I took an out-of-town guest to Antica Posta for an early dinner, and we had a lovely experience. The service was outstanding and the food was very good. My salad was delicious and the Tuscan chicken was fabulous (although much too much food). My guest commented that her pasta was a little to saucy, but good flavors. I would certainly go back again as there were many things on the menu that caught my eye.

We had the octopus app, veal chop, veal sausage, and berry dessert with a nice Barolo (mid priced). The octopus appetizer was simply amazing. The rest of the meal was equally good, with great flavors and a light feel to the dinner. Highly recommended.

Antica Posta has excellent food. I can not say the same for the service. Our waiter barely had the time to come to our table. He was short, rude and unprofessional. Luckily the "water girl" was available. We have been to Antica Posta many times and have always had a good experience. I suspect this was an exception and will give it another try.

It felt wonderful as we walked into the restaurant, we were greeted by the owner himself. Everyone from the hostess, to our server, to the owner was excellent, friendly yet not too much, and very knowledgeable of their restaurant and products. This felt like going into a very elegant family owned restaurant in Tuscany, true to its name and cuisine. The wine list here is wonderful and the owner choose a beautiful wine for us that we just loved. A gem of a find and a definate definite future visit in order. I just may make this a monthly regular for delicious Italian cuisine and a wonderful bottle of wine. This was a special celebration for my sister's birthday, and she was just floored by the service and how special she was treated.

I had dinner at Antica Posta again and as usual it was great. We started with the Risotto Seafood and Marco's Salad. We also shared a grilled octopus. After the appetizers, i tried for the first time the oven roasted lamb - EXCELLENT and once again my date had the Tuscan Chicken. Truly the best in the city. If you add the best wine list that i know of (Great prices too). This is in my opinion the best restaurant in the ATL

We visited for Brunch and had the restaurant to ourselves which was very pleasant as it was quiet and the attention from the staff was fast. The dishes we tasted all tasted very good. To start: the salmon with caviar, and their seasonal octopus dish. Both received favorable feedback. The entree we tried was the Risotto. Their variation is prepared with a seafood broth and was one of my favorite for this style that I've tried. Two things that I wasn't as fond of: one is that the parking doesn't have good signage and is very easy to pass, second is that I wasn't told coke had no free refills and was surprised to see a total cost of around 7 dollars for coke. Needless to say, I'm excited to return and try the other dishes that sounded good.

Grilled octopus was excellent. Crab bowtie pasta was a homerun - simple and done very well. Tuna w/truffles was a real treat. Sea Bass was so tender it melted like butter - so good. Service was outstanding...waiter helped with a game plan that was on point. This is not "cheesy garlic bread Italian" this is what you would get at a good restaurant in Montalcino...minus the great table wine that is cheaper than the water! Great Brunello options here as well. Best Italian I've had in Atlanta

While I expected wonderful Italian food at Antica Posta, I was pleasantly surprised by the Sea Bass they offered. Simply prepared, it melted in your mouth but with a very thin crispy outside to it. This is the second time I have been back specifically for the Sea Bass. The pasta is wonderful as well and the arugula salad again is simply prepared with fresh ingredients. I enjoy simply prepared foods in which you savor the flavor of the foods as opposed to heavy sauces or butters. Antica Posta does an amazing job. Our service was also impeccable. Visiting on a Monday night, the dining room was full and it can get a bit loud but overall, it was a wonderful experience.

Antica Posta provides an oustanding meal in a warm and inviting setting. Consider the following for your dinner: Appetizer - Bruschetta with lobster meat, Arugula salad with their imported EVOO and family recipe meatballs. Pasta Course - Bow tie pasta with lobster or crab Main Course - Sea Bass (one of the best pieces of fish I've ever had) or Roasted Chicken Dessert - Chocolate Mousse (order two). Make sure you meet Marco Betti, the owner. It's a great way to spend an evening.

Some wonderful food here. The risotto is just like you get in Italy and unlike what I have had anywhere else in the USA; that is, it is subtle and not cloying, rich and cheesy. I like the swordfish a great deal, but I keep ordering the roasted chicken, because it is, by far, the best around. The quality of the ingredients in the cold antipasti plate (meats and cheeses) is unsurpassed. A really good espresso, too.

Wonderful, smallish restaurant serving delicious Tuscan dishes. Appetizers are very good, the "Insalata con rucola e Parmigiano Reggiano" salad is one of the many reasons we keep coming back. The authentic Tuscany dishes (yes we have been to Tuscany) of pasta, steak, seafood are all expertly prepared and served. We have been coming to Antica Posta for many years and Marco and his team never fail to delight. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The dinner was superb as well as the service. My only issue was not with the restaurant. The Open Table notice stated we get 1000 points from 4-6PM on Fridays. When I repeatedly tried to see why the points shown was only 100 I went on and made the reservation. I wrote a note stating that the points were to be 1000 for the time I made the reservation on Friday from 4-6 pm. They did call you all to say that Open Table does have that on the reservations and that I should received 1000 points, not 100. Please make sure I receive the full amount that was stated.

We love fine dining & were anxious to try this place based on recommendations, but we were really disappointed. The service here was brusque & cold. I don't know what we did to deserve this kind of service. There was no one in the restaurant and it was like they were rushing us out. We got the "appetizer" portions of pasta and they were huge - albeit pretty tasty. They were so big we had no room for our entrees, which varied ridiculously in size. I got three small veal cutlets and no side besides some decorative broccoli. My wife got an entire half chicken and three giant potatoes for the same price as mine. Strange. The waiters were also talking about us within earshot. Classy. Will not return to this overpriced snobbish restaurant.
