"My husband and I had dinner at Pier 4 and it was delicious. We had both had a prime rib dinner along with oysters for appetizer and baked Alaska for dessert. We sat right by the window and had an excellent view. We always enjoy our meals at Pier 4."

"This restaurant needs a facelift. The broiled scallops were great and there was a generous amount. They came with a potato and no vegetable. For $26, there should have been at least one vegetable. The rolls were okay. The marinated mushrooms were unnecessary and seemed very old school."

"Our experience at Anthony's Pier 4 was very dissapointing. We went on Easter Sunday for lunch. Our party of 5 was seated at a nice table next to a window and from then on the experience went downhill. The prices were very high for the quality and quantity of food. Our waiter was new and explained this to us in the beginning but that is no excuse for the service (or lack thereof) we received at a fine dining restaurant. We waited 45 minutes after our order was taken for our waiter to return to tell us our food would be right out and he forgot our salads. My Fisherman's platter was awful. Someone else in my party agreed, it tasted like Van De Kamps frozen fish. The tartar sauce was like a bowl of mayonnaise. Will never return."

"I to have to say it, but Anthony's is not what it once was. I have been going there for over 30 years, and it is sad to see the decline.

We were there at 4PM on Easter Sunday, it was not overly busy. We were seated upstairs with a nice harbor view, but the rest of the decor was late 60's early 70's and showed a lot of wear and tear. We waited for about 25 minutes for the waiter to bring a drink, it was 45 minutes before we saw as much as bread. Service was very slow and not at all attentive. The food was OK, but nothing even a little special.

There are a lot of new restaurants in the area, where the service, food and decor are far better. As I said a bit sad."

"Growing up in Boston Anthony's Pier 4 was always a place to go for special occasions. The food was fantastic, the ambiance superb and the service exceptional. After moving from Massachusetts to Rhode Island there was a long interval between my visits to Anthony's and last year for the first time in 28 years I went back with my wife for a romantic evening which was memorable. On Easter Sunday I returned with my family expecting the same memorable feeling. Unfortunately my experience was anything but memorable. To start our reservation was on time and we were seated promptly. We were a party of 8 and out table was clearly added to the regular dining room to accommodate the crowd that was anticipated for the Holiday, and it was placed in"
