"The dinner at Angelos Taverna was the worst dining experience I made so far in Chicago. Our table neighbors, who arrived 30 minutes after we did, had already finished their main dish while we were still waiting for our appetizer. And we ordered just a Caprese Salad, nothing special. After about 45 minutes we got our beverages and some bread. As we were very hungry we asked politely for more bread. Nothing happened! We asked the same waitress, twice! Still no bread and no appetizer. The manager stopped at our table for a short check up, so we asked him for more bread. It was very disappointing that even he couldn't organize us some bread. After one hour and 20 minutes we got our Caprese Salad. Half an hour later we received the main dishes a"

"A nice option for tasty, inexpensive Italian food close to Second City. The service was a little spotty, but friendly. The menu options are limited, but everything we tried was very good, especially the grilled calamari appetizer."

"Great, authentic Itallian food!!! We ate everything! Delicious!!! The Chicken and the pasta with mushrooms is extra special!! If you want soild, traditional italian food this is the place! Plus the prices are great - great value and fair!!"
