  • "Made reservation through opentable (never had problems ever with it at other restaurants, and both my wife and I dine a lot through it both locally and on while vacation). When we got there they seemed baffled about our table, and gave us an awkward "Ah...yes, one moment". 45 min later, our table is still "getting ready". At table, the waiter knew his wines and did offer a wonderful selection but unfortunately he also had a large party next to us, so things were moving a bit slow out on our end. They seemed also rather under understaffed, poor guy was running round. It is a shame that such a beautiful restaurant had such poor service."

  • "My wife ordered the ravioli dish and our mouth dropped after seeing only 5 raviolis were served on the big bowl. It was a ridiculously small portion considering the price of the meal. A can ravioli serves more than the restaurant. It seemed like an appetitizer rather than a meal. The portion should have been more reasonable. I hate leaving a restaurant feeling hungry. I would not return to this restaurant after this past experience."

  • "We purposely did NOT go out on Valentine's day to avoid paying for an over priced prix fixe menu so we were VERY disappointed to arrive the day after Valentine's to find that the prix fixe menu was still in place. I feel that this was a reason to make me not use open table any more for holidays as I am sure that if I had called to make a reservation they would have told me, yet by making my reservation on open table we were not made aware of this. As a result our meal cost quite a bit more than we would have liked and the dessert was just a joke. Seriously a joke. ONE strawberry with some yogurt in it? A BITE of two other pretty gross desserts. The rest of the meal was great but it was not what we expected. What a disappointment."

  • "Don't go on a romantic holiday ~ you'll be disappointed. Caesar salad kit at grocery store better taste and serving size. Lava cake over cooked ..no flow. Maybe because we weren't regulars that the service was poor. Ran out of Italian beer. Didn't tell us the soufflé would take one half hour until we attempted to order it. lobster ravioli was the highlight whereas the veal was bland. Time for a bit of quality control!"

  • "My wife and I moderately enjoyed Antonello. Food and ambience was good as expected however service was chaotic. It did not live up to the hype. At the end of dinner, our server tried to make up for the issues by providing free desert which we appreciated but again we were disappointed with the overall lack of attention we received as a couple. We speculated that the Saturday night large groups commanded more attention. We were also disappointed in seating chosen for us as a couple. Stuck in front of the kitchen door with two different types of seats for our table. One was a chair and one was a stiff upright bench which was very uncomfortable. Will not rush to go back"

  • "My husband and I celebrated his birthday this week at Antonello and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We ordered the octopus carpaccio for our shared appetizer and it was delicious. My husband ordered one of their specials of the evening, Mediterranean sea bass, and I had the lobster ravioli---both delicious! We ordered a wonderful bottle of Cade cabernet and had a enlightening conversation with the sommelier about the wine and the winery. The service was outstanding all the way around. We have eaten there once before and enjoyed it, but somehow had not returned. (There are a bezillion great restaurants around here!) But we were extremely pleased with our second experience there. We'll be back!"

  • "My family and I had heard about this place for quite some time, so we finally decided to check it out. While the food was sublime (and the portions were very satisfying - I have yet to eat a scallop the size of which was in the cioppino), I thought everything was quite expensive. Also, the service was very friendly, but became a bit annoying near the end when everyone seemed to hover around our table every second. It definitely detracted from the experience. I would definitely return, but only once in a loooooong while, to splurge like we did."

  • "We are pretty regular customers here, but this time we hosted a special birthday dinner for 8. We were the only ones who had been here before and all our guests were very pleased by the evening they enjoyed. The service was flawless and the food wonderful. Even with large groups, and there were plenty in the restaurant that evening, the food and service remain excellent which is a real feat today. No wonder they are continually busy and have been around for so long. A true traditional Italian restaurant with great food, a great wine list, and superb service by waiters and staff who know what it takes to make dining out memorable. Go treat yourself and anyone who loves food!"

  • "Been hearing about this restaurant for a while and was really looking forward to go there for christmas eve. It was very busy but we were sat pretty quick, only the waiter was over busy, it took him a long time to greet us and give us the menus so we just sat there looking around. My daughter ordered the ravioli. ..which was so unaceptable no one at the table could eat it. But the waiter never came to check on us. by the time everyone else was done with their food, I just wanted to go. So I handed him my card (before he handed me the bill)and paid the bill. Did not complain to managment because it was our special night.but I don't think I will be going back."

Too bad that it was so noisy that conversing across the table (we were 6 at a round table) was difficult, especially for one member of the party who wears hearing aids. The issue was not loud music but a room full of people with insufficient soft surfaces to absorb noise."

  • "Im very picky about my Italian food. Antonello's never disappoints.if you don't see it on the menu - ask they will probably make it. Their sauces are rich and flavorful. Each dish is beautiful and seems like it was prepared with love by both a chef and an artist. Never had a bad waiter . Everyone is well versed on the menu and have never gone wrong with a recommendation. The restaurant is lovely always but sparkles at the holidays . Cannot say enough wonderful things about Antonello's . It is a true gem."

  • "My husband and I have been going to Antonellos for several years. In fact this is where my husband proposed to me. We went here for our Anniversary, however, we were disappointed to find the menu has changed drastically and many of our favorites are no longer offered. Also, and I realize December is a very busy month, however, they need more wait staff. Waayy to loud and understaffed. We were given a nice table, as we requested and I appreciated this. It was as quiet as could be, with tables of six and more all around us. Also, we ordered a second half-bottle of wine that was all wrong, It had gone bad, and really was undrinkable. For almost $70.00 dollars of a half-bottle of wine, I should expect it be spot on."

  • "They orginally sat us next to the kitchen door and 20' from the waiting area (very noisy and busy) We asked for a change as there should not even be a table a there. The food was good (nothing special) and the service was mediocre. In a nutshell, they are trying to serve too many patrons for the size of their restaurant and staff. Its one thing if you are spending $50 for two, but not if you are spending $150."
