We normally head downtown to Morton's or The Palm but a friend had told us about Antlers so we decided to give it a try. Even though it's a bit out of the way for us we would definitely return. I had the elk and my wife had the filet and both were excellent. We enjoyed the regional flair that the food had, inparticular the wedge salad... his thing packs a punch and we both loved it! The menu is interesting to read with creative combinations but not so creative that you lose what your eating. We count it as perhaps the best meal we've had in San Antonio.
