  • "I must admit I was nervous about the quality of food since this brand has several restaurants but I was pleasantly surprised! The corn/crab chowder had a generous serving of real crab! The northwest duo entree was so good! My husband's steak/prawn combo was equally as good. Service was professional and attentive and the view was great! Will definitely return next time I am in Seattle!"

  • "We have lived in Seattle all of our lives, and this was a first time visit for us. We had been to the Kirkland location many times, but thought that Pier 66 was more of a tourist spot. It may be, however, the view is magnificent, the ambiance and service were wonderful, and the food was as good as it gets. Some of the best Salmon in town, and we have great salmon. We will be back soon and will recommend to our Seattle friends. The noise level was moderate and comfortable to talk. A wonderful find."

Not only did we arrive early and they sat us immediately, the entire staff was friendly and made us feel so welcome. The view of the harbor at night was lovely. The only real complaint I have it that the ramikins the "burnt cream" come in make it impossible to get every delicious bite."

The only item that was not up to par was the scallop dish. A huge fan of scallops and often order them when I'm out. They were a bit overdone and rubbery. I'd expect better for a $35 dish."

  • "Why do restaurants with a great view think that they don't have to deliver great food? It seems to be a trend, where the restaurants with great view and ambience, like Anthony's Pier 66, overcook their food and under season. I had the scallops. I don't mind paying a lot for food, but I hate paying a lot for food that doesn't match the cost. Unless the price was for the view. So, now I'm on a search for the best restaurant with a view that delivers food that equals the view. Anthony's Pier 66 wasn't it. Sorry guys. Seafood is really easy to overcook....maybe the kitchen needs to pay attention to that."

  • "Food was not great - the chowder was cold when it arrived at the table. One fish dish was over-salted to the point that it was not edible. The mahi-mahi prepared with Thai influence was very good. The night we were there, the restaurant had numerous large groups having a party so it was very noisy. We are moving to Seattle and were looking for places that we could frequent once we move...this would not be one of them."

  • "We went to Anthony's with 2 other couples that were visiting from California. They were split between steak and seafood. We ordered both, they were prepared perfectly. The atmosphere was great and the service was top notch. We weren't rushed and we were never without food or drink. Highly recommended."

  • "We arrived around 6:30 & were immediately seated. We did not receive water until about 6:45 & cocktails around 7:00. Our orders were taken about 15 minutes after the cocktails were delivered. I ordered a cup of chowder, followed by a rare steak, crab legs, green beans & mashed potatoes. My main course arrived & the steak was more like medium/medium-well...& french fries. I alerted the waiter & he said he would take care of it & I "would have a rare steak." In the meantime, he offers e a bowl of chower (which I already had). About 15 minutes go by & my steak had not yet arrived. I waved him over to tell him to forget about the steal because everyone had finished their meal. He responded saying that his understanding was to cancel my order."

  • "We came in to the restaurant on Sunday Dec.1, 2013. We were very shocked to find out that they were out of their whole Dungeness crab. We had an early reservation, to be out of this early in the evening was not expectable. At the price they were charging for their whole Dungeness crab, I feel they should not be out of it that early in the evening. Service was good and what we did order was very good, but was not what I came for."

We had a great view at a private-feeling table but we were right next to the open kitchen, which was cool because it was fun to watch them but that meant it wasn't super quiet. Still a great special occasion dinner."

  • "We ate at Anthony's while on vacation and loved it, but we're confused about the first and second levels. We reserved using Open Table (which gets you a table in the fancier upstairs location) but the menu Open Table links you to is for the more casual downstairs location. Upstairs looks great, but we wanted the tacos and more casual experience so moved downstairs. The food was great - delicious fish tacos and fish and chips. Great experience, just decide which location you want in advance :)"

And yet, the wait staff are warm and friendly, the food is hearty and wholesome, and there is a nice buzz of energy from the delighted patrons; it isn't often that you'll find these comforts paired with elegance. This restaurant will not disappoint you, as it never has me, and I will be returning for years to come."

  • "I have taken out-of-town friends to Anthony's before, and the experience was usually OK. We tended to go there because of the location. This last visit was poor enough that I have decided to take it off my list. We had reservations, and yet it took 10 minutes to seat us, when the restaurant had tables open. It took another 10 minutes before a waiter showed up at the table. So, we're 20 minutes in, and just seeing someone. It took 2 trips to get drinks - so we were 45 minutes in before we actually could order. Our waiter was not helpful, and only became chatty when all the tables around us left and he knew we were getting ready to pay. My soup was thin and generally flavorless. It was an expensive meal for average food and subpar service."

  • "We celebrated a family birthday with a group of 11 ranging in age from 16 to 76 yrs. Anthony`s did a fantastic job and everyone was delighted. Service was attentive and gracious. There was no mixup in delivering the meals. Food quality was outstanding although dishes were not innovative. Good wine list at fair prices. Noise level allowed easy conversation. Although not inexpensive, I felt the food and service were worth it. I highly recommend this restaurant."
