"It was a special occasion for us, and so we decided on the Applewood Inn. We ordered the tasting menu: the food was perfectly matched, prepared & presented, and the service was impeccable. This is a great place to go for a special occasion."

"It's always a pleasure to dine at Applewood. Sunday nights they present a set "Russian River" menu for locals that's a three-course meal for something like $30, in addition to their regular menus. Their wine mark-ups are a little steep, so we always bring-one-buy-one. Free corkage Sunday nights, or if you purchase wine at Sophie's Cellars in Monte Rio and bring your receipt, corkage is always free. The food is consistently delicious and the staff is always gracious."

"What can I say about Applewood in the heart of Russian River wine country, Outstanding ! The drive into the parking lot, you know you are about to have a special time and yes we did. The staff was outstanding, the food delicious and the ambiance romantic to the extreme quality. A must for Foodies and Lovers of wine country !"
