"I've returned to AOC time & time again for the delicious food and great service. This time was a real disappointment--very slow (but very friendly) service and mediocre food. The special carrot/celery soup was bland. The onion soup lacked depth. The taste of the burnt skin on the trout overpowered the rest of the dish. I'm not certain I'll make the trek from Manhattan again to give this restaurant another try."

"While this visit, our fourth, was not quite up to the last three visits, we will definitely return. The escargot lacked the full butter/garlic flavor and the pork chop, one of the specials of the evening, was unfortunately overcooked to my taste and was dry. The roast chicken, as usual, was delicious, as was the creme brulee. The service was very good, and the atmosphere is a pleasant one."
