Fantastic place. Food was delicious, wine was great and service was great! Is a bit expensive, bit food portions were ample and satisfying besides being delicious. This restaurant tops our list. Every weekend we pick a restaurant on open table and go there. Have not had one bad restaurant but Anthony's tops the list.

We have been to Anthony's two other times and love it each time. The setting (minus the rain storm) was quiet, scenic (lush trees and flowers), lots of windows and old southern charm. The food is alway top notch and the service is friendly with just the right amount of attention. Chateaubriand was juicy, tender and very delicious. We will continue to go back again and again.

Anthony's Fine Dining is dining in Atlanta at it's best. The food is exquisite and the wine list comprehensive. Both myself and my wife had outstanding meals. The servers were extremely friendly - just as you'd expect Southerners to be! The one error on our cheque was corrected extremely quickly with extensive apologies. Our meals were cooked to perfection. I seriously recommend the Chicken Wellington as an entrée, and the Apple Strudel desert was to die for! One of the best dining experiences I've had in a long, long time!

The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. I had the lamb, well seasoned and perfectly prepared. The asparagus with truffle infused hollidaise was fabulous- creamy and complex. The portions were generous and the staff was exceptional.

The food was exorbitantly expensive for the caliber of food. The seafood chowder, their specialty was 12.50 and was loaded with potatoes and corn, no seafood. Wife's filet was overcooked, salty. some of their side items like the cream spinach were excellent. but the other three side items were sub standard, bland mashed potatoes. The fried green tomatoes were ok. My lamb was good, above average, but for the price not so much. martini was great. wow, disappointed. such a great location for such a disappointing experience.

The food was wonderful and the house is beautiful. However the service was Poor. Our drinks were refilled only once the entire dinner and it was difficult to find our servers. I also contacted several times over the phone to find out if there would be a special Valentine's Day menu. I was told that they would return my call with the answer and I never received a call.

I have eaten at Anthony's before, and have always had good experiences. I do the cooking at home, and I put alot of spice and extra flavor into my dishes, so some of the dishes were a little under seasoned for OUR tastes, but were still solid on their own and probably fine for 80% of diners. Everything from the bread to the entre was wonderful. The Valentines Day desert was a little underwhelming, and a raspberry sorbet with fresh fruit topping would have been much better, but I would say they are doing a great job there and we will be back again. Beatiful building, great staff from the hostess to the servers, and definitely a very nice V-Day experience for my wife. Also, try the russian chapagne, #3 on their wine list. Very good!!

Arrived right on time for our 8:15 reservation. No one was at the host desk for approximately 15 minutes. They seated several of us that had been waiting at one time. It appeared that we did not have anyone designated as our waiter or waitress. You could tell there was much confusion as to who was responsible for what. We asked one of our waitresses a question regarding one of the appetizers and her response was "She did not know that she did not normally work there." She did find out the answer though and let us know. She did eventually take our order and I must admit that when we finally received it that it was very good. We decide to skip the dessert given all the trouble with the main meal. Overall not worth the money!

    OpenTable Diner Since 2005
    Dined on 2/12/2011
It's been five or six years since I've been here and unfortunately will not be going back. Anthony's should remove the words fine dining from their name and change it to banquet hall. We arrived at the tail end of a large loud wedding reception, a bit irksome, but the group left shortly after we arrived. BUT the wine list is down to a single page of whites and one for reds. The first four I picked were not in stock. The wine glasses were thick banquet quality and not the type of stems I would use if ordering a couple hundred dollar bottle which seemed to be the only thing in stock. Also, we had to refill our own glasses each time. Nice wait staff, but FAR, FAR from what I would consider fine dining.

Their menu pricing was ridiculously high and no doubt contributed to their having a total of two [2] tables occupied when we left the restaurant at 7:15 on a Saturday night! The waiter and assistant were most attentive but the food was mediocre at best. The chicken wellington was too little chicken with too much balsamic drizzle while the salmon was a huge piece of fish and very tasty but had an oil puddle on the bottom of the plate. The grand marnier souffle was rubbery and I suspect their coffee is still 'Folger's Crystals' as they used to advertise many years ago. We will not be returning as even with the $25 discount coupon we felt it was way overpriced.

While expensive (relatively speaking), it was definitely worth taking my wife to this interesting restaurant near "downtown" Buckhead. Been past this establishment many times and didn't really know what it was until we went there for dinner. Wifey loved it and I got big points for our romantic dinner. Walking around the house was interesting and we might have even seen Sarah, one of the ghosts who inhabits the house. Service from Tony our waiter was awesome. While this location is more geared for large parties, we were well taken care of, the food was exceptional (wifey loved the rack of lamb), and ambiance was superb. If you can get a time to go, I highly recommend it for a romantic, interesting evening in the city.

Amazing place, wonderful staff, short tour with a brief history which was interesting. staff as attentive but not constantly "checking" which made for a nice dinner. Three of us had Beef [filets NY strip] and my wife had the chef's special of seafood. All food was top shelf. My NY strip exceeded the estab. across and down the street from Anthony's. Good wine, amazing desert. expensive but with NO issues either in food or service i would say worth the $. There needs to be an effort to push this out to the people, it is too nice not to make it!

Our server was superb and knew a lot about the building and its history. We loved the pinot noir we chose and was a good pairing with both the rib eye and filet. They also brought out a complimentary cake for my wifes birthday and that was the icing on the cake. We will be back and highly recommend Anthony's fine dining restaurant in Atlanta.

I was very pleased with Anthony's. It is a converted 200 year old house and has that old world decor and charm. The service was excellent. They were prompt and very friendly without being intrusive. The the food was very good with good size portions. The only negative was that it was a bit pricey. The other thing of note was that it was quite empty. I think that is a shame and I hope that things pick up for them as it has real charm and character, and I hope it doesn't foretell some death knell of this nice restaurant. There are so many slick and polished restaurants , but how many are housed in two hundred year old plantation style homes? I highly recommend this restaurant.

We enjoyed the atmosphere and the host even gave us a tour of the whole house explaining the history. We recommend this place especially for anyone that enjoys history, old places, nostalgia. I enjoyed my filet mignon and my wife her fish...she just didn't quite like the pasta so will not let me give it a "very good" on food:) However, I don't think that is fair since she is extremely picky, but I LOVE her:)
