AT did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived it was terrific. We were welcomed immediately upon our arrival and brought to a window table. Very elegant dining room. A place card acknowledged our anniversary - nice touch. The waiter/his assistant were amazing - professional, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, attentive, personable. The food was excellent - calamari, chopped salad, scallops, shrimp. Never felt rushed. Always made to feel special. Only suggestion - the adjacent wine room hosted a small wedding and the voices were loud. There should be a door to close.

This was our first visit to Tavolo and it more than exceeded my expectations from the atmosphere to the food. We sarted out with the fresh made mozzarella. What a treat! I had the Roasted Jumbo Shrimp and it was absolutely delicious! My husband and daughter each chose a veal dish. They also raved about their entrees. The service was very good although I got the sense our server was new so she appeared a bit unsure of herself. With that said she was none-the-less attentive. Top quality food and very generous portions. The ravioli in texture, taste and simplicity was wonderful. The calamari was perfectly done, not too soft and not too firm and served with great and simple accompaniments. A shrimp appetizer was again perfectly cooked, seasoned and presented. Chicken Milanese was distinctive and memorable. The winelist has some real bargains. For me a non fish eater the menu was limited but enjoyed my meal. Would prefer some other options than pasta with entrees. Nevertheless excellent quality, hot to table and the desserts were excellent.
Would like to revisit in the summer and perhaps sit outside! Nice building with a historic background which was interesting. The waiter reviewed the menu with us and made suggestions. We had two appetizers that was enough to feed a table of four. The portions were huge. Our Entree was delicious, and we could not finish our meal because there was so much! The price was good, a little cheaper than we expected when the bill arrived.
