Everyone at Aperto is nice and the food was excellent. We had the gulf scampi for starters with the featured wine. Followed with the lamb sausage Conchiglie and the Salmon special. With delicious food that is reliably good from visit to visit, and a nice seasonal menu, Aperto is a good restaurant to know about. Service can be a bit spotty, and it's sometimes hard to catch the eye of a server if you need water or coffee, but the place is made to sit and chill out, have a good meal, hang with friends, or look across the table at the one you love. Service is very personable and professional.
Straight onto the food; We opened with the Polenta Sformato, Wild Mushroom Ragu, recieved 5 stars from all of us at the table. Clearly their Tagliolini ‘Pepati‘, Garlic, Smoked Bacon, Jalapeno, and, Grana Cheeses is a highlight.
