AquaknoxOutstanding seafood!AquaKnox has been on my to-do list of restaurants in Las Vegas for quite some time. AquaKnox lived up to my expectations. Highlights of the night included a shared tower of cold seafood as an appetizer, the lobster bisque and the lobster stuffed with crab meat. On the downside, a couple of people in my party just went the meat option - preferring the ribeye. Their comments were that the ribeye was cooked perfectly, but not seasoned properly. I strongly recommend sticking to the seafood options. Overall, a great experience and I will definitely be back!5/21/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful!This the best dinner we had in Las Vegas! I had the seafood soup, my partner the seared scallops. Both dishes were fantastic. Of course, the service was outstanding too. Our waiter was Alan and his assistant was Miller. Both seemed to sense when our wine glasses were needing refill, or water, or anything else. Well we did until we found Aquaknox. They change their menu daily based on the fresh fish and seafood they can get their hands on. The food was absolutely delicious, with no hint of pretention...we actually went back a second night so we could explore more of the food the restaurant had to offer. The setting is just lovely..it is calm and relaxing and you can actually have a dinner conversation...which is lacking at so many of the "hip" celebrity locals. The entire staff, from the hostesses to the servers and even our unexpected visit from the chef thanking us for dining with them was superb. Put in a request to sit off in a quiet area and was seated at a nice table off to the side away from the crowd. Was greated by a great wait staff that took our drink order and even had some great suggestions. Food was delicious! Highly recommend AquaKnox for a special evening out or if you are just in the mood for great food and a pleasant dining experience. Lastly, to our surprise the Chef found out we were military and comped a portion of our meal. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant...5 stars guys, thanks again!

The scallops were superb over truffled cream corn. 1/2 stuffed Maine lobster and fillet was not only amazing, the use of black truffle infused clarified butter put the meal completely over the top. Don't stop yourself from ordering dessert, the banana cream pie with a dollop of Guiness-chocolate Ice Cream was a nice finish to an outstanding meal. Service was a solid "10". We were staying at the Palazzo and wanted to find a great dining venue in house and followed recommendations to this restaurant. Conveniently located in restaurant row. Nice decor. Greated immediately and seated. Waiter was fantastic. We ordered Oysters and Crab cakes as appetizers. Both wonderful. We split the tomato salad. Wonderful. My wife had the Halibut special and loved the dish. I had the Tuna and was initially overwhelmed by salt and spice. I mentioned this to the waiter and he quickly accomodated and brought another tuna round to my liking. Dessert was three flavors of sorbet...all wonderful. Bread sticks for the complimentary salmon mousse were overpowering and I did not like the bread sticks.
We got the shellfish tower and it was very good except some of the oysters were not so great. The shrimp were okay. For 80 bucks it should have been better. Lose the ceviche and replace with bigger better shrimp, the little necks very very good.
Lobster bisque soup was excellent as was the wedge salad. We did not eat dessert. The wine list was good. My date had the Dory, I had the Salmon. Both were great, but the Dory was even greater than the Salmon. Seafood platter was good, and bigger than expected. We had a husband/wife tag team for waitstaff - Josh and Tanya (ask for them and tip them what they are worth). They were respectful and deferential without being obsequious, and willing to speak only when appropriate in a high end restaurant. I guarantee the fact that the other 5 will return. The food was wonderful, and the wine pairings were as well.
