Our 677 Room seats up to 32 people on its own, or up to 80 when combined with our popular Prime Room (which seats up to 48 people); and our conference style Boardroom seats 20. All are perfect for your next business meeting or celebration. All rooms feature state-of-the-art technical equipment including high definition plasma TV and powerful stereo sound system. For business meetings we set pads, pencils, pitchers of ice water and glasses for each guest.

The entrance of the restaurant welcomes you with a beautiful cherry wine cabinet and gorgeous tile flooring which progresses through to the bar area. We were seated right next to the door where the waitstaff came in and out. I was a constant distraction. The dessert made me forget about being distracted. We ordered the crem brulee. It was awesome. I would go there just for that."

  • "Made the reservation thru Open Table. Followed up with a phone call. Told Jacquelin (sp?) it was my son's 21st birthday. When we arrived the reserved table place setting had his name and birthday greeting on it. Staff was very polite and attentive. Each wished him a happy birthday. Anthony our server did an outstanding job. The entrees were prepared very nicely and delicious."

  • "Chopped salads tasted like they sat around too long...very mushy...no distinctive taste except too mush avacado..use to love it's freshness and crispness, will never order again. Meats, mostly steaks were very good but certainly not what they use to be...ribeye cowboy has been declining the past years... Lobster was cooked to order..very tasty too many other restaurants not as $$$ with better food. I hate to say any of this because Prime was always my favorite go to place...we eat out 3x a week ans if I go to prime 1x every six months that's alot now!"

  • "Food was fabulous but service was subpar. One guest ordered a sirloin and received a filet nab for the price of the meal I shouldn't have to take the plate from the waiter to serve myself. Also we were given the check before being asked if we wanted coffee. For an evening that was supposed to be a special celebration it fell very short of our expectations."

I would say our steak was a little tough & I thought it would have come on a very hot platter so we could have "cooked it" a little more. Overall our dinning experience was very nice, the music was nice and the service was super. Also I do believe my car was damaged while it was valet parked. Classic Valet said they checked the video - & saw nothing, I would have known if I hit something and did that damage to my car..."

  • "The service and the food was just impeccable. The restaurant had a very relaxed feel and we never felt rushed. We had oysters on half shell that were so sweet they came with a regular cocktail sauce, a horseradish sorbet and soy and jalapeno sauce, shared the Blues and Greens salad, I had the 14oz NYS strip steak with truffle butter that was cooked to perfection, my wife had the Chilean Sea bass that was out of this world and we shared the roasted mushrooms and onions. We didn't get desert because we were full. "

  • "Reservations were made while we traveled, so we ended up getting to the restaurant a good 20 minute early and figured we would sit at the bar. As we wandered looking for a seat the hostess saw us unable to find 2 seats together, so she rushed getting our table ready. Nice! We had cocktails at our table which overlooked a beautiful fire pit with a group of folks having wine and laughing together. It was like a picture from a resort. The atmosphere was dim but not dark; the menu's are back lit so they are more than easy to read. The food was excellent, I gave it a Very Good though, because my Cod was rather bland. The lobster potatoes and our server Ralphie will be the draw for us the next time we're in Albany. Both of them were outstanding."

  • "My 22-year old son and I visited Angelos at 6:00 on a Tuesday night. The restaurant was packed (restaurant week). We ordered an appetizer to split - the 7-hr. BBQ pork stack. It was below average (cold, pork fatty & home made potato chips soggy). We each ordered the restaurant week 3-course special ($40) and were disappointed. The filet was cold, tasteless & small. The chocolate desserts & service were only average. It was a poor showing for a very good restaurant. The bill, with tax & tip, was $135. I have had a number of 5-star meals at Angelos 677 Prime. For example, my wife's parent's 50th wedding anniversary comes to mind. And, Angelos Prime at Saratoga blew our socks off last year during restaurant week. "

  • "When you envision dining in the Capitol of NYS does elegance come to mind with subtle sophistication...? The dining experience that was afforded me was only imagined, yet delivered fully. I would recommend this experience to all. Dress nicely and bring curious questions to the sommelier Seaborn Jones. He can answer them all. I asked for the sommelier and the chef to pair several courses with wine and my mouth was in their capable hands. I left feeling like I was treated to an everlasting special moment so deserved, yet appreciated.   • "This was my third visit to 677 Prime in as many years, my Wife and I enjoy going for a really nice dinner experience every so often. My past two Visits would have ben rated 5's across the board. That having been said this last time on the 26th of April was not so hot. There must have been some kind of Engagement party or something being hosted there cause there were a group of about 50, 21-25 year olds running around the bar area and causing a lot of noise.(I'm sure that makes me sound old but I am only 26, but this group was annoying even to me) Once seated our waitress seemed to have too much on her plate. I had to stop her 3 times to get our drinks filled, she never asked us once. Other than that i felt very rushed."

  • "I visit from Chicago (lots of steakhouses) once yearly and I have been disappointed by what the Capital District area has to offer with fine dining. Typically the menus sound ambitious but the execution is lacking. I can say that Angelo's was the first dining experience I've had in the area which distinguished itself with regards to both an exciting menu and solid execution. It is pricey for the area (although not by big city standards) but you get what you pay for."

I'd recommend a table not that close to the night's entertainment because it occasionally will drown out your conversation. Decently priced drinks and fairly priced steaks.   • "Very nice looking place. But the prices are outrageous for steaks and filets that are just pretty good. Party of 6...three adults, three teen children. All in about (bill, tax, tip) $550 with just one glass of wine...most just had water. Salads were delicious. Meat was ok. sides were ok. The staff (hostess and waiter) were both very friendly and accommodating. But the clientele...a complete snobatorium of people who try to look important and to be where they want to be seen. Not for me."

  • "I've been to this restaurant numerous times. The food is always incredible. Everything else has always been wonderful until our visit the night before Easter. We were early diners. Our waitress was young, and seemed to have a difficult time with the fact that we like our dinner experience to be slow to moderate. She wanted to take our order as soon as our cocktails arrived, and then seemed nervous until we called her over to place our order. At the end of the meal she was almost rude when bring back my credit card - she uttered a few words and was headed toward the front of the restaurant before I even knew she was back at the table. I'm sure, in time, this server will learn her trade and how to be more patient. "

I thought that the service might be dialed down or more rushed because of the Restaurant Week crowd, but that wasn't the case. The food was very good and the service was exceptional.
