  • Holiday weekend excuse??

Came here with my daughter during Labor Day weekend. Maybe they had their second tier staff, but it was really awful! The veal was tough and the entrees came out of the kitchen before we had finished our appetizer. We had asked for two gluten free menus, yet they brought bread to our table (3xs). I'd recommend the sangria, very nice. Other than that seemed poorly organized and not enjoyable.

The food was great, the restaurant is really pretty. Lots of space between the tables so you dont feel crushed. The menu is terrific. The service was pretty awful and our waiter was not nice at all. There seemed to be too few waiters for the tables. Even when the hostess saw us looking around for our waiter, she didn't help either. Maybe they just need to sort out some of the problems and get some friendly people working there. The food was good....

I visited Anna's for the first time this week with 6 colleagues! The food was fantastic! They do have a license to serve california wine. We had the sangria which was yummy. Looking forward to returning.

Every time we go to Anna's I am so impressed that they have kept up their great service and great food consistently. I had a tuna special with sesame seed crust that was cooked so perfectly. I only ate a 1/3 of it, it was so large and served it the next day as an appetizer. We also had the special appetizer of stuffed zucchini flowers, a dish I have always wanted to try. It was delicious. I went back 3 days later with a friend for lunch. Once again I had the tuna but this time I had the Nori tuna from the menu. I am still thinking about the crust and drizzled sauces on the once again perfectly cooked tuna. It is also nice that they still allow BYO but now have a wine list.

My first disappointment was that they were out of the fish special at 730. If the waiter had told me before I ordered it, I wouldn't have gotten my hopes up. Service was scarce as I had to ask the manager twice to refill my water during the night. I know the restaurant is new but the owners aren't new to the game. Competition is too fierce for Italian food in a 5 mile radius. The location is great and atmosphere is spectacular but they need to work the kinks out quickly. Redeeming were the salads, pizza, and calamari.

We hope our waiter was new because he did not come to us for so long, I believe he had one other table. Another waitress came over to apologize and opened our bottle of wine that we had brought with us and was sitting on the table. He then came over and took our order but before we finished our salad our entree was out. We could have been done with an $80.00 dinner in 30 minutes. Not what we expected and the place was quite empty so that should have never happened unless they want to be considered a pizza place.

Had a very relaxed dinner for six here on Friday evening. Picked up a reservation for 7pm late in the afternoon. Apps were great - the chees plate Nd the hot antipasto, nice combo. Dinners came out quickly and we weren't rushed. Definitely coming back soon.

As usual, had a great meal at Anna's. I usually go with a fish dinner, but chose the chicken giusseppe. A lightly breaded cutlet over arugula salad. It was so delicious. Also had the vegetable spring rolls. They are so good and the best part is even though they are fried, they are not greasy at all!

  • Waiter was nice and friendly,
    OpenTable Diner Since 2009

Waiter was nice and friendly, but the materdee (or owner, hard to tell) came over and asked us to move. When we started to move he then indicated that he was doing it for us (large group coming, going to be noisy). At this point, we had no idea what to do, so we stayed where we were. If your hostess doesn't know where to sit people, why did you hire her. Food was okay, if a bit bland.

  • I was expecting a more intimate

I was expecting a more intimate type of bistro, but didn't mind the size since it was broken up very nicely. The table in the back are not too close together. The food was nice and came hot. I found the service a bit confusing; there seemed to be someone different coming every few minutes. Overall, I would go back for casual dining. (The riccotta cheese cake was delicious.)

First visit was very nice. Great choices for entree and both were very tasty. Service by Matt and staff was top notch. Very friendly and on top of everything. BYOB but they have a wine list from a vineyard from CA, which is nice if you forget your wine!! Westfield, Stirling, Summit- it's all delicious.

As soon as we walked into Anna's we were impressed by the decor. It looks adorable in there! Love the color scheme & how everything just flowed into another. We did sit in the front dining room by the windows so we didn't get to see the rest of the restaurant. The food was good although I did no enjoy the bruschetta. I love ordering this at every place I go and I was less than impressed. Everything else we ordered was delicious! The only thing that made us feel a bit uncomfortable is that we felt like we were being hovered over by every server & busser in the restaurant. At a few given moments there were 3 people surrounding our table of three. We look forward to going to there more often and trying different things on their extensive menu.
