffalo wings and mac and cheese balls. Nachos had hardly any cheese or beans on them. Buffalo wings were very salty and mac and cheese balls were flavorless. Waitress brought a complimentary birthday dessert and the whipped cream was lumpy and gross. I had expected more of such a nice establishment.

We've been in Fallbrook for over two years and been wanting to try your restaurant. We were intrigued by your recent ads and favorable comments from neighbors. However, I must admit that we were disappointed in the above graded areas and feel that improvements can be made. The service was slow and the sequencing was off. Chances of returning are small but we may try your Happy Hour specials sometime in the future.

The food is so so, but the ambiance is great and the scenery is lovely. We were seated in a windowed dining room facing out to the golf course and we could see the pond and the rest of the outdoor patio. Our server seemed a bit overwhelmed at first (he had 3 tables sat at once), but he eventually got settled and was very attentive. I like this place - it's nice but not pretentious and the food is reasonably priced. The outdoor seating is spacious and they have a fire pit where you can sit with your friends and talk over drinks. I'll definitely be coming back with friends for a sushi night or for dining out on the patio when it's warmer.

Its Mothers Day and my husband made reservations at 2 so it would be after the crowd. It was quite busy at 1:30 & that was ok. We dined on the patio & had to wait over 15 minutes before someone came to the table once. There were only 3 other couples out there too. She finally came and we thought we better order our drinks and whatever we wanted because we didnt think she would ever be back! SAD! No water was offered, she didnt ask us if we wanted a cocktail, I had to ask for napkins, no silverware, even after our drinks came another 15 minutes later...ugh! And to top it off, when our salads came, my husbands salad had no dressing. So 10 mins later, I flagged someone down. She never asked about another drink or dessert. Very disappointing...

My wife and I went here for Valentines Day. Our experience was very positive. The food was good and the service outstanding. For Valentines they had a fixed menu which had some excellent selections. The food was well prepared. I had an appetizer of Oysters Rockefeller and the bacon was overcooked. I also think Rockefeller is better when the bacon is chopped. Our entrees were what made the meal. She had the stuffed chicken and I had the filet and shrimp. Both were outstanding. The desserts were excellent. We would definitely go there again.

Interior is quite dated and not in tune with the more contemporary menu, on appearances alone one might not expect the variety and quality of food available. The peanut butter stuffed jalapenos are awesome! We had seen reviews noting poor service but didn't experience any problems, perhaps additional staff were on hand since it was a holiday (Christmas Eve). Overall, an enjoyable dining experience and we plan to go back.

We actually got married at Pala Mesa, so we had eaten at Aqua Terra before. On this night they had a terrible lounge singer that took away from the peacefulness of the venue and the view. The food was good - not great. And our waitress had to make numerous trips to our table instead of bringing the extra dish (for sharing) and additional flatware all in one trip.

The service was spotty. It took a while to get someone to seat us. We went to this restaurant because we try to find a half-way meeting place for our families, one in Temecula the other in Del Mar. There are not many choices that fit this requirement, but we have tried a couple. This was a VERY pleasant surprise! Nice ambiance, good food, excellent service--and according to my husband: great coffee. So, now that we have found it, we will certainly be back! We were there for lunch, so would like to try their dinner and sushi bar.
