Would go back again. Everything
was prepared with care, flavors were good, service was fine. pumpkin tortelli was good, but not quite satisfying... Just short of what I was hoping for."

Truly a very special restaurant.
Cozy but vibrant, this is an amazing neighborhood find that really knocks the cover off the ball in terms of food quality. I would highly recommend it!"
Dined on 12/1/2012
The food is great, some items even
amazing. The owner is very attentive and watches the floor for the slightest hint of a customer need. The restaurant itself is very small and the tables are close together. The wine we had was delicious! It is a wonderful Italian restaurant and we like to relax and enjoy the experience."

Not your typical neighborhood
Italian restaurant. Their regular menu and specials give an interesting choice of what turned out to be sophisticated and very good food. Of course, you pay for this. However given the numerous restaurants in their price range, many of which dispense mediocre food, you will do well here. Service is professionl. The dining room is small and fills up early. Good wine list."

Food is excellent. Spaghetti and
meatballs are outstanding. Also, the fried zucchini flower is wonderful for an appetizer."

A great italian restaurant. You
actually feel that you are almost in Italy."
Dined on 9/23/2012
The menu is basic but there are
plenty of specials and the food is great. The homemade pastas are outstanding! Nice place for a business lunch where the noise level is low and you can have a conversation without distraction."
Dined on 9/10/2012
Cozy Italian - simple, good food,
well prepared, comfortable tables, nice staff. Always busy, book early, come hungry."
Dined on 8/26/2012
Best Duck Ravioli. Always
incredible food. Great Service."
Dined on 8/11/2012
Consistently delicious. Lamb shank
extraordinary as was pear salad and coffee granita."

My favorite place to go for
Italian and one of NYC's best best friends, small, charming, fabulous beyond, love the food, imaginative, good, big menu, go go go, super always! even the Tiramus was worth eating!"

We decided to celebrate father's
day at Antonucci's and it was the best choice. The main course takes a little longer to arrive if you don't order starters, but it was worth the wait. Everything was fresh and delicious. Best roasted chicken ever. We will most definitely be back and bring friends."
Dined on 6/17/2012
We had a long wonderful lunch
here. Food was delicious as always. Service wonderful and we sat and chatted and visited for 2 hours. No one bothered us, and of course no one was waiting so they told us to stay as long as we want to. Can;t wait to return everything homemade."
Dined on 6/14/2012
Our first time to fine here for
lunch and pleasantly thrilled. Nice menu and a but quieter. Same great service and delicious food."
Dined on 6/13/2012
Wonderful meal, and excellent
service. I had the lamb shank, it was tender and delicious. Our first time there and will visit again soon. Service was professional and considerate ."

Another wonderful evening! We
enjoyed the food and the vitello tonnato is among the best we've tasted. The wine list is varied and friendly to all price ranges."
Dined on 5/11/2012
One of the most delightful
experiences to have is dining at Antonucci's. The soft shell crabs were outstanding and the kale salad delicious. Both of our pasta dishes were memorable(I'll dream of my lamb ragu). Their wine list offers a wonderful selection at in all price points. Love their decor!"

Genuine authentic style Italian
dining on The Upper East Side, very fresh flavors and great style."

Food was delicious. Service great.
Wonderful place. We have eaten there twice. Both times indoors. Atmosphere delightful. Thank you"

Over the years, we have never had
a less than good meal here, and last night's was even better than usual. Except that a woman knocked Andrew's beer over while getting into her seat. His clothes were not affected, but that side of the table, his portion of the octopus carpaccio, and the banquette were completely inundated. They gave him another beer, as they should have. But they were "out" of the octopus, and offered him no substitute. Nor did they halve the price of the octopus, which he had not even started to eat. He told me not to object, but I call this strange. All that said, my beef agnolotti was superb, and Andrew agreed about his duck ravioli. Our salads too."

Lovely spot with good food and
nice service. Would definitely return."

Delicious food, excellent service.
UES pricing (expensive for a rather simple meal)"
Dined on 3/25/2012
We love this restaurant. We had a
great time, excellent food and attentive service. It is always consistently excellent."
Dined on 3/18/2012
homemade pastas a treat, baby
artichokes with parsley pesto excellent"
Dined on 3/17/2012
It's been a while since I've had
lunch here, but it has held up very well and the menu is more interesting than it was. It's a great place and wonderfully quiet at lunch."
Dined on 3/6/2012
food consistently good space
alittle tight always return and bring others"
Dined on 3/2/2012
Interesting and varied menu plus a
broad wine list. Service was outstanding. Relaxed ambiance of an upscale bistro in Paris."
Dined on 3/1/2012
Antonucci's is a quaint Italian
restaurant which serves excellent meals at reasonable prices. Everything from the ambiance to the waiters to the wine to the mail meal to the dessert all added up to a fine meal. Earlier reviews had mentioned the noise level. It appears that noise reduction tiles have been placed on the ceiling to aid in reducing the noise level. My wife and I carried on a conversation without any issues. We will go back the next time we are in town."
Dined on 2/25/2012
This was the closest and most
appealing restaurant near the Metropolitan Museum of Art I could find online. However, it far outweighed our expectations and was such a delightful and tasty lunch. The decor was so comfy chic and the service very caring. We could have stayed all day."
Dined on 2/24/2012
Tables are way too close for
comfort. Entree served seconds after appetizer. Rushed through meal which was not a pleasant experience."
Dined on 2/14/2012
Wonderful for dinner but much
better for that than lunch, disappointing at lunch"
Dined on 2/14/2012
I always enjoy myself here.
Saturday nights can be a bit "tight" in terms of seating but the food and service are consistently good."
Dined on 2/11/2012
House wine was horrible. no depth,
no finish. not worth 10% of what it cost us!"
Dined on 2/4/2012
The food was wonderful. Everything
was prepared with creativity and for a refined palette. Service was great. Went for lunch so it was not crowded. Good wine list."
Dined on 1/28/2012
Disappointing for a place that
seemed like a good neighborhood go-to place. Uninspired food, noisy crowded room."
Dined on 1/27/2012
Liked an ambiance. Recommended
ragu pasta and lamb. Pasta itself is very good while I found we need more salt. Lamb was just normal."
Dined on 1/20/2012
Food, as always, excellent. Menu
is interesting in that there are as many specials as there are basics. This is a warm, comfortable restaurant. Clientele tend to be somewhat older and affluent upper-east-siders. Fascinating painting of the pope with his arm around Madonna, who is apparently a neighbor."
Dined on 1/17/2012
We had a delicious meal and though
we had an early reservation and there were many entering the restaurant as we were finishing, we did not feel rushed."
Dined on 1/7/2012
A lovely neighborhood restaurant.
An outstanding menu with dishes prepared with attention to detail. Linguini Carbonara done the classical way, without alfredo sauce. Ditto for lasagna, with many thin layers and just the right amount of sauce. If you want to experience classical Italian cooking done the way it should be, Antonucci's is the place to go."
