A word from Anthony's Creative Italian Cuisine
One visit to Anthony’s creative Italian cuisine & you will be hooked. As you walk into one of three beautifully redesigned dinning rooms, in a building that dates back to the 1930’s, you will smell the aromas of the freshest ingredients and spices, which are used to create the unique menu. This coupled with the warm earth tones & natural lighting from the oversized windows makes dining here a truly special experience. Outdoor café dinning when weather permits adds to the romantic ambience.
As you are escorted to your table you can’t help but notice the beautifully crafted temperature controlled oak wine cabinet which houses up to 200 bottles of wine. Since the restaurant is a BYOB, the owners wanted to provide customers with a place to store their favorite wines so they are readily available each time they visit. Anthony’s also offers the use of any of their dinning rooms for private events.

we've eaten here before and the owner knows how to do it right. the food is well prepared and plated with an upscale mindset. everything is done like a 5 star city rest. but it's in Haddonheights and a byob. great place! i think this place would be perfect for a small family party or get together with a group of friends. do yourself a favor and try it.

Wednesday, $5 plate night and everything was fabulous. My wife had the red beet salad and ravioli and I had the Caesar salad and lamb on mashed potatoes with asparagus. We split a Crème Brule for desert and it was melt in your mouth wonderful!!! We also enjoyed a bottle of Green Dragon Chardonnay from Alathea (possibly mis-spelled) winery, Atco, NJ and it was perfect with the meal!

Great service and great food. I work I the industry ms can appreciate a quiet place with great Italian food. My father had my leftovers (seafood trio) and immediately asked me the name of the restaurant. I'm sure him and my mom will be in to try it for themselves. I didn't know it was a byob but I enjoyed the cab franc that was offered. I'll be back but next time I'll bring my on wine.

6 of us ventured to Anthony's for dinner on a Saturday evening. We had a reservation originally made for 4 but had to change late in the day as 2 other friends decided to join in. No problem changing the reservation. They were most accommodating. Upon arrival we were promptly seated and a courteous, attentive member of the staff handled our table. The food was excellent with everyone enjoying their choice. One thought the restaurant a little dark but I on the other hand felt comfortable and enjoyed the quiet ambiance. Everyone agreed it was a good find and we would return. I did not see the upstairs as we sat in the downstairs main room. The restaurant is not big so I would recommend reservation as all tables were full.

We were there on a Saturday night and were seated promptly. The crab bisque was excellent! Salmon was delicious and cooked perfectly. My husband had the filet medallions and said it was good but lacking in flavor. Service was fine- not exceptional but definitely prompt and professional. We will go back!

our group of four was on the last legs of a restaurant week tour. the menu at Anthony's is always unique...and this time was no exception. the salads were crispy and well dressed. the roasted beet appetizer as well as the pumpkin ravioli were winners! our entrees of pork medallions came out very flavor fully, but could have been hotter. one in our party also enjoyed the beef filet meal. As an added bonus, the dessert plate featured three choices....and all were represented well. a mini cannoli, a delicious seasonal pumpkin bread pudding and tiramisu filled every last crevice in our bodies. everyone also commented on the delicious and fresh coffee served with dessert. we will return...as we have many times in the past.

Once again Anthony proved why he calls his restaurant "creative cuisine"! We were there for Fall Harvest Week with friends and we all enjoyed every one of our four courses. The baby kale salad with apples, raisins and warm walnut vinaigrette was simply delicious. And the saltiness of the prosciutto-wrapped salmon served over sweet / savory eggplant caponata offered the perfect complement of flavors. The homemade mint-infused berry sorbet was a perfect ending to a fine dining experience. Oh, and lest I forget, the ambiance and service are the BEST!!

We went to Anthony's for my wife's birthday. I was a little disappointed when I found out that it was during restaurant week, and I was never told (I did call after my Open table reservation to ask about dress codes) that the menu would be different from what I saw on Open Table. That didn't last too long, as the food that was prepared was delicious. I had the stuffed pepper with sausage, and it was delicious. Then I had this braised short rib pasta ragu, which wasn't as good as I hoped, but I ate it up. Then came the entree. It was a stuffed chicken breast, and it was absolutely incredible. My son and I had the same thing, and there wasn't anything but a chicken bone left on either plate. It was a great dining experience

I made reservations for five people at noon a week ago. The friendly hostess promptly seated us at 12:00 and offered us the menus. After looking at the numerous choices, we decided to select from the menu, where you are served two courses for $11.00 The pleasant waiter explained additions to the menu, took our orders, and then brought tasty Italian bread and an assortment of summer vegetables to the table. We all enjoyed our first courses, which included various salads and escarole soup. Everyone ordered different second courses: pulled pork sandwich, roast beef sandwich, chicken, pasta with short ribs, and raviolis stuffed with artichokes and ricotta cheese. All the meals were fresh, delicious, and appealing to the eye.

This was our first time visiting Anthony's has been on our "list" for a long time. Our dinner this evening was fantastic! They had 3 courses for $30 & the portions were perfect (actually I took half my dinner home). My husband & I chose the strawberry salad and the carpaccio for our appetizer. For entrees I had the short rib ragu it was DELICIOUS!!! The meat was tender perfect and reminded me of my when my Mom would make a similar gravy when I was growing up. My husband had the special, striped bass w/lobster and he loved it. For dessert we had the chocolate lava cake & the peach breading pudding. Also to mention, my husband said "best italian bread" he's had in a long time. Can't wait to go back! BYOB makes it very affordable.

Happen to be seeing play at the Ritz so found this place on Open Table and enjoyed thoroughly. I didn't realize it was a BYOB though. Wish I new in advance. The special 4 course for $35 was outstanding. My mother and I ordered different things to each try each others. The salad, appetizer and main course were all great. And it also came with a dessert sampler (plenty for 2 but they served one to each of us)! All was fantastic and they were very accommodating. Had us seated upstairs and due to my mother's legs were able to arrange for downstairs table. Also, since we were tight for time to get to play, each course was served immediately after we finished and all was hot and perfectly cook. I definitely want to go back!

We needed a place to have dinner before attending a concert at the Susquehanna Center. Found this on a general restaurant search for places on the way. The special offered farm to table 4 course sounded interesting and the other reviews were good. The restaurant was charming, small, but very inviting. There were 4 courses with multiple choices. We brought beer and wine and dinner was quickly ordered. All was brought in a timely manner and the presentation was very good. It was an upscale dining experience without the upscale price! We were all pleasantly surprised and only wish we lived closer as this would become a "go to" spot for all 4 of us! Thank you Anthony's!
