Antica OsteriaAn Enchanting Birthday DinnerWe had a birthday party for 6 this past Saturday night. We were seated in a perfect area as the restaurant can seat larger parties in their own nook or room,so we had a feeling of privacy. The atmosphere at thsi restaurant is really great, like a relaxed diiner in Venice. The food was very good. I had the sea bass special whcih was served fresh, hot and tasty. The wine was above average as was the service. However, we have noticed that it appears the quality of the food served is declining marginally. The veal picatta I ordered had only a very few very skinny strips of veal, although the sauce was as wonderful as ever. My wife said her spaghetti bolognese tasted like it was made with leftovers. A gem tucked away in an unassuming location.
