Since they moved into their new location we can add the ambience to that list as well. The new location is beautiful and has a lovely patio, we have been there twice and sat inside and out and had a great Expierence both times. I love bringing a good btl of wine and inviting my server to try it with me. You will feel special out here in the Spanish style courtyard. And you will love the service and food. Spent Mother's Day here with my wife and son and his girl friend. Each dish was fantastic and we tried at least 10 small plates and one platter.
Only a few slips, the drink i ordered was not creative and wasn't what I asked for. When we walked in it took 5 minutes to be
seated and there weren't many people there. Otherwise it was a feast fit for foodies!

I do miss the old Orso - it was a favorite haunt for many years - but AOC has done a great job of modernizing the space and retaining the inviting feel of the room. Excited and curious at what I felt would be a great " food experience ", yet concerned about the " vibe " . Happily all my questions were answered in a resoundingly positive manner. A welcoming feel started with the valets acknowledgement to "Mom" and continued through every station of food and bar service !

AOC has an amazing atmosphere, it's a lovely restaurant. The brunch was delicious, I had the duck confit with poached eggs and would recommend to anyone. Bacon wrapped dates were also just as delicious as you'd expect anything wrapped in bacon to be. And no brunch is complete without a bloody mary-the spicier the better at AOC. I will be coming back!
The only minor bummer was that it happened to be 90 degrees in LA that day, and sitting outside proved to be incredibly hot. What's more, some of your favorite dishes have been "refreshed" with new twists. We especially liked the fingerling potatoes, and the bacon-wrapped dates are still sumptuous. To top it all off, they now have a full bar, although the wine list is so good, you don't really need it. The visual is romantic and intimate, but the noise level on a Friday night is extremely loud with tons of chattering groups and a packed bar. The new location is totally attractive,unique and charming. The staff is so friendly you feel as if they LOVE having you. Service is perfection. The food was great and fit for sharing mostly. The wine list is expansive, however we asked for a recommendation and were a little disappointed. If you have a particular taste I suggest to know what you want going in. The food, drinks and wine were superb, as usual. My only complaints are these: 1) service was non-existent for the first 10+ minutes after we were seated--I had to flag down a busboy to get a glass of water and no one else came around. Eventually the waiter showed up and apologized for his absence, at which point things got better. 2) The table next to ours was so deafening that we could barely hear each other speak.
